The Velcro pieces with the snaps are so useless and in the way that I had to cut them off. Poor design

The bag was smaller than expected and I returned it for a bigger one. Although they give the dimensions on the web site it's hard to measure as one is never sure where the rounded/not expanded edges actually are. Good quality stuff and a product line I'll stick with.

The ability to simply to pack hang up clothes is backwards when you open suitcase. Previous owned Travel Pro had hook on top of opened panel

Kind of pricey for a softside rollerboard. Pockets aren't as user friendly as they habe been in the past with the FlightCrew line. One wheel bearing already squeaking after 6 days of use.

Very nice bag. Organized, holds a lot of stuff and is perfect for carry on. 3 stars for the wheels which have starting clicking after 3 months of use. TPro is sending replacements.

The bag was way too small. I have another Travelpro bag that I was replacing, and I'm so disappointed in this bag,

Unfortunately on its first trip this suitcase was dented quite deeply on top, the dent being noticeable on one side. It's normally supposed to be rigid.
Moreover, the zippers are stiff and don't operate smoothly.
Overall I'm regretting the purchase. Still out of the country so can't do anything about it.
Wheels operate smoothly tho.

The new bag is significantly shallower than my current bag, by an inch at the bottom and 1.5 inches at the top. I will be returning the bag.

I thought this would be the perfect bag for international travel but this and several other Travelpro carryon's including Maxlite 5's I investigated all had a terrible nauseating chemical odor coming from the interior. I even left it open in the cold MN winter air for an entire day and the odor was just as bad as before. In comparison to Samsonite higher end bags with their recycled fabrics, their bags had no odor emitted at all. Unfortunately those bags are heavier so I plan hold off for now and instead buy one when I am in Europe this summer where I expect that the chemical smell will not be present because the those chemicals are probably banned.

This is such a simple design, it shouldn't have been hard to execute well. However, the mesh side zips on the bottom (wheel side) not the top (the part you would normally flip open), so as you try to close or open your suitcase, everything on the top falls out unless you remember to flip it wrong side down. It's also completely easy to overpack beyond the weight limit so watch out!

I am an airline pilot so I am constantly traveling. I was very anxious to get this bag because I needed a smaller suitcase for short summer time or 1-2 night trips. When I received the bag I was less than excited with the build quality, collapsing handle feels flimsy and weak, zippers are light and bind up easily, and the wheels do not appear to have any provisions for disassembly to clean or repair, overall materials and build quality is just ok. After using the bag for one week I do not expect to see it holding up to the end of the year.

Decent suitcase, yes.
However, as a previous FA mentioned, this bag is just slightly too big. It's a very stiff bag. Back pocket is awesome! J-hook is great.
I just don't understand why Travelpro won't make an "International size" crew bag, that also expands! Every other sized bag has a expansion feature and for the last few series, any of the 20" style bags there is never an expansion.
Please make an "International size" crew bag, which expands, decent back pocket, and a better handle than the Flight Crew5.
The current handle isn't comfortable at all.
The "U-shaped" lid pocket is also way better to pack with, then the basic large style in this one.
I'm just so disappointed in Travelpro, even in the Crew 11 series, the international bag doesn't have an expansion feature. Do you think people just don't shop or need extra stuff sometimes? Seriously...which pilots and flight attendants were you listening too?
My airline issued us the Maxlite4 International bags- that is an awesome suitcase, but sadly, it's just not made to stand up to the everyday travels of a crew member- make that bag for us!

The bag is okay but really cheap wheel bearings. Noisy from the start, and getting worse. Their warranty requires me to return for repair with shipping at my cost. I can buy good quality replacement wheels for less than shipping costs

The overall quality is great however the balance when loaded is terrible as it wants to fall forward. I almost fell down a flight of stairs at the airport because I wasn't prepared for it to fall forward so easily. I tried multiple packing configurations and could not alleviate the issue.

Everything I needed fits in the bag. Unfortunately bag was purchased for flight to Canada and the bag would not fit in their sizer this I had to check the bag anyway. I made sure to check website measurements and this bag was to have been plenty small enough. I would have packed much differently knowing I had to check it through.

The extendable handle was broken right out of the box. I know that's travel pros' Achilles' heel. But seriously, right out of the box?
Also, way too heavy. I would rather buy a light weight hard shell every few years than lug this heavier case around.

This compression cube was awful. I put very few pliable clothes in the cube, and the zipper ripped on the text run. I had three pairs of lululemon gym shorts and four pairs of lululemon align spandex shorts.
The zipper broke with those items. I returned this for a refund.

It looks great, it packs nicely, and it rolls smoothly. But it also falls over constantly, because the wheel base is too narrow. I used this for vacation, and I spent all my time trying to keep it from falling over. I did not have so much in it that I opened the zip space in the front, and I removed my computer from the front, so it was not overly heavy in the front. But it fell over anyway. I recommend that you find another suitcase.

It was my first airplane trip and it did not survive the baggage handling process. There is a dime sized tear along the back spine. Meanwhile my Briggs and Riley had been through 15 years of trips and never had a tear. This material is inferior to send through baggage handling. It is lightweight and attractive but can't handle airplane travel. May be fine for carry-on or non-airline travel.

The measurements in your marketing were grossly wrong, it was very small inside. I finally found a place to replace the wheels on my current carry on which is at least 50% larger inside than yours but still legal. I wish I had my money back, will never use it, Have nothing good to say.

Used the bag three times on international flights. Second trip one wheel was knocked off. Brought it to get fixed and found wheels are connected with cheap plastic, which snapped.
Third trip same thing happened.
Try to roll the bag with three wheels doesn't work. When your 10,000 miles from home and tired, it is the last thing you want to deal with.
