Very happy with these shoes for weightlifting / crossfit / boot camp workouts. Relatively light, but stable, with decent arch support, even for this big and tall customer. Does not slide/torque. Great foundation.

Ordered 4 pair. This was the most basic, offered less support than I am used to. Well made, good fit, but just not for me.

I ordered a pair of size 12.5 4E but they were a bit too big so I returned them and will order the 12 4E which should be fine. I just wish NB would get up to speed with some court shoes that have some colour and style options. These court shoes are either white or blue and are very plain looking. At least they are comfortable and require no break-in.

I have worn New Balance 10 4E tennis shoes for many years. This year's lines all seemed narrower than previous years, and I had to go up a half size. Even then, I have had to stop wearing Thorlo socks and have to use thinner socks. Otherwise, the shoes are excellent. Very comfortable cushioning, and good looking.

I wear size 4E of these shoes. I have to buy New Balance because of my wide feet. New Balance narrowed the toe of this shoe from an earlier (maybe MC1005) version which caused it to become too tight in the toe for me for the same size. I think they did it just for aesthetics frankly. Now I have to buy a size larger than my normal size. On the plus side, as a regular older tennis player who has struggled at times with foot pain, these shoes are very well cushioned. That's not necessarily ideal for hard cutting younger players because it doesn't have as much stability as they might like, but for my slightly slower game, it's ideal. Foot pain has largely gone away as long as I replace these about every 7-8 months. I rated style a little less because in the 4E width, New Balance offers few style options.

I bought these in black 2 years ago and another pair in white last year for racket sports. These both fit perfectly. The pair I just bought (Blue) while fine are just not the same great fit as the others. They feel like they are a bit shallow and slightly more tight although they are all 4E sizes. Again, I kept them but just not perfect like others were.

One of the very few tennis shoes that comes in 4E width. Most of the others are available in color white only. These are comfortable and wear well. I have purchased several pair over the past 3 years. Either my foot is getting larger or the recent model is manufactured smaller because I had to return my size 9 this time for 9.5.

First time a 10.5 4E was way too wide for my foot. A good half inch too wide - foot slid back and forth a lot. Returned them. Probably my 10th pair of New Balance shoes.

I have a high instep and arch and a wide foot. I have tried several brands and NB has so far been the best fit. This model seems to be the best of the models I have tried. Nice and roomy in the fore foot where most shoes give me a lot of discomfort. When these go on sale I typically purchase a couple of pairs.

1006 is a comfortable shoe but in my opinion a step down from the 1005 (and the earlier 100x before that) in comfort. 1006 felt a little bit tighter out of the box. I ware a size 9 2E in NB shoes. Most other brands I go for size 9.5 or 10. Love the NB wide sizes.. Would by it again but wish I could still find the 1005.

Comfortable, yes. But inexcusably the outer rubberized plastic coating over the mesh cracked at the ball-of-my-feet hinge point, after only several wearings. Probably not a structural problem, but something NB should fix.

Title this review “as good as it gets”. I have tried to dial in the fit on tennis shoes over the past year or so and this one has landed as the closest so far. Generally depending on shoe last am a 2E width and either 10.5 or 11 men’s. Ended up with an 11 EE. Biggest con is movement latterly in the shoe. Medium width is too narrow. Tried 10.5 EE and seemed to fit perfectly until jamming toes while playing tennis. So moved to the present 11 EE size but now with a Powerstep insert to help with foot stability. Zappos has been great in the buying/returning process throughout this shoe fitting adventure.

Small and flat, no arch support. Want to play pickleball with this shoe and at present my big toe would jam into the front of the shoe. Am ordering 1/2 size bigger and see how that goes.

I'm a woman and buy men's shoes for the width. Men's are a D width, and these are no different from a B width in women's. They have good cushion, and I like the color, tired of white for tennis. Feel almost like a running shoe instead of hard flat tennis shoes. Just not wide enough. When adding arch supports my heel is lifted up a bit out of the shoe so that the heel doesn't stay on really well, but well enough if they'd been wider. Will try to find them in EE width.

I have used the website for years but was disappointed there were very few tennis shoes in my size- 12 4e I have already sent back my shoes since the 2e size just won't work for me because I have foot problems.

I have worn NuBalance shoes in both 11.5 and 12. In this instance I ordered 11.5 when I needed a 12. I was disappointed that there was no return shipping label enclosed and no product exchange form that I could have filled out. This is common with other online apparel purchases. Also, when I called to reorder I found out that there is no exchange process at all. Your shoes are great, but your online buying experience sucks.

I have very wide feet especially in the toe area. The toe box on this shoe is very narrow. the rest of the shoe felt fine.
