I ordered this in white (I don't know why it is showing black). I am sending them back to Zappos. When I went to try them on I thought that they were comfortable. But after taking them off I noticed that someone had worn them before, I could see little balls of black from someones socks on the fabric on the inside of both shoes. The inside of the shoes were soiled as well as the outside. I also noticed that the innersoles did not match, someone had removed a blue one and replaced it will a white one. I probably would have kept them if not for that.

I think I will love these shoes. Very soft, light, attractive with lots of cushion. I needed a wide toe box so first order the "D" width. That was too wide so I exchanged for the "B" width, size 5. They seem to be perfect so far. I have a stress fracture on my large toe and it won't heal. I am so hoping this wide toe box will give me what I need. Thank you, Zappos, for sending them to me in only 1 day, and for making the first pair such an easy return!

These just might be the most comfortable casual shoes I've ever worn. First time I wore them for an entire day with absolutely no problem. My podiatrist actually recommends New Balance because of the large toe box (I have a hammertoe) and these were perfect.

I have several pairs New Balance walking shoes and they're invaluable as bus riding commuter with a long hike from the bus stop to the office! I generally order a half-size up in New Balance as they seem to run short, and I order the 2A width. This particular style seems to run a bit wider than normal; the 2A feels more like a B width in these. I purchased the pink and white; it's a nice color combo and the pink does a lot to brighten my day!

This is my shoe! I have bad feet, and this is my go-to brand. 5 stars. 10 stars. I love the fact that I can remove the insole for my orthotic. The Zappos team is fabulous! I look at the shoes I want in the store, and call Zappos afterward. Love Zappos.

After reading other reviews, I thought these were just what I was looking. They arrived much quicker than I expected. And the fit is perfect. The color is more lilac but I like that. Zappos offered a great product at a great price and delivered in just a few days.

Love these shoes. I was able to put them on and walk right out of the box. No discomfort at all.

I ordered grey, which they are not. I would call it periwinkle, which I am okay with, so I kept them. I wear a 7 1/2, which I ordered. Selected "B" width, as opposed to other options of narrow, and wide. There is more room in front area of shoe for toes than I expected, yet they don't feel "sloppy," or look too big for my feet. Arch support is minimal, so I placed inserts into them. Inserts help them feel more snug, better fitting, too. Thin laces stay tied really well, so no need to double knot. Light weight, and flexible. Is flexibility a good thing in a shoe? I don't know. Moderate cushioning. Have received lots of compliments. For $41.99, it was a good purchase:)

sadly these hurt my bunion with all the stitching - and a bit of slippage on the back ankle.

I bought this shoe at the recommendation of my podiatrist - neutral pronation. I have had a spot on the outside of my left foot that had me wearing a boot for 3 months. Other shoes I try to wear leaves my foot hurting within a short period of time. These give me the support I need. I also have a difficult foot to fit - wide. The size and fit of this shoe is true. However, there is no arch support. I plan to buy inserts to help with this.

Lots of cushion. This is my second pair. I use them to work in. These shoes are very comfortable for a long work day and I’m on my feet a lot.

Very nice, sturdy shoes. I wear orthotics, and it is difficult to find shoes wide enough for them. These work, but just barely. Still, I really like them and would buy them again.

These shoes fit well enough with my orthotics for arch support (11N), and they are narrow enough, but why would anyone call these lavendar shoes grey? Nothing grey about them. Because I'm unwilling to be seen in public with this medium lavendar color on my feet, I'm returning them.

I hoped a half-size larger would be more comfortable for me, but the size 8W is still too narrow for my bunion. I have to return them. I have a hard time finding a shoe that is extra wide through the base of my toes but narrow in the heel as well as being super cushioned for walking.

These fit great and are comfortable, but my narrow heels slide up and down like crazy when I walk in them. :(

It was slightly short for an 11 length. Also, the color is more of a pale beige or taupe, but not white. Finally, there were edges not sewn on carefully.

These sneakers didn't work for me. I have been wearing size 5Wide and bought the same here. They may have fit the length correctly but my big and last toe end toe were scraping. I was hoping that by wearing them they might stretch out, but that I couldn't break them in. I'm hoping to find another mesh sneaker.

Love getting shoes through Zappos! The customer support is friendly and excellent. Returns are quick and easy. I have great difficulty getting sneakers with a size 5 D width, with a painful toe on the outside border of my widest foot (DD!) Most of the available sneakers I've found are all white and clunky looking. These sneakers are stylish and because of the mesh portion allow some give for my toe. I did order a half size bigger to allow my wide foot to avoid the decreased width in the toe. As noted in some other reviews, the heel is padded, but quite wide, which causes too much motion in the heel area. This can be corrected with adhesive heel pads. Very minimal arch support, so I switched out the liners. I do wish Zappos had more stylish sneakers in smaller sizes with wider widths for my type of foot.

I usually take AA in all shoes, but with tennis shoes, I’m fine with the shoelaces tightening as necessary. This is my second pair, as I love the color & they have washed well & very comfortable! I like the clean look in the summer with my skirts.

These are GREAT!!!! - true to size and felt like old friends on my first hike. New Balance are the best walking shoes and have been my choice for many years.

For someone who needs a high toe box, these are perfect

Great support and comfort. A little stiff in one spot when new, but this is my second pair and I know that after I've worn them for a little while, the tight spot will go away. Wish they still had this in the velcro attachment (cuz the laces come undone sometimes and are a bit long), but I didn't see it on Zappos - maybe somewhere else.

Shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I'm on my feet all day, and these don't cause discomfort. Lightweight, easy on the legs. Nice violet color.

I wear a 71/2 narrow. These shoes fit great, roomy toe box, lot of cushioning around the heel, however the heel is slightly larger than I’m use to in a narrow. I used a little heavier/medium weight sock to take up the slack. Have worn them several times and even run in them without an issue.

The color was a little different than the photo as mentioned in other reviews. More of a lavender gray. The shoes are very comfortable with plenty of room in the toe. The shoe has good support and the shoe is not too heavy. My physical therapist recommended New Balance shoes and I have been very pleased with them.
