I am an Usher at a Concert Hall and can often stand for over several hours a performance. When bringing patrons to their seats these boots protect my feet from hitting many objects and protect my ankles from spraining.

My right foot is wider than the left and until now I always had to buy local and try on first. I took a gamble ordering online and couldn't be happier. The 10W size is perfect for me. I'm a motorcycle rider and always wore ankle high leather boots. I woke up one morning, realized that age is creeping up on me and moved to a trike. I no longer needed the extra support of heavy leather and thought I'd try these. They are perfect for the trike.

I have only been comfortable with the 857 sneaker.. I weigh 330 and need stable foot wear. These are good and are comfortable for even 14 hr days. Ordered a half size larger and a width bigger.. toe box is narrow

I purchased 9.5 in EEEE. That is my "Normal" size in a NB shoe. I have had many NB shoes, My current good feeling all day shoe is a NB shoe. It is a MW1300DD. I needed an ankle high boot with waterproof and insulation. I have another insulated, very comfortable brand that is warm, but by the end of the day has my feet aching. I suspect a lack of support. Typically any NB shoe is comfortable all day for me. I purchased the MW1400v1 in BLACK because not only was it a NB shoe but it was one of the only low boots in a WIDE with insulation. I have worn the boot on several days. Fit is exactly what I would expect from a NB product. I plan to use these shooting Soprting Clays in the northeast winter days, usually 3 hours outside. So far my experience with the MW1400v1in a warm car or in a store is warm feet similar to the temperature I feel in the uncomfortable other brand insulated boots I have, so outside I expect to have warm feet too.

I wear my 1400's daily. They provide good ankle support and are truly waterproof. I had accidentally spilled gasoline on one pair -- they were cruddy and needed a good cleaning, unwearable in that state. With nothing to lose, they got the washing machine! I removed the inserts and laces, into the TOP LOAD machine, by themselves, lots of detergent, large fill, cold wash. I stopped the machine at the "spin" cycle, removed the shoes, and restarted the machine empty, to spin and pump out the water. Refilled for the "rinse" cycle, again stopping before the "spin" cycle. Drained the shoes, and let them air dry, which took several days. They survived and the gasoline odor is hardly noticeable and the dirt and crud are gone.

I love these boots because they fit LOL! I have extremely wide feet and these are the only company I can find shoes to fit. My only disappointment is they do not offer the other colors so I am stuck always getting the brown ones.

I'm a casual hiker - usually no more than 5-6 miles on a day hike but I like to take a backpacking trip once a year. I have very wide feet so I look for 4E to 6E boots. I bought these because they looked strong and ran 6E. I can wear an 11.5 but bought 12 just in case they ran small. The 6E fit is perfect. I can rarely wear a pair of shoes comfortably from the box without stretching them out for a few weeks. These were perfect from the start. Rugged like I wanted, comfortable, and they look good. .

12 EEEEEE is a perfect fit, snug but not tight. I will order another pair so I have a back up. I wish the 12 EEEEEE was available in different colors, the gray looks nice.

This is my second pair of 1400s and I wear them every day for everything from running errands around town to hiking in the mountains. The support and fit are exceptional, especially in the heel. The fit is true. I know this because I wear 11.5, 6W but since you didn't have those, I ordered a pair of 11.5, 4Ws, which were indeed tight. Fortunately, I was able to find my size from another supplier and they fit like the proverbial glove.

I bought these to keep my feet dry when walking my dogs in wet grass and mud. They work great. My feet stay totally dry and the traction is good. The fit is true to size and comfortable. I haven't yet tried them for hiking but expect they will be good for lightweight hikes.
