Wear them to work and out when snow blowing they are warm.

I bought this particular boot, because I had injured my right foot. It had healed faster, to the surprise of my doctor. I also kept the metal boot on longer than the doctor had suggested. Before my injury, I had been wearing 1540v before my injury. I was always wearing NB sneakers, for a long while. However, I had ordered these boots previously, and found them amazingly comfortable. On a recent trip to the Middle East they were the only shoe that I wore. Extensive walking on granite , stone, sand, crushed rock, and other hard surfaces, was handled very well. Thank you NB.

These feel like sneakers wrapped in boots. I recommend them for everyone.

Well, first of all it's Wide. I have wide feet and have a difficult time finding comfortable wide boots. This one fills the bill. I do use a NB orthopedic insert. Comfortable all day. Waterproof, although I haven't tested that feature yet. Grips the ground providing stable balance. I have seen better looking boots, however, none more comfortable.

Fits well and comfortable. Sole should last life of shoe. Definitely recommend.

These shoes are made very well, and they fit perfectly and feel great.

I will use this snowshoe running. The boot is warm but not overly so, as the width of this 4e is perfect for me.

I do a lot of trail hiking. This time of year the ground conditions fluctuate from frozen to extremely wet and muddy. These boots have kept my feet dry and comfortable. I have very wide feet and the 6E widest width offered allows me to wear thick wool boot socks. My only knock is the laces that come with the boots and it's the same problem on all new boots I've tried. Those round nylon laces never stayed tied, and the rough uneven ground I travel over means my ankles have to flex a lot which loosens up the laces until they come undone. I always replace these laces with flat leather laces that have enough friction to stay tied unlike those nylon ones.

I was really happy when I discovered NB was making boots. I bought a gray pair for vacation tours, street hiking and general use, and was very pleased. So, I bought this brown pair to expand my ability to wear them. These are just as wonderful as the first pair!

Good fit after returning 1st order. Really comfortable especially for long walks which I do. Been buying this genre of boot for the past few years. It's changed a little from year to year but the same comfort is always there.

So far it's totally waterproof. So much lighter than my traditional hiking boots, but also very sturdy

I have been buying New Balance shoes for at least 6 years. They are the only shoes that fit me in their extra wide version. I only wish that carry more variety

Availability of 6E widths from New Balance is great! I have always worn wide width shoes, especially in the last 10 years due to accident damage to my one foot. I am on my 3rd pair of these now in 3 years. I switched from a competitor's shoe that was similar when it became difficult getting it in my 6E size. I like the fit of the 1400 better, and they are less expensive too!

Very comfy right from the start . Fit well . Look like the should last .
