Comfortable and long lasting. Easy to get on and off and waterproff.

I've had two pair of 1400s and wear them year round from central Texas to an Alaskan cruise. I wear a 13D and they fit great, and mine have held together very well. My only complaint is availability in my size! I'm wearing 1300s right now, but though comfortable, 1400s are better for me and I want them in brown or charcoal would be very nice.

The shoe hold onto my feet and gives a lot of support. I have little control of the muscles in my feet and below the knee due to a neuropathy. These help make up for the looseness in my feet and ankles. They also look good enough to be my main shoes. I wear them all the time, and they last up to a year before the heel gets sloped.

My husband loves this boot, has bought at least 3 pair. Our probally is you guys arent offering his size at this time, I guess, He has been tring for over a year, we keep checking . He wears a 11.5 extra wide. Please let us know if you think the right sizes will ever be available.

I wear them everyday as I'm on my Feet alot during the day. A very very comfortable shoe!!!!!! I wish the Narrow were more available though.

Love the boots, everything about them was spot on. They are far and away the best light hiking boots that I owned, much better than my adidas.

I have narrow feet and New Balance has the shoes that fit.

This is the only shoe that I have found that does not make my feet hurt. The uppers come apart before the soles wear out.

This is quite possibly the only hiking boot in existence anywhere that is available in a men's narrow size. The fit and quality are great. I've owned several pairs of these, over the years. Now, please bring back the black one, too. It doesn't have to be insulated.

I really like these shoes for everyday wear. They are really great in any situation. As much as I like them they could be a little more durable. Usually after a couple years of regular wear they usually start falling apart somewhere or other. I have other boots that are more durable but not near this comfortable.

Just bought my 6th and 7th pairs. NB hasn't made them for more than a year so now I'll be good for a while.

Very light, waterproof, good ankle support. Have replaced conventional hiking boots with these. Wear them every day. Have worn out one pair and on second. Bought a third for when these wear out.

A well built shoe that is lightweight, very comfortable, and available in large and wide sizes.

I wear these to work M-F, rain or shine. This is the most comfortable boot right out of the box that I have bought (and I have tried many different shoes/boots). Absolutely no break in period. My feet stay dry when it's raining (and occasionally I take on a deep puddle). I only get about 6 months out of the soles, but I put them through hell.

Worth waiting for. Was on back order. Now back in stock. So I ordered a second pair

I use these everyday for all around use. Mostly in the colder months of the year. Great ankle and arch support. Water proof.

I've struggled with wide feet footwear my entire life but also enjoy the outdoors - hiking, hunting, or even just walking around the neighbourhood. After a few years of trying to find outdoor boots I'm thrilled to have discovered these, and it makes it hard to wear shoes anymore. They don't weigh too much for the trail or walks, but have the durability and support you expect from a boot. Light merino socks in the summer and heavier ones in the winter make this boot very versatile for different seasons. People seem to forget boots should be a half or full size larger than shoes. I wear 9.5 2E with Fresh Foam shoes, but wear a 10 2E with these. The added length in 2E makes them plenty wide enough, which is where I think some of these reviewers missed the mark. I'm at about 1.5 years with mine now. They are starting to lose support which is very reasonable considering how many KMs they've seen over varied terrain, but have otherwise held up beautifully. Every month or two I wipe them down with water, let them air dry, and apply a leather treatment cream to help keep the leather fresh and preserved. This helps the waterproofing too, which is still working well. This has become my go-to footwear for everything now, and I hope New Balance continues to make these. They also fit my orthotics wonderfully, which helped me deal with some knee issues over the past year.

I could only find this shoe online and it's so comfortable and hard-wearing - I would buy it again and again.

I walk a lot and need a shoe that gives good ankle support and stability. I have found this boot provides both. Hope that this mens model as well as the womens model will be continued to be manufactured.

I have worn out one pair and am on the second pair. Use them for everything, hiking, hunting, and wear around town. Incredibly light and comfortable. Really like the Goretex feature. Trying to buy another pair or two for when these wear out. My size is out of stock. Hope that is temporary.

I wear my boots for a walk in the park every day ,they are very comfortable and warm.

Bought these to walk the dogs in the snow. Feet have been dry and very comfortable. Followed recommendations and went half size larger
