They're warm, light and most definitely waterproof. Love them.

Had to return the first pair (return went very smooth), as I have another pair of NB but the size didn't match my old pair. Ordered a size bigger so it worked out.

I have hard to fit feet and these boots are THE BEST, THE MOST COMFORTABLE footwear I've ever worn. I highly recommend.

Needed extra support. Had custom insoles made to help with flat foot. On the toad to recovery and these shoes helped. Gives me extra support I need in my ankles and when laced tight, helps me with my walking; 4 miles I do a day theought the weekdays.

Great boot - I’m on my fourth pair. I’m ordering a new pair after 18 months and 1500 miles on dirt trails. The tread is now smooth and little gaps are appearing in the seams. I like the light weight and big toe box. I’m a woman who normally wears 10.5 W (duck feet). In these I wear men’s 10 4E. No corns??

Fits as expected, good walking boot, very comfortable

I recently purchased the NB 1400v1 and I am convinced NB makes the best hiking shoe for the avid hiker. The fit is true to size, and comfort is paramount. It is also a greaat shoe to use in your casual dress when you are out and about. I highly recommend this shoe.

These shoes are simply fabulous. I found them while looking for a waterproof walking sneaker and I have had good luck with NB for comfortably accommodating my feet, which is not easy. I was planning to walk the Camino de Santiago, the challenging pilgrimage walk in Spain featured in the movie "The Way". Hundreds of km of walking. Rain was possible at any time. I needed to be free from rubbing, blistering, being too hot, wet, etc. I bought another pair, low cut, but only wore those NB's once. These - I lived in for the Camino duration. Amazing. With bunions and difficult feet, I nevertheless did not suffer so much as one blister. I "broke them in" before heading to Spain, but truth be told, these don't even require breaking in. But I walked many training miles to be sure they weren't going to be rubbing or pinching somewhere on my feet. I'm so happy with these - my go shoes for any hike or long walk. My guide on the Camino thought they looked hot when the weather warmed up - but they are not hot at all. They look like a boot, feel like a sneaker, wear like a support shoe in every way. Excellent!
