I want to thank the reviewers that suggested to me to buy the next size up. I typically wear a 12 but ordered the 13 and it fit perfectly. Had I ordered a 12 they would have been returned. Happy with the fit, feel, and appearance.

I bought these boots because I wanted something waterproof to wear when out in bad weather. They are good for that and they are very comfortable to wear as an outdoor walking shoe too. So I'm using them more than I expected.

I am doing a lot of trail hiking and needed something with more ankle support than plain cross trainers. I have been wearing NB since 1979 when I discovered their outlet in Allston. I typically take a 10.5 EEEE. With these I needed to go up to a size 11. No issue with the exchange, free shipping each way. As for the boots, very comfortable, great ankle support, and very light weight. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Shoe laces are too short. They are probably the correct length for the other colors, but the black version of this shoe is insulated, so the shoe lace comes out too short.

My physical therapist told me I need to wear motion control shoes all the time I'm on my feet to keep my knees aligned adequately so I can walk properly. He was right about needing motion control shoes, and by extension, motion control boots. This model 1400 satisfies that need and happens to be a great waterproof hiking boot. Yes, it is very comfortable.

I had a pair of these for ten years! but they finally gave out. At first I ordered the same size as my old boots, they were TOO small. I then ordered the next half size up, but again they were too small. I had to order a whole size larger. These fit GREAT!

I bought these in November of 2017 for walking in the rain but they double as warm winter walking shoes and so much more. I have the narrow size shoe for my B width and they are perfect. They are dry, warm, supportive and very comfortable. I have even worn them to work on business casual days and for short trips on my Harley. I will definitely buy them again, assuming they will wear out someday, though they show no obvious signs of wear yet. If you live in a cool, wet climate like Washington, I highly recommend them.

One of my doctors educated me last Fall in the cold, hard, truth...that "you can only get so many miles outta a pair of shoes". Now, I have foot probs --so even moreso the reason to take better care of da feets. So...lately I've become more "sneaker oriented" in my work-wear since I'm on my feet all day... And I love walks and exercise so, you get the gist... Well, I was in desperate need of some new hiking boots and wanted all black. The all-black up to my ankles that I was dreaming about were only in the men's! No problem, I ordered the size-and-a-half down and -boom! When I tried them on when I got them I thought they were tight at first --but my hubby reassured me that they'd stretch a bit after some wear. So...I wore them today and I was in Heaven...

I so wanted to love these boots, and I did the second I took them out of the box! I'm a woman but due to severe foot issues I have to wear mens' shoes. These are so sleek and great looking, and the Rollbar feature and waterproof finish are just what I was looking for. That is at least until I discovered that the tongue is sewn directly into the sides of the boot, almost all the way up, with only the 2 top black loops not affected. Since I wear braces that make my ankles immobile I'm completely unable to get my feet into the boots (I need a good amount of space in the center of the shoe to get them on and this shoe just barely opens. Thus, I can't rate the comfort or fit of the boots, but I sure wish I could! I have to go back to my old Dunham Clouds, which I really like a lot, but I was looking to replace them as I've worn them for 3 winters and they've seen better days. I'm so disappointed! Thought my only issue would be whether to keep the 10.5 4E or 11 4E, but now both pair have to go back. Zappos needs to make this feature clear in the description to avoid returns.

By far the most comfortable shoe I have ever had, right from the very first time I put them on. Only thing is, as with most brands nowadays, the laces come untied alot. Laces seem to be made out of something slippery, which causes them to come untied.

NB advised to order a half size up for this model, and so glad I did. The shoe provides a layer of thinsulate which helps keep the feet warm on a daily 2 mile early morning walk here in New England. I would definitely buy this boot again, as I believe it is the only thinsulate model produced and is very comfortable and deceiving light weight.

First off the boots look so cute .I bought this shoes for my husband for work . They look much better than other work shoes, they are not bulky and very light. He love it . Can’t say how they will hold up , but they look very sturdy. I will definitely reorder.
