The shoe fits big/ wide, as a few reviewers noted. I added insoles to help , which they did. However, I play golf on a hilly course and these shoes do not provide much lateral support. Therefore , i will not be able to use them, nine holes was enough. This is the first FJ product that I have ever had that was not a great fit and I have bought many through my life ( 64 years old). I will go back to the SL or Dry Joys .

Too big - not true to size. At least one size longer than indicated.

Concept of being able to slip on shoes and quickly tighten and loosen shoes is great. Problem is that I have issues getting one or both shoes to work correctly

The new shoe is excellent quality, very waterproof and good looking. The only issue I have is that it has a very high raised heel that has given me blisters on the back of my legs where it rubs up and down. My ankle socks are lower than this spot, so I am going to have to wear higher socks or some tape where it is rubbing. #sweepstakes

The shoe is very comfortable however after playing my first round the shoe turned green due to the pollen. The shoes should be more resistant to the environment.

HyperFlex is the perfect name for these shoes, just by virtue of their name, they're beyond flexiblemaybe too flexible. Summary: Good looking comfortable shoe for playing cart golf on a dry, non-muddy, flat, golf course. Read on if you'd like more info. These shoes feel great when you're standing on level ground, even walking on a flat floor. I was sold on them when I was walking around the golf store, they felt fabulous, but it's a different story on the course. My home course is hilly with lots of uneven lies. I walk 18 a few times a week and find that these shoes can be sometimes treacherous. No matter how tight I make the laces, my foot moves around when walking on slopes. It has nothing to do with fit, the sizing is exactly right. Normally I take a wide, but I went to medium with these because the fabric allows for a little snugger fit. Great cushion in the soles, the flexible fabric make them comfortable around the foot. That same stretchy knitted material just doesn't have enough support to keep the foot stable while walking on side slopes, and I can even feel my foot slide inside the shoe when I'm swinging more intensely, like with a driver. There's a reason why we wear stable, stiff hiking boots on trails, and not cushy casual shoes, and likewise, we probably wouldn't wear those same board like hiking boots walking around town or at home on even surfaceswhere the cushy soles and soft knitted uppers gently hug our feet all day long. They're likely fine for riding around the course in a cart, or maybe even walking on flat golf courses, in Florida, but walking 18 on slopesmeh. Maybe I'll take these down to Florida and leave them there. Also, cleaning mud off the fabric takes more work to get the knitted texture clean than say wiping off a smooth leather upper. Some of my golf buddies never clean their shoes, but their clubs and balls are also gunky tooclean shoes, clubs, balls = clean score card.

beautiful shoe right out of the box, but it's HUGE! I've worn size 9 my entire adult life and have even golfed in Foot Joy's that were size 9 in past seasons, but these suckers are massive, easily a full size to large. Tried to exchange and Foot Joy wouldn't. Buy the time I finally got some answers it was too late to even get the next size down as they had sold out. I'm so tired of these companies doing 'limited release's'.. makes for a very poor experience.

I bought these shoes to replace some Nikes I have had for a few years. I bought a 9.5 and I have had some foot joys in the past that fit perfect as a 9.5 but these run a little big. They are a lot lighter in color than the pictures on line. I should have sent them back instead of trying them out on the course but it is what it is. If you are interested in these shoes I would try them on before you buy them.

Shoe runs extremely large. At least one size larger than other brands. I knew it wouldn't fit as soon as I held it in my hand. Disappointed I had to return. I still plan on buying the shoe but not until I try on in store.

The shoes are very comfortable in their design. However when one of players in our group said they looked like bedroom slippers I haven't been able to wear them with confidence since. So unfortunate since we always walk and really made a difference with my neuropathy in my feet. They should make them in solid colors.

I have purchased several shoes from FJ in the past and have always worn the same size. But this new style seems to be running big so I had to return before ever getting the chance to try the shoe ( the trials of on-line ordering. Ugg). I would also say the shoe runs a bit wide. Just a couple of things to keep in mind when ordering. The shoe did seem to be a great lightweight option and I hope to reorder soon.

I have the 2020 FootJoy Tour X BOA shoes and love them but they were my first white golf shoe in a long time. There is a bit of wear on the right front toe from my follow through so I thought I'd look at a pair of black shoes to put into the rotation. I tried these new HyperFlex BOA shoes because they were black, looked a little different, included the BOA system which I really like, and I had lots of comfort from my Tour X shoes so I trust the FootJoy name. To be clear, I did not play a round of golf in these shoes...I only walked around in them for a total of a half hour on laminate flooring and carpet in case I had to return them....which I did. The HyperFlex shoes are very light compared to the Tour X. When I'm wearing the Tour X, I know I'm wearing them because I can feel the weight. The HyperFlex shoes are considerably lighter. It's something I could feel but I'm not sure if I'd necessarily feel that after a round of golf since I'd be used to them. The weight difference was definitely noticeable after swapping the shoes though. The BOA worked great as I expected and I really felt wrapped in the shoe. I LOOOOOOVED the look of the shoes. They're even better looking in person. The one downside I found and the reason for my return is that my heels felt like it was slipping out of the back of the shoe. So when I would walk, my heels were rubbing in the back and I couldn't get my foot to remain solidly in the shoe. I tried 2 different brands of golf socks that I wear and both had that issue. For this one half hour, I could feel the rubbing which I thought would get worse as I played. I didn't want to get blisters or additional wear on the shoe if this turned out to be a legitimate issue so I decided to return them. I'm really bummed that these shoes didn't work out for me but I will search for another pair of shoes from FootJoy to add to my collection. I'd love to see the Tour X BOA in black for 2021!

I wear FootJoys exclusively including the DryJoys, Contour and Sport in recent years. Although the fit was as expected, I did not find these shoes to be very comfortable. The uppers are kind of a thin, rubbery material, so I returned and am going for one of my tried and true FJ styles.

The heel of the shoe ran up too high and rubbed my heel raw in only one round. If the 2023 model fixed that issue, I'd try and buy again.

I have always had FJ shoes. Love them and the fit typically. This model does not seem to stabilize the foot and although comfortable as usual inside the shoe my feet are moving way too much. The flexible nature of the fabric and lack of lace eyelets etc causes the foot to slide around on hilly lies, downslopes etc. I have sent them back on the 30 day guarantee so I will await the process.

These shoes are super compfortable. Unfortunately the waterproofing is not great. My orginal pair leaked after about 10 months. I was fortunate enough to get a replacement pair; hwoever, they started leaking after about 6 weeks.

I purchased this shoe because it looked to be a comfortable shoe to walk in. I play 9 holes frequently at the local course and like to walk. My old shoes are worn out so I was looking for a good comfortable shoe to replace my old shoes. Walked 4 holes this week and was very disappointed to come up with blisters. Not sure they will "break in" so that I can wear them regularly to walk in. Played again the day after and wore my old shoes walked 9 no problems. I like the look, willing to give them a try but hope they don't turn out to be a cart only shoe. If so will have to search out another shoe for walking.
