They run a full size too large , when you bring in Boa it collects on the side and makes it uncomfortable. I tried returning but customer service didn't answer because it was more than 30 days but never worn.

I am an avid golfer, walk and usually carry, 6-7 days a week depending upon weather. These Hyperflex BOAs are great walking shoes, but the waterproofing is leaking on both, and the BOA threads have broken on both pair. One pair after 1 years, the other after 11 months. Unfortunately, the breaks were both on the left shoe. I am not certain what to replace them with. Hyperflex laced shoes are a possibility, but the waterproofing issue remains a problem. I used to love the Golf Sneaker/Golf Specialty, but I tried on the new model and it doesn't fit as well.

I bought my first pair of Hyperflex BOA in August 2022. I liked them so much my wife got me a second pair for Christmas 2022. I am an old but avid golfer. I almost always walk, sometimes carry, sometimes use a battery powered push cart. I play the Asheville Municipal Golf Course, which has a flat nine and a hilly nine. The shoes handle the slopes with ease. They are comfortable and wrere a 4 rating until yesterday. The only complaint until then was they were not waterproof, even in heavy dew. My feet didn't get wet, but felt damp. The BOA system snapped on my oldest pair while playing and walking yesterday. There is no way to fix the BOA thread and no way to put laces in the shoe. I had been using FJ Golf Sneakers for many years, and they usually lasted for up to 3 years. I would have bought the new model Sneaker last August, but I couldn't find my 9 wide size anywhere. I looked for an alternative and found the Hyperflex BOA, tried them on and they felt great. I am hard on shoes, bags and any kind of golf equipment. Weather permitting, I play 6-7 days a week, a mix of 9 & 18 holes. I have been known to wear out bags in the 1 year warranty, but never shoes. I always use 2 pair, alternating them, and use shoe trees. I will buy more Footoys, as they fit me well, but no more BOA. Back to using Locklaces.

Ordered my 4th pair of Footjoys with the expectation of receiving the excellent quality and fit I had in the past. Fount the design of the Hyperflex BOA had changed that with a high instep that I have the Hyperflex foot covering over the instep portion of the shoe did not allow my to get my foot into the shoe without much work and then the shoe was too tight over the top of my foot. I usually found that the previous footjoy shoes, both with strings and BOA, in a size 9 4E would fit but I ordered a 9 1/2 4E this time and they still were not comfortable after I got them on. I still feel that Footjoy still makes the best golf shoe on the market but had to go with another company because of the new design on their new styles of shoes.

I've been playing in these for a few months and they're very unstable on uneven lies. I love footjoy shoes but my foot tends to roll over the side. Not sure if the toe box is too wide or it's just because they're mainly cloth. I like everything else about them and they're very comfortable, but after only 4 months I'm shopping for some new shoes to replace these

I purchased these in June of 2022. Wore them once for a morning round, dealing only with the dew on the grass. My feet were soaked and the shoes were stained and dingy looking. Im going to say that the 2 year waterproof guarantee is a bit suspect. While they look terrible now, and my feet are dripping wet, they are super comfortable. This only after 6 rounds of golf.

The shoe looks good and feels fine but why can't you make it a normal size. Had to order 4 pairs to find the right fit. I own three pairs of nike golf shoes and wanted to try footjoy. All my shoes at 10s. I order a 10 in footjoy, they are massive. Order a 9.5, still too big. Order a 9, still a little long but now the width is way too tight. Had to order a 9 wide but what a terrible process.

I would unfortunately not buy these again. The look is awesome, but the support leaves a good amount to be desired. If you have any lie that is anything other than flat, you shift around in the shoe and the support is not great.

These shoes were good when I tried them on, but the first round I had to take them off after a few holes. Since there isn't much support due to the fabric, you do need to tighten them down quite a bit. When they get tight, the outside bottom part where the laces tighten will start to push into the shoe, digging into the side of your foot to the point you can't wear them. I am sending them back to FootJoy and hope they can find a better design. I have always worn FootJoy, and will continue to do so, just not this design. Need to keep the design of the Fuel BOA, but with spikes.

I have worn Foot Joy golf shoes for 20+ years. These shoes are a huge disappointment. No support and cheap. Way overpriced for what they are

Pretty loyal to Footjoy I was looking for spiked, waterproof and decent style. These feel flimsy, kind of cheap like wearing heavy-duty slippers. Lace system loose which you can't tighten because they're slip on style. I was disappointed, wouldn't buy again.

Not happy with the comfort - mainly one shoe is tighter than the other causing pain after walking a few holes. I just began using a shoe stretcher to see if that helps, but next time I'll buy in person and try the fit instead directly online with you.

These shoes are very comfortable. In fact, they are so flexible I do not believe they provide adequate support. My biggest complaint is they are hard to keep clean. The fabric looks dirty even after being washed. I have several pairs of leather Footjoys that are fantastic. I would suggest you go that direction.

Put this shoe on my Birthday list, looks cool- not great for golf. Comfortable shoe when walking, felt unstable when swinging in the tee box. no support around ankle area. I play early morning in sol cal, dewy grass feet get wet after a few rounds. thought water proof would have held up after a few rounds- nope- kind of a waste, wanted to like them. Feel bad, now I have to go back to ECCO brand.

Nice looking. Easy to slip on and slip off. Big issue with the rigid spin on the back above the tension knob. By the 4th I had the back of my ankle rubbed raw. A few rounds later tried them again. Did not tighten them as much as would have like but I had skin on the back of my ankle.

Thought these would be a great athletic shoe to use frequently both riding and walking. I really liked the look of them and initially they felt great. Note, I had to get a full 1.5 sized smaller than normal (8 instead of 9.5) for them to not slip off my ankle when stepping. Despite being an athletic looking shoe, the heel rubs and my foot slid off the sole regularly which lead to quite a painful experience. I walked last week (having worn them 10+ times) and after 9 holes I finally took them off and played a few more holes barefoot before just giving up on the round (feet were very cold without any shoes!) I'm surprised that Footjoy would 1.) have the sizing so off and 2.) market this shoe so much despite it's issues. I'll definitely be wearing Footjoy in the future, but likely stay away from this style of shoe.

Bought these shoes for the promised comfort from its insole. This is the most uncomfortable golf shoe I have ever worn. Wore them approximately 15 walking rounds. Got a blister on my 4th toe first time I wore them. Still irritates that toe. The problem is the spike underneath that toe. Tried taking out the spike. No difference. The hard sole itself is the problem. Has terrible lateral stability walking on side hills. Probably should not have bought a gym shoe style.

It took me 3 times to get the size right because of how big they run. I usually wear an 11.5 EE and eventually wound up on a 10.5 EE, However the right shoe was still way bigger than the left shoe. Durability was another issue. I use them about once a week and they seem to have already more or less gone flat, and the stitching is coming out from around the ankle area. Maybe this was a reason they felt stretched out. Overall, would definitely not recommend them and would definitely not consider purchasing again. This has also made me consider looking outside of foot joy for golf shoes.

I ended up returning this shoes after trying two different sizes. They just didn't fit my feet right. I'm not sure whether to chalk that up to my feet shape or the actual design of the shoe. These shoes didn't seems to have the "hugging" effect on my foot that many claimed they had. My heel would slide around in them unless I went about 3 sizes smaller than my normal size and that ended up being uncomfortably tight. I really wanted these to work out but they just didn't ever fit my feet right. Try these on in person. They will most likely not fit true to size.

The flexible portion of the shoe at the ankle that makes this shoe more similar to a cross trainer type shoe is too high and digs into your ankle particularly at the loop on the back of the shoe. You have to wear extremely high socks in order to avoid the situation. The problem does not go away after breaking in the shoes. You will be in flip flops for weeks nursing your bloody ankles if you buy these.

I'm sure this will be viewed as my fault but...its why I hate buying clothing on-line. They are a half size too large and feel sloppy. I tried on a pair at the store which fit snug and so I thought trying a half size larger would do the trick. Well, if the store had a half size larger, I wouldn't have ordered these shoes on-line, right? The over the arch tightening support seems to loosen up a little too much for my liking and seems to need periodic adjustment.

Impossible to put on easily because of the knit potion of the upper body. Sole is thin, which makes them uncomfortable walking on firm surfaces
