I really liked the color, style and fit of this boot. Sadly, my feet have issues due to RA and they won't work for all the walking I need to do in them. I'm sad to return them.

I wear 8.5 N and the 39 is a perfect fit. Laces cinch up for a snug narrow fit. Teal color is beautiful but more of a hunter green. I'm amazed at how comfortable and supportive the insole is.

These boots are stylish and very comfy as many other reviewers stated. However the only downside is they are heavy. It’s like wearing weights on your feet so they are not the kind of boots that you would wear if doing a lot of walking. Now I’m small at 5’1 and 115 pounds so maybe that factors in a bit. Not sure if I want to keep these as I need shoes that I can walk in for several hours at a time. Too bad

I love love love these boots!!! So much so I have three pairs of them! I've gone on trips with them where I've walked around all day and have had no problems with my feet hurting. No break in period and they fit perfectly. I am a size 7 with somewhat wide feet and a 38 fits me perfectly with socks. You won't go wrong with these boots!

I own a pair of these in 40. They FIT, but my heel is still feeling slippage. No matter what I try. Sock thicknesses, foot pad tape on the heel, etc. They just slip, likee blister-coming-slipping. I have no clue why I'm writing this "review," I love these but do they require a "break in" to get rid of the weird little heel slippage? It's mystifying, because they fit PERFECTLY in every other way. Yes I've thought of ordering down a size but I am POSITIVE I wouldn't be able to get my foot in there at all. I wear anything from a 9-10 in all other shoes. Strange, I know. Hah. Well thanks all. Glad we had this little chat. :-)

Really disappointed these boots did not fit. They were too short. I really liked the style - lace up with the side zipper - together would create a perfect fit. I stepped out of my norm and ordered the teal - they were gorgeous. Nice deep color. Unfortunately teal is not currently available in the next size up. I've bought Taos shoes before and found them well made and worth the money. This boot did not disappoint in its workmanship. It' made of quality leather with top stitching on the edge of the upper and good tread. Would be la good investment.

Love this boot and so bummed that it is a tad small. I thought they would soften a bit but not enough to prevent blisters on both heels. Very well-made, attractive boot. If your foot runs on the narrower/shorter side, do try this boot...

Great boot and color is fantastic. Runs small; I have these in a 41, purchased last year, and runs my heel. I think the 42 will be better. Good for all but the coldest and snowiest days in the Twin Cities. Taos is a good brand for high arches and supination. Thanks Zappos!

I’m primarily a size 7, every so often a 6 1/2, and the size 37 fit perfectly! I wear these with a thinner sock and can work all day standing up in them. Nice arch support for higher arches and super stylish! I want them in 2 more colors!

I usually wear a US 9, so ordered the 40, and they fit perfect with a regular or thick sock (just untie them a bit more). Just like a previous reviewer mentioned the Camel color are a nice versatile medium brown. The leather is soft and comfortable from the "get go." They look good with skinny and regular jeans both. I love, love, love them. I'll only spend this much on boots that I know I'll have forever, so that's what I'm hoping for. I wish I could afford another pair!

I am in love with it. So comfy and pretty much waterproof, too. My only 3 wishes are: I wish it came with more arch support (not too much of a problem, I will just have to find an insert for the sole) and also I wish the area around the toe was just a tiny bit more pointy/narrow/graceful looking, and I wish the heel got a bit narrow near the ground kinda like cowboy boots do because it makes the boot feel a bit less heavy/clunky. Other than that, totally in love.

I'm always worried about the size between US and EU and I received my size 41 and they were a perfect size 10. They are so beautiful (red) and very comfortable. What more can you ask for. Five stars but I'm returning them.....I purchased a pair of these in Bordeaux last year. Love them. Super comfortable and supportive, warm without being overly sweaty or hot. They were my go to shoe on our last trip which involved miles of cobblestone, wet pavement, city walking and dirt roads. Wiped them down and gave a bit of a conditioning shine and they are good as new. So, I figured I'd get myself another pair in a different color which Hubby could put under the Christmas tree. I ordered the Indigo and the Grey for comparison. Bummer!!!!! The Indigo for all intensive purposes looks black. I guess if you wore one true black and one Indigo you might notice a difference. The grey are really more of a brownish color. I double checked my own assessment by asking a couple of other people. And yup, the Indio was judged to be black and the grey was judged to be brown. Taos isn't doing themselves any favors by putting brown laces in each of the different colors. I'm going to try the Teal color - in the hopes that it might be more blue/grey (as it appears in the image) than actual greeen/blue.

I bought this same boot in an amazing Indigo color last season and as the weather turned to boot weather I decided to indulge in a new color. These boots are comfortable and work with jeans or dressed up a little. Comfort and style, yes please.

These are really cute and a beautiful color. They are way too small and narrow. I am normally a 41, but the 42 AND 43 were too small and narrow.

I'm always worried that boots will be to narrow, because they usually are. I have a slightly wide foot and high arch, so boots can be tricky. These are as nice as they look. Sturdy, but cute and nice leather. Perfect height heel supports the arch. Plenty of room in the toe box. I'm 7.5-8, ordered the 38, it feels pretty true to size... there's a little extra room at the heel, but it's not a half size too big... 37 would be too small.

I never knew boots could be this comfortable! I bought the gray, but I didn't like the brown laces because I thought they made the boots look too brown, and I wanted them to look neutral. I bought black laces instead, and now I really love the mix of colors and they go with absolutely everything. Even though these boots are more expensive than I was planning to spend, the comfort is totally worth it. I can walk in them all day, and I love the heel height - slightly higher than other boots in this style - so they are a little more fashionable. I've been wearing them almost every single day since I got them. LOVE!!!

I love, love, love these boots!! Still can't believe I spent so much on 1 pair of shoes but these may be THE most comfortable pair of footwear I have EVER owned! Incredible ankle support, good arch support & generally very sturdy. Will be great for a Minnesota winter. Plus, I get lots of compliments on the awesome teal color. Totally unique look ;-) I normally wear 8 wide or 8.5 & got these in sz. 40 & they fit perfectly. Enough room for my wide feet but not too long. Overall, an amazing pair of boots!!

I LOVE the look and feel of these boots. I should have listened to others who reported the boot runs a tad small. I usually wear about an 8 1/2 and have other Taos shoes that are 39's. I ordered a second pair of these boots in a size 40. They are a little roomy but feel good, especially with my bunion. I LOVE the arch support of Taos in general.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! Wore them all day today, right out of the box, and they’re perfect. My feet are on the wide side, but this is my second pair of these, and the first pair was fine, as are these. I think I have to get another pair in another color. Best boots I’ve ever had! And my sister is jealous, total win.

These boots are SOOOOOOO cute. But, I had to return them. They were way to small. So sad. (I wear a size 11 so there is no size up. Even the 43s were too small, and that has never happened to me before.)

This shoe is very pretty. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and got an 8 in this and it is a good fit. However, I was disappointed in the comfort, especially in the heel. I find the heel very hard and the first time I wore them for a long time, my heels hurt. I'm hopeful this will get better once they are broken in well.

Nice boots. Wish the sole was a little wider at the arch. I have very high insteps so have to lace the shoe loosely, and the sides of the shoe ended up bulging, making my foot feel a little unstable.
