Beautiful boot. The foot bed is nicely padded & supportive. This is NOT a wide calf boot, so I must return it. My calf is 15.5 inches in diameter, & I cannot zip this boot. I could not find the measurement for the boot, but I'd guess it is 14".

Worth every penny. I've worn these boots almost every day. I'm a teacher, and I'm on my feet a lot. Super comfortable out of the box all day long. Additionally I've had some foot problems with a growing bunion on my right foot. I bought the 10 wide. I usually wear a 10 or a 10.5 (41). The 10 wide was great. I wear them with a pair of socks. Perfect. They're waterproof, too, which I didn't realize until I opened the box!

I'm a 10W and thankfully, Rockport Cobb hill is a nice wide footbed with plenty of cushioning. Unfortunately, when you have wide feet, shoe makers think you have huge ankles. They are wide around the ankles and fold in while you walk and rub the back of your leg pretty bad. And I didn't realize this until I had worn them a couple hours so I have to keep them even though I probably won't be able to wear them all day at work. If you purchase these shoes, be careful of that before you wear them outside

These are beautiful and COMFORTABLE boots...even for someone with lots of foot problems. I don't have wide calves so the stretch panels on the back aren't necessary for me but I kept them because they don't stand out.The style is such that you can dress them up or down.

I am 5'3" tall, 130lbs and these boots were huge around the calves and were too tall for my size. They would suit taller people better. I returned them.

I have worn these boots for over a year and they are a good fitting boot. I have narrow calves and these zip up perfectly over jeans with no gaping. I wanted to mention that I wore them through a heavy rain and had to walk through puddles and the waterproofing does work! Boots still look good and my feet did not get wet. The heels did wear down after the first winter season and I had to get a better sole put on them but this would not be a deal breaker and would purchase again. They are well worth the price.

The stone are a suede feeling material that is brown with a deep brown almost black toe. The boots have a low heel, light arch support, and soft padded soles. The size fits the same as my other Rockport Cobb shoes (which I generally do as a half size smaller than my running shoes). They have a decorative lining. Note: while the toe is not truly pointed, the style does narrow a little at the toe box.

These boots are gorgeous! I ordered both colors for my daughter to let her choose one. The brown is an unusually deep, soft brown and the leather is soft (almost like suede) to look at and very soft to the touch. It is a very sophisticated color that would look great with skirts or jeans. The black leather is shiny and a bit more ordinary looking, but elegant. (I would have chosen brown; my daughter chose black.) Both colors are lined with a patterned fabric. The arch support is very high. I wear high arch Birkenstocks and other high arch shoes, and I could feel the arch when I tried the boots on. My daughter does not have especially high arches, though, and she is finding the boots very comfortable. The boots accommodate a wide calf, with a larger circumference and more give than most similar boots. If you are a runner or cyclist with strong muscles in your calves, these boots should fit you. The soles are rugged, suitable for walking on ice or other slippery surfaces. We have not had a chance to test the waterproofing yet, but it is a big plus to know that it is there.

Very uncomfortable due to the footbed.

I've owned these boots for several winter seasons now, and they are fantastic. They have great arch support, and a nice low heel. I walked about 7 miles per day in them all over Vancouver, B.C., and my feet never got tired or cold. I wear them to work all winter and they look great with skinny jeans as well as dresses. The calf is not super wide, which is great for my smaller legs. They are completely waterproof and keep me nice and dry even in the pouring rain. Good sturdy tread means no slipping. All in all a great boot, and I might just buy another pair in brown!

these boots were SO comfortable!! However, I felt they run a tad large. I have a bigger foot and although well made, made my foot look even bigger. The foot self is a bit clunky and not very feminine. Still, this gains high stars for comfort, warmth and quality.

I got 8 wide and it was definitely not as wide as I was expecting. If you have calfs of any large size, these will not work. The foot bed felt like an 8 and was good sizing, the shaft circumference was not though. There was padded arch support that was magnificent, something that I find near impossible as a high arched foot person. I wish the heel was a bit larger as these are fairly low, but am planning on keeping them.

Oh my gosh these boots are so beautiful. I wish they had fit me! Gorgeous Boots!! However, my heels slipped up a good inch, and the boot was very tight at the ball of the foot, crushing my toes. I wear a size 12. If you are in a more medium size range you will probably love the fit. Again, they are gorgeous!

Great boot. I wanted something a little dressier than everyday, not sure these are that dressy, but comfy so I kept them. A little narrow in the toes but after one wear with a lot of walking they seem to have stretched slightly. Well made, and has enough space for an orthotic. Overall happy with them. Should get me through a couple Boston winters.

These boots are pretty and functional. Though not rugged enough for a blizzard, they do have a lining unlike some other "fashion" boots. Nice to wear for either dressy or casual events. I love Rockport boots. They last forever!

I ordered the Rockport Christy boot as well as the Windermere II H20 Ariat boot. The Rockport Christy is very attractive, lightweight and stated to be waterproof. It fit very well but was not quite as supportive in the sole. Ultimately I decided to keep the Ariat because I can put my orthotics inside which gives me the support I need.

Got these for my daughter who loves the look and feel of them. Huge bonus that they are waterproof too!

Wonderful boots, super comfortable and great looking.

I usually wear a size 7.5W and this boot did actually fit very well. Plenty of room in the toe area. The problem is, the shoe was also made to be very wide in the ankle area so it's constantly folding if you walk. Also a bit of slippage in the heel. Unfortunately, I have to send them back because of this. Really nice quality though and if it weren't for the ankle issue, I would've worn these every day.

I am in love with these boots! Unfortunately I found these cheaper somewhere else, so I returned my pair from Zappos, but i had been hunting for the perfect water-resistant black boot for so long. I wanted something classic but not boring and that would be comfortable walking in Michigan's fall-winter wet weather. These are them! 100 gold stars!!

I ordered these in a size 8 wide. I ordered wide because it was the only width available in a size 8 when I placed the order. The wide fit in these boots is like a regular medium width fit maybe ever so slightly wider. These will be great for rainy winters with thick cozy socks.

Love these boots and I don’t regret buying them! They are waterproof and so far have no had any trouble with water getting in them. Please pay attention to the width of the calf though, they seem to be smaller and I had trouble zipping them, but after a few wears they have become a little easier to zip.

Tends to run just a tad tight in the calf, but it does stretch. Very soft leather for being waterproof. Have worn these for a few months now and they are holding up great.

I LOVE these boots! I’m 5’5” and 145# - so pretty average size. The calves were just a smidge snug right out of the box, but I loved them so much I was willing to keep them and hopes they stretched just a bit - and they did. The leather is so soft and supple, it’s hard to believe they’re waterproof - and they are! I had to run through puddles with these boots and my feet stayed warm and dry and the boots themselves gave no indication of minding the water one bit. I have only had them a week - but worn them most everyday. I hope they hold up as they are my new favorites!

These were so amazing today in our blizzard conditions! I loved them so much I ordered the brown ones when I got home. Feet were warm and dry (and super cute) walking over a mile in downtown Denver. Traction was good in the ice.... and I just came inside and wiped them off...good as new!
