I don't know because Zappos has TWICE sent me a different brand of boots in a Cobb Hill box. In fact, I think it was the same pair of boots both times. I really want to try on these shoes!!

The most comfortable boot if you have wide feet and high arches. My feet are so wide (and short, I wear a 6.5) that nothing ever fits properly. I still wish they were a bit wider, but that will never happen with any boot. But these are the best I've found, and extremely attractive, too.

These are the most supportive and comfortable boots I have ever purchased! Love the structured paneled look and the thickness of the boot shaft. It will be a perfect boot for cold and rainy weather. I have dancer/wide calves and these fit perfect. Wish they were a bit looser in calf but I know they will stretch out over time since they are real leather. SO HAPPY TO SPLURGE ON THESE.

If there were ten stars, these boots would get them. Style, comfort and amazing support. They go on easily over jeans and I don't have thin calves. I was worried the shaft height would be too low but they are perfect. I wore these out of the box for an entire day and never gave them a thought. I've worn them countless times now and walked and walked as well as in wet weather and they are amazing. I have a slight bunion and it is a total non issue with these boots. I also have received many compliments on them.

Since moving to New England, I've learned that what I thought of as "winter" boots are actually not. If you are going to be out and about in bad weather, but don't actually need snow boots, you do need something with TRACTION and r-value. You should also size up so there's room for fluffy socks. I also find that many of the riding boot styles are too stiff at the ankles to wear while driving. These boots fill my bill for a good winter boot. Good, solid lug soles (but they don't look like something a storm trooper would wear), reasonably warm, and flexible at the ankles. I would add that if you have wider calves, these probably won't work for you, since they fit quite snugly on me, and my calves are about the only part of me that isn't "wide".

These are the best tall boots ever. On the first day, I wore them for eight hours with light wool socks and no discomfort. They are beautifully detailed; soft leather; waterproof. I am buying a pair for my sister!

I have purchased and returned three different boots because of my wide calves. These stretch and fit me perfectly! The arch support is amazing and makes these boots so comfortable. Very nice looking boot, and it's awesome that they are waterproof!

Delicious comfort, great arch support, as always. Foot and ankle area a bit wider than than most mediums but works with bulky socks and skinny jeans. Keep an eye on Cobb Hill-only go for the good footbed with arch insert not the cheaper version they are sometimes using now. FYI C'mon Cobb Hill keep your high standards going!

I love this boot! It's half the price of La Canadienne and it's a nicer boot! Unfortunately, it is a wide circumference which was not noted in the information for the boot.

The boots are beautiful and the decorative lining on the inside was a surprise. I have a 15" calf circumference and I could get them zipped up but they were too tight to keep on.The shaft was too tight around my calf and the ankle was too big and would oddly bunch up and rub my ankle when I walked. I went a half size larger hoping the shaft would be bigger, but it just seemed to make everything but the shaft bigger. I had to return them.

Loved the style but had to return these boots because the “wide” calf was too tight. I do not have a very wide calf but often order boots with a wide calf for extra room in case I want to tuck pants in. There is no way this was a wide calf. Disappointed

Nice looking boots - they look like traditional riding boots. The fit in the foot and calf was good but they were really big around the ankle, so I'm sending them back.

Love these boots. SO comfy, perfect calf height, and keep my feet nice and warm. Got these boots late in the winter season but cannot wait to wear them all winter next year. Excellent product, I know I'll have them for a long time.

These boots seem great- they seem durable, lightly lined well, and are waterproofed. However, the wide was just too wide and the size too big. I normally wear a 10 wide, but these were very big. Perhaps with thick socks it would work, but my feet would get too hot, and still think it would be too big. Not super feminine, but seem like a functional boot, if only not so big.

These were cute, but ran really big. They were at least a half size, if not a size, too long. I ordered a wide and the calf WAS NOT wide as well, which was what I was looking for. Had way too much room in the ankle.

I have only worn these boots for a day but so far so good! I will say they are very snug on the calf. I haven’t measured my calves but they definitely are tight. There is a bit too much room in the ankle but I’m going to try thicker socks to remedy that. These are also super quiet which I love as I hate clicking my heels all over the office. Great arch support and pretty comfy!

These required zero break in time, and are very comfortable to wear. A bit tight in the calfs, and I have a slender build, but I think they’ll loosen up as I wear them.

These boots are really cute and comfortable. However, they are a bit tight on my calves and hurt my ankles when I first put them on, but now after several wears, I have no problems. I also like that they’re waterproof, great for rainy weather

The foot bed was pretty true to size. I always order larger in boots so I can wear thick socks and they were as expected. I would say my calves are normal to athletic and the shaft of the boot is snug but has a stretchy component so it may stretch with use. Very comfortable!

These boots run a size larger but feel kind of narrow. It’s take a little bit to break them in, ive had these in the past and know they become very comfortable

A nice looking boot, but not quite as comfortable as I'm used to with this brand. They're pretty stiff - I assume because of the waterproofness - and I found they rubbed a bit along the achilles tendon. I'm hoping/expecting that with more wear they'll soften up a bit at the places where they need to bend for me.

I love these boots and was excited to find a pair in my size with a removable insole that felt good on my high arch foot BUT the shaft of the boot is too high for my calf. When I sit it digs into the back of my leg. There is a leather tab in the center of the elastic that doesn’t give the way the elastic alone would. The boot would be great for a taller person. Sadly I will return them.

I have fairly small ankles, but large calves. The boot tended to slouch a bit around the ankles, but was too tight around the calves. The back portion of the boot felt like some stretchy material (the boot is not all leather). I was hoping that if I wore it for 10 minutes or so, the calf area would stretch a bit more, but it did not. Overall, if you have small-ish ankles, and large calves, not a super great fit.

I picked another, taller boot with nicer leather. The fit on these was great!!! Too roomy calf for my slim legs if to be picky.
