These boots are really cute - but are pretty stiff and uncomfortable... there are other cute boots out there more comfortable.

The shaft of this boot runs very narrow. I have toned calfs but not big calfs. I couldn't get the boot zipped up all of the way, only half of the way.

These were just OK. If you have a slender calf these will be big. I liked the Rockport Cobb hill Ashlyn much better as far as style and comfort. Runs true to size but a little narrow in the toe box

A little tight in the calf and too roomy around the ankle. Caused a bunching in the leather above the heel and my heel slipped with every step. These boots are very cute but more utility looking and less dressy than I wanted.

These were incredibly cushiony inside and nicely lined. The styling is really more aggressive than I would like, I wanted something sleeker. But the styling on this really is more a biker look. I bought a size 8 medium width and size 8 wide. The regular 8 was actually fairly narrow in the shoe - I don't normally wear a wide and usually have no problem with the width with an 8 M. The 8 W I ordered because I have "wide" calves - hoping they would accommodate my calf. What is it with the shoe industry discriminating/not making shoes for women who have calves larger than 14" circumference? I have always had wider calves, and am fairly athletic. Most tall boots do not fit me. Its extremely frustrating. The 8 W in this boot was kind of baggy around the ankle, and alas, not any wider at the calf. I could zip both boot up around my calves - BARELY and not without some struggle. Pass on these if you don't have slender calves. They won't fit.

My search for the perfect replacement for my worn out La Canadiennes continues. The boots were a bit too stiff and too narrow. And the overall look was just not as nice as I’d hoped. The materials all seemed a bit cheap for the cost of the boots. Thank goodness for Zappos’ easy return policy.

Unlike the Rayna and the Ashlyn, these boots are a bit stiff and will need to be broken in. That said, they look great and the 9.5 W fits well. And, the fact that they are waterproof, is awesome.

Felt cheaply made, the design is nice but material is thin and stiff.

I thought these boots were adorable. I've bought Rockport boots in the past and LOVED them. I had high expectations about these, after reading the reviews. I took them our when they arrived and tried them on and was disappointed. What I loved about the former Rockports: the leather was soft and buttery, right out of the box. The insole was removable ,so you could insert your own or an orthotic. They were more expensive, but worth every penny. This style isn't like that. These boots feel stiff and kind of fake--plastic-like (perhaps bc they are waterproof). The insole is NOT removable and the foot bed does not feel comfortable to me. I read several reviews that said this boot ran large. Still, I bought my normal size. For me, the calf circumference was slightly large but the toe area felt cramped and uncomfortable. Very disappointed that I will be returning these. Note: my impression was based on only about a minute of wearing the boots, so it's possible they break in well. But out of the box, they definitely didn't fee as high quality as my former Rockports.

This boot runs large. I normally wear a 9.5 to 10. Based on other comments, I ordered a 9.5, but a 9 would have been better. I'm not exchanging it because the calf is way too wide. It's a cute boot though and waterproof. Too bad.

They feel loose I’m the heel and not very comfortable—no padding. I was disappointed with the fabric backside of the boot—not very attractive. Overall disappointed and don’t plan to keep.

I have been searching for a tall enough (15"+ height) waterproof boot with good treads, stylish enough to wear with skirts. Leather was surprisingly thin as was the lining - a lot of seams and it the boot just had a cheap feel to them.

I usually wear a 9D for width. These are very, very large and long. The width is in the ankle as well which make these shoes uncomfortable. I usually like this brand but need to return it.

Wow, I never thought that I had wide calves, but even with the stretch panel in back, no way were these boots going to zip over leggings or jeans. Calf muffin top? No thank you. Too bad, because the foot was very comfortable.
