These are high quality boots. They are very comfortable. I didn't even have to break them in. Only problem is they leave black marks on the floor at work (I have a classroom.)

So while I could use more arch support with my flat feet, these boots are otherwise so comfy and really attractive. The wide really is a wide. I wish it were a tiny bit "less wide" in the ankle area but I often find that to be a problem with boots, so nothing new for me. They are soooo gorgeous and just what I've been searching for - with the bonus of being waterproof! If you sometimes need a wide calf, try these anyway, though they aren't marked as such. I ordered my usual size (10W, right on) but it's regular calf width. However, it's generous at just over 15" and they fit great. They seem very well-made.

These are the perfect boots for me - dressy enough to wear on rainy days with nicer work clothes (vs. regular rain boots which feel to clunky and casual for work); I have skinny calves and these boots actually feel like they fit my leg great - not a ton of extra space like some boots; and they are super comfortable - the sole has a wonderful padding that just hugs your feet - I can't believe I didn't think about getting waterproof leather sooner - quality seems great, super well made.

The fit was a little large - my first pair is an 8, and I have quite a bit of room at the toe. I wear these all the tome, and I have to walk about a mile every day. So comfy! I can even run in them. I have wide calves and they stretch enough at the top to for over jeans. And, waterproof! I love these so much that I bought an extra backup pair for when mine wear out!

I love these boots! They are super comfortable and the heels don’t click when I walk which I love in my office that has cement floors. The calf openings ARE tight. Just be warned.

These are cuter in person, I think. I read reviews that precipitated my ordering a wider width, but they were too wide for me. Dang it. Thanks, Zappos, for your awesome return policy.

Absolutely love em! Feel super comfortable and look great. Not sure how the calf should fit. To my eye it looks fine. Great quality will see how they hold up on upcoming trip. I have all the confidence in the world in these boots.

These boots are gorgeous! I've been wearing them around the house and they are comfortable but too big, even with thick socks. They are also a bit heavy feeling which I'm more sensitive to because my knees are not the best. Sad to send them back because they are so dang cute!

Perfect fit. After trying countless pairs of riding boots, I finally found these! They are warm, stylish, fit perfectly around the calf - not too big. They're also waterproof!

I LOVE these boots! I have a wide toe box and about 15.25” calves and buying knee-high boots is tough for me; which is why after buying these in taupe and seeing the black ones on sale I scooped up a second pair! Some more in-depth info: The taupe pair is slightly more forgiving fit-wise, but wearing for a few hours a day with thick winter socks stretches both of them nicely! I can wear both of these with skinny jeans (that are thicker jeans, not jeggings) and with my thick smart wool socks they are comfortable to wear all day long (even with little arch support! You could fit an insert in but I haven’t needed one in these like I usually do!). The toughest thing regarding breaking them in was the new leather ‘bunching’ and rubbing my ankles in the taupe, again, thick socks will save your feet. With the black, the toe box and very top of the zipper were tight, but after two weeks they are a perfect fit! If you have trouble zipping the top, I recommend tugging a little on the back portion which is attached to the elastic to get it to stretch and fit snugly. Hopefully this helps anyone looking for detailed reviews!

Very pretty boots, with lovely detailing... the interior size at the top is 15.25", and it falls about an inch below my knee. They are comfy, professional-looking, and waterproof. The ankles aren't quite as trim as I'd like and the top could use just 1/4" more space for times when I'd like to wear these with pants instead of tights. I like them a lot, though, and they're very comfortable so far. They look nice.

These boots are great. I live in Maine with long, cold, snowy winters. I have a number of dress boots that are completely useless in the winter because the heels are too high and the soles are too smooth, a recipe for disaster. These boots provide a low heel and soles with traction like snow boots, but a stylish upper like a dress boot. Just perfect! I find them very comfortable with one caveat: As others mentioned, they run a bit narrow. I usually wear a medium width but based on some reviews, ordered a wide in my size instead. They fit perfectly and allow enough room for wool socks, which are an absolute necessity around here. Love them!

I have tried so many boots to accommodate my difficult feet that are wide toe boxdue to bunions andvery narrow heels. This boot is so stylish and very comfortable. The arch support and cushioning in the bottom terrific and they stretch in the leg with movement unlike many tall boots. Love them!

I normally wear a 7N, so I ordered the 6 1/2 M. They fit perfectly with my tights, not too short on the end of my toe at all. I am 5’4” ( I wish everyone would put this) and they were not too high up to my knee, they were perfect and comfortable. Classy look , not cheap made at all!!!!

I have wide feet and the 10 wide was a little too big but the 9.5 wide was perfect! LOVE these boots. They have a suede look but are water proof. High quality with a quilted lining. The bottoms have good grips for ice and snow and the calf has knit inserts. They feel just right - not too snug. Liked them so well I ordered another pair in black.

The 7.5 fit perfectly, very comfortable right out of the box. Good support and room if I need to add my regular arch supports for neuroma. Have bunions on both feet and they are comfortable boots. Love the traction on the bottom for wet and snowy weather.

I have very wide feet and normal size calves. I've tried countless riding style boots and have been extremely disappointed in my choices. I was extremely happy to find these and more than relieved to find that they fit not only my feet perfectly but weren't too big in the calf. Great job Rockport!

This boot fits very well. The length and width are true to size. I have worn them for several days with knee socks and not gotten any blisters. They are quite comfortable, insulated, warm and waterproof.

I have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes due to fairly severe arthritis in my right foot. That being said, the arch support and very cushy foot bed padding made these boots the most comfortable I’ve found. I’m able to stay on my feet much longer without pain and I love the way they look.

My calf is 15 3/4” and this boot fits with enough room for skinny jeans. The stretch material in the back is helpful, but it doesn’t need to stretch for it to fit me. I have wide feet and this boot fits with enough room for a heavy sock. So maybe runs a little big.
