A beautifully made jacket, definitely high quality fabrics and stiching. But, the openings from the torso into the arms were way too tight for me. I'm 5'11",158 Lbs. As a consequence the jacket was totally uncomfortable with cotton undershirt and sweatshirt underneath the jacket. I wanted to LOVE this jacket, if only it fit me!

Didn't get a chance to test this jacket in the elements. The XXL was way tighter in the torso than my other OR fitted jackets.

Love the jacket except the zipper doesn't work and the hood/brim wire broke right after I got it

LOVED the color of this jacket- which is what drew my son to it in the first place and if we were looking for a casual jacket to wear everyday between home and school this would be it. Unfortunately we were in the market for a jacket he could wear skiing and this was just not it. It would require the purchase of a waterproof shell to wear over it and it didn't look warm enough to handle a Eastern ice and wind day at the top of Sugarloaf! This might be the perfect coat for a warm, sunny March day- but was too expensive to keep around for only occasional wear.

I love everything about this jacket but the wire brimmed hood is a total deal breaker. The wire breaks so easy. I've broken multiple in this jacket and other OR jackets. Once it breaks the sharp end eats a hole in the tube the wire lives in. I'm super anal about never trying to form the wire in the hood because I'm worried it will break and just casual wear breaks the darn thing anyway. I know ORs awesome customer service will send me infinity replacements but I just want a jacket that will slowly wear out gracefully. Nothing aint cool tell you wear the new off.
