Was really excited to get these boots! Though quickly realized that these aren’t too easy for quick on and off, partially Bc of the shoelaces (despite loosening them). Wore regular socks and my feet felt a bit snug and I ordered a half size up. They had to go back.

Love the IDEA of this boot but the fit was awful. I'm usually between an 8.5 and 9. Went with 9 originally but it was too tight. Tried the 9.5 and it swallowed my foot. Not sure how that could happen, but they are going back. Too bad as they are cute boots!

I work outside a lot. These boots are not warm enough for very cold weather. They are stylish though.

They were too tall for what I was looking for and hard to get on and off. But the fit well once on and look nice.

I like the look of this boot and it felt OK when tried on, but it was too big (I'm normally a 7.5 in any boot allowing for thicker socks) in both length and width. The height was good, just a bit below mid-calf. The style was less flexible in the ankle than I was hoping. Very stiff and difficult to bend when I mock-shovelled snow in my living room, and I couldn't get them tight enough through my ankle when tied (probably due to the sizing). I returned mainly due to sizing, will try another style!

Ordered these hoping they'd be less heavy than my Adirondak II boots, and they in fact were. I liked the styling of them. The 10.5 was good for my size-I'd say true to size. However the reason these were sent back is that I thought they were fur lined (faux or otherwise) the entirety of the boot; they're not. The only fur portion is at the top by the cuff, while the rest is just lined. That won't due for the kind of cold wind we get, so back they went and I'm off to see what else I can find.

Love the style and they fit true to size but just because I have a long narrow foot doesn't mean I have a chunky ankle and there is way too much material around the ankle and it squishes out while wearing. I contemplated keeping but I think I can find a better fit for me

Ive had my eye on these boots for a long time so when they went on sale I finally ordered them. I loved the look, but wasn't happy having to deal with so many laces and getting them just right. They were hard to get on.

This boot was recommended to me by a friend as a comfortable and warm snow boots. I've had it for six months, I'd say it's not my go to winter/snow boots. I've had to deal with a lot of sores and blisters. Sometimes it does let water in and does not keep the toes warm. It feels bulky-more like I'm dragging my feet while wearing it. I thought of going a size down but its was just too tight with little/no room for socks. Not the best boots for winter however, it is stylish and I love the chestnut color.

For someone with plantar fasciitis these boots are not what I thought they would be.. They feel awesome to the touch. But are by very comfortable to me.. My feet weren't cold like they've been in other shoes I've tried. And my job requires me to be in cold conditions so my toes know the difference. Loved the cushioning throughout the shaft of the boot. But once again not a good choice for me.... Sad to be returning...

Great boot until I wore it out into the snow. Water seeped into my boot and that had made my toes cold. I wasnt happy because I thought north face was the beat boot you could get. So disappointed also its very snug at the ankle and not the most comfortable to walk in for long periods of time. Feel like I'm dragging something. Ugh only thing good is that the boot is cute and the boot keeps your feet very warm in cold weather.

These aren't quite what I had hoped for warmth wise, specifically in the toes (my ankles are nice and cozy). I live in Northern MN, where the snow rarely melts before March and our temperatures are frequently below zero in the winter. They are quite narrow for snow boots, and I think that might be part of my problem with warmth. They hug my feet just a little too tightly when I wear my very thick wool socks and the cold seeps in. However, I think if I sized up, the length would be too big. I probably will get another warmer pair of boots next year for when I am out of extended periods, and keep these for when I am out and about. (I live in snow boots up here) As someone that works outside with dogs, they are quite durable and they have great traction in the ice. They also are not quite as heavy as other snow boots I have owned (partially because of their narrow sole) and they look great! As far as running errands and going out they are fantastic. Like I said, I just wish they were a little warmer. Bottom line: If you are in a climate that generally stays above 20 degrees or looking for boots to walk around town in, I would highly recommend these. If your like me, where temps are frequently below 20 degrees and you are outside for extended periods, I would keep looking.

These boots are very comfortable and good for a short commute, however I found that the insulation was not great. If I was outside or standing in the snow for any longer than a few minutes, I lost feeling in my toes from the cold. To make them bearable when I was in Vermont, I used stick on toe warmers to help circulate the heat.

I'm looking for something that will handle my 1.7 mile walk from the train to the office in Chicago... I usually run a size 9, and these were so small with regular dress socks on that I am trying to figure out if i should exchange for a 10 or skip right to a 10.5. For a winter boot, i expected them to be a tad wider as well. They definitely are snug. I like my boots a bit roomy, but this was crazy small. My toes were literally pushing the front of the boot and bent a bit at the knuckles just standing still. They seem like a decent boot, though a bit weighty. Really pretty cute, and the sweater cuff is not only cute but super soft for walking. it won't rub all the skin off the back of your legs like wearing a rain boot. Thanks Zappos for the return and shipping policies, so i can try some more sizes.

Unfortunately I never tried the boot when I realized it had no zipper. I must have selected the wrong style. Although they are cute! I will return them

Too high for regular, every day use and walking around (grocery store, between car and work, etc.) and do not feel warm enough to use for actual snow activity (hiking, playing outside with the kids, snowmobiling, etc). So basically they excel at nothing and for this reason are going back. There is nothing wrong with them though. Good quality, nice look. Just need to pick a direction.

I like these boots because they are relatively comfy while keeping laces loosely tied, and they keep my feet warm and dry. What I do not love is that they are not as aesthetically cute as other boots and laced up, they hurt my ankle.

This boot looks great and was a fair price, the tongue will not let snow in either. My biggest issue is my toes get cold, and they do not have the best grip on snow/ice.

I really like these boots for everyday duties like, shoveling/snowblowing or errands. But not for a long period of time. I was out for about an hour in cold weather and my toes were freezing. They did not keep my feet warm. They stayed warm for only about a half hour. Other than that, I do like them.

I absolutely loved these, but there were just too many eyelets which made these a hassle especially with cold fingers. I wish that the North Face would make this style but with the ease of the Nuptse Purna boots.

I was looking for a cute, fashionable boot to wear around town and to work. These boots are fairly warm. However, they are definitely more of a winter boot than I was intending. My feet have EXTREME problems with being cold, and these boots do a pretty good job. My feet start out cold, but warm up eventually. I wish they had a bit more insulation in the toe/foot area. The portion that covers the ankle/calf area is very warm. They look pretty cute, but like I said, definitely look like a winter boot. I was intending for a more fashionable look.My biggest complaint is that they seem very baggy in the ankle area. I have to tie the laces really tight in that area in particular. They seem baggy there, and yet, somehow are still kind of difficult to take off. I ordered a half size up and am glad I did. The right boot seem in the toe hits my toes sometimes. It's like there is a ridge in that boot, but not in the left boot. I wore them out before realizing this, or I would have sent them back. I am keeping them since I realized I do really need this type of boot too, but will continue looking for a more fashionable boot, too.

I am returning these boots due to the fit, though I think they are so cool. I think a fair warning is that the amount of cushion seems to cause the heel to slip pretty significantly, as if there isn't a really secure spot for the foot to settle in; at least for me. They were buttery soft and comfortable, and a little heel slip is necessary in a boot; but my 10.5 were not too large (toes actually hit the front), and it felt like I had on too much boot, like my foot would come all the way out if not for the tightly laced shaft. Other reviewers really love theirs, so this is of course one biased account. I'm sad about it, though. The forever hunt for a sleek, easy and warm boot, to wear on my Chicago commute, is back on.

I reeeeally wanted to love these, but I couldn't keep them on for more than a couple minutes. My toes felt extremely claustrphobic in them. My feet do run a little on the wider side, but I rarely have issues with shoes. I got these because I read they weren't super narrow, but they were way too narrow for me. Also, I have muscular calfs, so these didn't tighten up much when tied and as a result just didn't look as flattering as I hoped they would. I maybe could've tried a half size up, but I already went with the higher end if my typical range (9 when I'm typically 8.5 or 9). Any bigger would've looked ridiculously big, have been too heavy, and wouldn't have alleviated either width issue. Returned and got some timbs instead that I adore.
