I chose these boots to wear outside with my daughter, and to go snowshoeing and hiking in the woods. I had faith in The North Face, but am extremely disappointed. As soon as the boot get cold, my feet are frozen. They do not insulate whatsoever. I can stand about 6 minutes in the snow in minus ten before I have to go in and put other boots on. I might as well be out in sneakers. I will never buy shoes from The North Face again or recommend these for anything but wearing casually.

Love this boot, however it runs small. I ordered a 7 my normal shoe size and had to return for larger 7.5, still too small, so returned again for an 8. One good thing Zappos makes the return exchange process extremely easy. Kudos to them.

These boots are super cute, but after wearing them twice, the rubber around the ankle becomes less rigid and the rubber caves in around both ankles. I have circulatory issues and would not wear them ever again.

I bought this boot in August while I on vacation in Coloardo. They are very cute and stylish. Although they were more than I would usually spend on a pair of boots I trusted the Northface name and assumed they would be a good quality boot. HOWEVER, it is now november and I'm back home in Michigan. I just wore them for the first time and my toes froze!!! I was outside for no more than 20 minutes and my toes were painfully cold. I was walking outside on a shovled paved sidewalk, not even in the snow. It completly ruined my evening and the fun I would have had at the event if my toes were not freezing. I would not recommend these for a winter boot.
