My wife loved it.

My only complaint with these boots is that living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I didn't find them quite warm enough. The rubber sole picked up on the cold of ice or snow pretty easily if I spent a lot of time standing outside. I ended up taking out the insole and replacing it with a thermal insulating insole, which solved the problem. If you are in an area with less intense winter, I don't think you will have the same issue. Otherwise, they are super comfortable, easy to fit big thick socks in, waterproof, and cute! I could do everything in them from go to work, ride horses, to take the dogs for a walk in the winter. They were my go-to winter boots. Very sturdy and you don't have to worry about tripping or slipping, either!

I wondering if this stretchable?

Love the boots! I have yet to wear them out in the snow but when it starts to snow I'll be sure to try them out. They are super cute and comfy to walk around in.

Warm, sturdy boots. Run a little big. I got the 7.5 but could have gone down a half size. More room for some extra thick socks through. I would buy these again but I expect these boots will last for many years.

I work in a meat department at a grocery store, lots of water and such. The work great so far.

I really like this product. You can tell they are durable and very warm for cold winters and the only thing I would say is they are stiff and hard to take off but not too much of a struggle. Overall, I would recommend these boots to any buyer.

I liked the original style much better; shorter, Lighter brown, more knitting at the top!

Love it's in balck, goes with everything

Great boot at a great price. Caught them on sale and well worth the price. Warm, comfortable. Little stiff in the forefoot but probably just need to be broken in.

As I have gotten older I have had trouble with my toes becoming numb from the cold, so I was on a mission to find the right boots for my issue. I received them just before a winter blast...after wearing them in a the cold snow for many hours...they passed the test. They are comfortable and the padding on the ankle gives great support.

After being hit with the recent blizzard I decided it was time to invest in appropriate footwear for the winter storms. We received another 6" of snow just after I received the boots, and they worked great! They are very easy and comfortable to walk in, and kept my feet toasty and dry.

I am usually a size 8 for any kind of shoes and after reading the reviews here, I decided to get an 8.5 in these boots in order to allow for thick winter socks; however, no matter how much I tightened the boots, my heels would be moving up and down as I walked, even when wearing mid-weight socks. There was space for my toes to wiggle freely without feeling too loose, but this is a fit I'd want in running shoes, not snow boots. I then went to a North Face store to try on the size 8 and it fit just right with thick Thorlo socks! I'll have to disagree with some of the reviewers here and say that these boots are very true to size and account for the use of winter socks. When wearing winter shoes, sizing has to be just right because if there is too much space within the shoes, this means too much air and humidity, which results in frozen feet. I got these to go to the slopes to hike in snow and go sledding. These have passed the test in cold weather and deep snow. My feet were dry and warm, and absolutely comfortable! I cannot opinionated on durability yet as I got these just less than a month ago, but they seem to be constructed with the usual North Face quality. The only drawback I see is that it's a bit difficult to pull these on and off (reason for 4 stars). I have a pair of Santana Canadas whose design is perfect in that they do have laces to tighten the boots, but there is also a side zipper to make it easy to put them on and off. I love this design and when I am in a hurry, I favor these to go out, but the Shellista II is superior in warmth and ruggedness and I'd use nothing else for long periods of time in snow and cold weather. As for looks, I find these cute and much less bulky than many of the same style of boots from other major brands. This was one of the reasons why I chose these boots because I really don't like the bulky, construction style of other boots. In general, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

These shoes are stylish and warm. They are a little tight and require a few wears to become comfortable. But other than that, I've really enjoyed them.

These boots are cute and efficient. Great for snow and rain. They are a little tight, but I think they will get worn in and be perfect. Super warm and keeps my feet dry.

I have yet to fully test out my new boots but I have worn them around the yard while doing some yard work and they were very comfortable. For coming up to mid calf they are not to stiff at all. Great for walking and can easily kneel down. I bought these boots for Iceland so I am very excited to wear them.

So comfortable, today is my first day wearing them, they fit perfectly and true to size, like they are made for me. So far they are warm, and I am wearing thin socks, they look pretty fancy and cute, I am wearing them in office since i work in construction site. They are bouncy that i really like. They look even batter than in picture Great gift and looking forward to wear them as long as the winter will last.

These boots came in handy with the most recent blizzard! They are a little snugged, with the right socks you'll be fine.

Bought these after looking for some other boots. I was really pleased with these boots. So much so I wanted to write a review which I do not do. Just shoveled 30' of snow and my feet were warm and dry! I would recommend these to others.
