Bought these for my daughter who is in college up in Rhode Island. She loves them. My wife and 2 other daughters tried them on, and they all want them too.

The laces are a little too short but the design has excellent ankle support and is marvelously water resistant and warm.

Everything is good about this boot. It is stylish, waterproof and warm. The only this thing that it is a stiff, hard boot. But other then that I give a plus

Great cold weather boots, very warm. Comfortable shoes and color is very neutral. Light weight winter boots. I would definitely recommend specially if you live in a very cold area.

Super cute boots!! I love the style and quality, but they are challenging to get on and off. It would help if there was a loop to pull on in the back.

Can’t say I love them, but I needed boots for walking my dog in harsh Michigan winter and I narrowed down on this style. Overall comfy, warm and not too clunky, I can’t say anything about traction because I wear them with yaktraks. One complaint I have is they are quite difficult to take off.

I was so excited to get these but got them and they were a half size to small ( with thin socks). I called to exchange but they were out of the next two sizes up that I could try so I had to reorder elsewhere. I got a half size bigger only because I don’t get a lot of snow and don’t wear super thick socks all to often. They fit perfect. If you get a lot of snow and wear thick socks I would suggest going a full size bigger. They are super cute and comfortable.

How lucky can one woman get day one and I get to kick-up a little dry, wet snow testing out my new boots while shoving a little white staying positive to explore and stay outside. The boots run one size up (I normally wear a 7 and purchased an 8) and are fashionable, durable, classy for years to come. They are wide enough and the form of each boot seems equal keeping me balanced, and the mid height of the boots fit my calves just right and doesn't restrict movement or cut off my circulation. The variety and mix of materials (rubber/leather) used kept my feet dry. The boots are not too heavy offering lightweight and comfort to walk in. The soles offer pretty good traction; however, when I stepped on some ice on the asphalt driveway I did slip. I selected the Dachshund Brown/Demitasse Brown because the brown undertones, green and cream embraced my trend for a make-me-smile and shout I like them. I do like the Faux Fur knit design used because it adds a feminine touch; however, I did not have my jeans tucked into the boots but rolled on the outside so the material got wet and made my calves cold and got me thinking about design because it never stops exploring for improvement. Thus, I ask is it possible that a polyester material (for example, my London Fog Coat) could be used since it is more moisture wicking and waterproof and the material dries quickly (or perhaps another mix of material) in place of the Faux Fur knit but still attractive using a suitable color and simple decorative composition for women to want to buy allowing movement without restriction? I would recommend the Shellista II Mid Boots to a friend as I envision greatness to wander with pleasure and thank you for allowing me to provide feedback keeping it cool to spread the word and importance of protecting your feet to winterize your smile to never stop exploring. 01/13/19

Color of the duck green/wrought iron wasn't exactly as pictured. The picture makes it look more of a light grey but the boots came and they are a bright green. They are very pretty but just won't go along with my winter jacket which is also a forest green color. Trying the plum kitten grey/phantom grey so I hope these go better with what I'm looking for. Boots run relatively small, I am usually a 10 and I bought these in a size 10.5 and can even fit in 11 with a thicker sock. They are warm and will be great on my upcoming trip to Iceland. The price for the boots is better than asked and I will definitely get use out of them with the Boston winters.

After using them for a month they began to squeak too much. I saw another girl with the same ones and hers were very squeaky as well! It can be very embarrassing walking around like hat in public..

I have narrow, size 10.5 feet. Initially I had I bought Joan of Arc in my size and found them to be too wide and clunky. These by no means are small on the foot (I felt like I had HUGE feet in them) but I was able to walk around a cold day in Scotland without tripping over myself. The warmth factor on these are no joke. The more you move, the hotter your feet get, and I naturally tend to have cold feet. These definitely are better for moving around in straight snow because of that, and they work perfectly! Of course I had to find some deep snow to trudge through in these and they held up well, I didn't feel any snow soak through or get in the boot. Now, I slipped once in these, but I was walking down metal stairs that had ice, so I don't really think that counts. As for the fit, they are true to size length wise, and, for me having narrow feet, they weren't overally wide, only a little wiggle room. If you're trying to wear thick socks or have wider feet, you may want to go up half a size, but the warmth factor of these definitely doesn't require thicker socks.

I REALLY wanted to love this boot and although there are many things I did like, I just couldn't get past the toe shape (just not for me). They were comfortable and were the editor's choice for the Outdoor Gear Lab site. I ended up fitting a half size bigger than I normally wear.

Initial fitting seemed small but I did have thicker socks on which I would be wearing with these boots. I work outside in the cold snowy weather. Like most boots if you keep walking your feet should stay warm.. I'm still up in air...feet have got cold but im also a big fan of toe warmers (foot warmers good also). Other con reviews on this boot are the laces...yes you need unlace more than some others bit if uhh unlace half of boot and only lace every other so much better. Does not interfer with fit.

Overall these boots are a good purchase. They are soft and comfortable- the footbed feels like a pillow. I like the warmth and softness up the calf. I love that the laces are long enough to provide for lots of adjustment, which means they will fit a variety of calf sizes as well as allow for quick on/off if you just need to run outside for a short time without lacing them up all the way. My only complaint I fear is that these boots aren't going to keep my toes warm in the snow. Right now I'm fine being out for about 10-15 minutes walking around with my feet submerged in the snow, but any longer than that and I realize how cold my toes have become despite wearing thick socks underneath. It looks like I'm going to have to wear a liner and toe warmers in addition to my socks if I want to take these out for a hike or snowshoeing anywhere. But, I don't feel like it's a deal breaker considering how great they look and how comfortable they are.

When I tested them in the house, these boots were comfortable and warm. Have a snug, secure fit with room to wiggle toes even while wearing thick ski socks. Hope the traction is as good as reviews. Bring it on, Winter!

I bought these for for the cold winter days up in Tehachapi, California. We get snow a few times a year. Because I have a bad knee, I wanted a snow boot that would be good for traction while I walk and play with my dog in the snow. These did the trick. When I have walked on ice, I have not slipped. These shoes help me walk confidently in the snow and ice. It gets down to about 30-32 degrees here and these boots have helped keep my feet warm. They do seem to run about a size big. I wear a wool sock with my size 9 boot and still feel like they are a bit wide. I could have gotten away with an 8 or 8 1/2. I have gotten compliments on the appearance of these boots. Some cold days, I wear them for warmth and comfortableness. They look good with my skinny jeans and loose sweaters.

I ordered my normal size and had to return these for a half size bigger, which fit well. These boots seem to be made for people with narrow feet. They are difficult to unlace but are comfortable like a tennis shoe. I have worn them in the snow and they are warm and dry!

I did not think these were comfortable to walk in. They didn't flex well with my foot. I also felt like the toe box was too wide.

My wife reports they are comfy and cute - I would agree to the latter. Holding up well to the urban NE winter (if you want to call it that) and keeping feet dry.
