Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Great base layer. I wear it right next to my skin and it is soft and very warm.

I wear this all winter; wear it out for casual evening with jeans or skirt & boots. Awesome. Washes well, good for travel. Wish there were more colors.

I live in pa and wear shirt almost daily in the winter. If it was priced lower and more colors it would get more. The burgundy color is perfect to wear as a shirt as well as layered under clothes. I want to get more for all the members of my family.

I used this base layer when I went snowboarding and it was -35F with windchill . Nnedless to say I was warm throughout the whole time! It truly is the most comfortable base layer I have ever worn and the warmest! You will not swear since the merino wool regulates your core body temperature. I honestly would buy one in ever color if I could. they are super cute too.

I love this shirt! I have purchased three of these and I wear them under other clothing as long jonns, I wear them alone or as a layering t-shirt with a vest. The merino wool is lightweight, and breathable, but also very warm. It has a very nice fit that is snug, but not tight. I am 5'10", 135 pounds and I wear the medium. The arm length is perfect for my long arms.
I'd also recommend:

I have a job that involves working in the great outdoors. This shirt takes me from the office to the forest comfortably. I wear it as a layer for hiking and snowshoeing, but I also love to wear it around the house or on weekends.

Have worn this as a stand alone, as well as layered on chillier days. Looking forward to wearing it when I go skiing. Love my Smartwool!

I wear Smartwool tops daily in winter and consider them my go-to wear. The colors and shape and fit are consistently awesome. I give this top as a gift yearly to a 30 year old female and she uses it daily in cold weather as well. She enjoys the colors. I also use Smartwool thermals for snow activity and summer backpacking nights. I have purchased other outdoor brands for tops like this one and by far Smartwool is the best material, fit, and color.

When my daughter-in-law asked for a perfect underwarmer, I knew exactly where to go: Smartwool. She loves it. A great deal! And I knew I was giving her a garment that would not only perform as promised but wear well for several seasons.

I bought this shirt to have as a warm baselayer for winter hiking and camping as well as for shoulder season hikes. So far, however, I have only worn it for everyday and work. It is flattering, comfortable, and stylish enough to be used as a sweater for any occasion. I am 5'8 and 160lbs, athletic build. I bought this in a large and it fits, although it is a tad loose. The medium probably would have been a tad tight (especially in the winter with my extra "warmth" weight). It is worth noting that it was a bit itchy when I first got it. After the first wash, however, that wasn't a problem; it softened and is not at all itchy.

This shirt is very comfortable. It is great for layering. I wore it in Lake Tahoe, tons of snow. It was good under my jacket with a scarf too! It is warm and not itchy.

Love the fit and the material. I already had one from a decade ago. I chose the blue heather. The color is less vibrant than in the photo. More a blue jean kind of color. So fine for a basic layer.

I really wanted to keep this, but the arms are way too long on me. So sad, I am petite and wanted this as my base layer cycling but so much fabric in arms makes wearing another 2 layers on top cumbersome, so I had to return it

I have worn this base layer around the house and for casual outdoor activities, so haven't put it to a real test yet. But so far I love the color and how it fits. Sometimes base layers can be sooooo skin tight that they are uncomfrotable to wear on their own, but this one is not like that! It is flattering and fits great, and is soft and warm. The only thing I am concerned with happening is the cuffs/sleeves stretching out if I pull them up, as they are already a bit loose. But not a deal breaker, and would not discourage me from wearing it. Overall, nice baselayer and excited to test it out in Iceland in the spring!

I like the look and feel of this top. The Smartwool baselayer pants that I have in this style are warm and cozy; I assume the top will be as well. If you have highly sensitive skin, you may feel a slight itch, but it's not bad.

Really comfy. Not super thick but warm enough for a base layer. Only con is that every little dog/cat hair clings to the fabric like crazy.

I like this shirt a lot, it is soft without being too fleecy or making me sweaty and is warm so it is great for layering with a vest etc. I have another Smartwool long-sleeve in the same size that fits better so I feel like this thermal in particular fits small

This is my second classic thermal. These shirts do really well at keeping me warm. I would really like one in hot pink.
