I have had these boots in the wine/burgundy color for 2 years now and finally got just ordered the black version. I looked for other similar boots but in the end these won!

I have a wider foot and I originally tried the regular Troopa. They fit, but they were tight and I probably would’ve had to wear them a lot to break them in. So I decided to try the Troopa2.0. They’re so much better! I wore them for the first time today and there was no adjustment period. They’re comfy and cute and I want to wear them every day of the fall/winter!

I've read the reviews that say the Troopa 2.0 runs a bit larger than the Troopa and decided on purchase the Troppa 2.0 for that reason. I opted for the wide option, since I have bunions and wide feet. The extra width helps me not be in pain. The first pair arrived super quick but had a weird squeaky sound for every step I took wearing them. I called Zappos customer service, which was excellent. The exchange process for the new pair was painless and my new boots are squeak free.

I love this boot. I bought it in cognac. I wear them all the time, in all types of clothing, but mostly casual dresses, skirts, and with leggings. I'm in my 50s and they look great with whatever I wear - timeless.

The original Troopa has been my daughter's go-to boot for years, and she has gone through several pairs, always in size 10. In the Troopa 2-0 the 9.5 fits her (she wears a 9.5 in most shoes). The new sole design seems to be an important improvement, and we are hoping to get longer wear out of each pair. This is a great, comfortable boot (maybe 3 days break-in) that goes with almost everything. Highly recommend.

Love these boots. This is the second pair I’ve ordered. They are very comfortable and can be work with jeans, leggings and dresses. I’m still wearing the first pair, which I bought over 2 years ago, because I was afraid they may be discontinued. That is the reason I went ahead and bought a second pair. I highly recommend these boots.

My daughter has had these boots for a while, and every time I see her wearing them, I want them. I finally caved and ordered them. I usually wear a 7.5 wide, but if wide is not available, I order an 8. These fit perfectly and were comfortable from the first wearing; no break-in required. I feel I can walk for miles in them. I think I'm going to order a second pair because I know I'm going to wear these out.

These Troopa's were a first to my shoe collection as I'm def. a "cute flats" kind of girl. I can't tell you how much I adore these boots -- the subtle round tip of the shoe makes this sooo easy for me to wear with a grunge/military ensemble or even a lounge floral dress! I honestly thought I'd return these, but they have truly become a fall staple in my wardrobe. <3

Walking on clouds! Absolutely love these and I also own the black pair. Ordered a 7 1/2 in black which I now need thick socks because they do stretch. Got the stone pair in a 7 fit great!

These Troopas are a little different from the original ones, in a good way. I had a 6.5 in my first ones but ordered a 6, my true size, for these. The difference is minimal to me.

I am really digging these boots! I wear these at work and am on my feet all day and I find these pretty darn comfortable. After having them a week I did buy some gel insoles but that's only because I wear them standing forty hours a week and want their extend their life. The leather is very soft not rigid like some boots and I do find that these are true to size. Lastly these boots fit my not so slender athletic ankles which is sometimes difficult with zip up boots such as these.

I already own these in black and so unsure about ordering this color in the number two version. Was there that much of a difference from the original? My original pair in black fits true to form, I should have ordered a half size up though, but I still wear them, they are really cute and really comfortable!

This is my second pair of Steve Madden Troopa boots (first was the Troopa1) and I LOVE them. I wore the others so much I wore them out. The fit is perfect. I always get blisters on new shoes and didn't on these at all. Sturdy, comfortable and high quality!

Bought these for my teenage daughter. She loves this shoe and has already gone through several pairs. She has narrow feet so the shape of the shoe and the lace-up feature makes it really comfortable for her.I'm thinking of getting a pair myself.

I love these boots. They are well made and look better than in the picture. I ordered half a size larger than I normally wear and I am glad that I did. They fit a little small.

My daughter is a true 8½, but has a high instep. Her feet are tall and she could not get them on. We ordered a 9½ - fingers crossed! She wore her first pair all over Europe until they fell apart. She wishes that they still came in a washed-out grayish/black color. And the new soles are much thicker. Maybe they did this so they would last longer?

These boots were made for walking... Or standing or sitting or whatever. Seriously great, an improvement on previous version with a sturdy tread. I'm actively on my feet teaching all day long and love these boots. Might consider adding a padded insole if you like a more cushiony footbed.

Bought as a birthday gift, daughter loved them! She normally wears 7.5 or 8, bought these in an 8 and they fit perfectly.

Loved a lot about how these boots looked. The simplicity, the heel height and traction on the sole. I ordered the Timberland Savin Hill as a back up. My feet are a little wide - yet I do frequently wear regular or mediums comfortably. The Troopa 2 is definitely too narrow for me. Will be returning it and keeping the Timberlands. Liked the Troopa 2 a lot though. If it had been comfortable I would have kept it.

Pretty true fit; maybe order a 1/2 size up. I usually take a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8 and they fit well. They are well made, pretty good arch support. They smell wonderful, like leather should! Zipper on side allows you not to have to lace them up! Good with skinny jeans or boot cut. Decent price. I would order again.
