The jacket is very lightweight, not at all bulky. It does a very good job of block8ng the wind and keeping you warm. Sizing was great, fit perfectly. Not an artic expedition jacket but perfect for actual everyday life.

This ski jacket has the shiny inner lining, it is capable to withstand extreme cold conditions. I wore only a t-shirt under this jacket in -20 weather, and I was warm. I am also 6'7" and got the XLT size, it is the best fitting jacket I have ever worn, long enough in the arms and waist. Highly recommend this item to anybody that works or has fun in cold weather conditions.

Bought this jacket for my trip to Glacier National Park to go snowmobiling. I was comfortable the entire time. It was in the 20's and with the wind chill probably a lot colder than that. I was dry and warm. I could not have asked for a better jacket.

I read all the reviews on this product before buying and they all gave it a 5 Star, which I agree whole heartily. Glad I had this jacket on a recent trip, woke up 2 mornings to 4 degrees and 11 degrees with wind chills way below zero. This coat is much lighter weight than I would have thought. Only complaint is that I wish it had more pockets, but that seems to be the style with all the brands now.

Bought as a gift for my son in MT. He loves it! He say's it fits great and is plenty warm. He is 6'4" and 185lbs says the lg tall is perfect in length. All and all a great purchase!

I ordered this jacket for my husband to use while he's snowblowing our long driveway in MN. He loves it...says it protects him from the elements very well.

Does exactly what it says in the description. I'm a tower tech and Most of the time we're working on sites that is up in the coldest areas in Yreka. Keeps me nice and toasty. I will definitely be coming back to purchase more Columbia roduct sweaters and Jackets.

Bought this jacket and one similar for work. I work night on the docks so it can get chilly. Originally bought a size bigger but had to return it and get a smaller size and it fit amazing. Comfortable, warm and movable. I was concerns with being able to move freely as I worked but the jacket was amazing.

Excellent quality and amazingly comfortable. The inside has the shiny heat-shield instead of fleece or other liners, was a little worried it would cling to skin but is probably the most comfortable I've owned..... very easy to to get on and off and also very warm with none of the bulkiness or added weight like most coats. I usually take my coats off while driving but this lets u move around very easily without u getting too warm. The first time I wore it outside it was -1deg F on an extra cold, windy Indiana night and was perfectly comfortable and warm with only a hooded sweatshirt underneath. It also does a very good job at blocking all of those strong, cold winds. The extra stretch cuffs just inside the outer adjustable Velcro cuffs keep the wind and cold out much better than all my other coats too. This coat also has very nice extra large pockets to hold all your things and still have plenty of cozy room for you hands even w gloves on, just wish it had an inside as well but I guess the outer chest pocket makes up for it. I'm 6'8" and 320lbs, I was considering getting the 3xlt but opted for the 4xlt which I'm very happy I did. If you're not "athletic" I'd suggest going a little larger especially if you wear sweatshirts or layers, but overall this coat fits perfect!!! I almost went with the black but decided to go with the grey outter super blue inner and couldn't be happier. This is a beautiful and stylish well made coat. The only thing I might change is making the tall size maybe 2" linger but it's still long enough without it. Overall, I'd highly recommend this coat to anyone.....exactly as described and much, much more. I've just become a customer for life, especially since they have the larger, tall sizes.... excellent job Columbia, keep it up!!!!!

This fits my 6'3" 210# athletically-built son very well! It's his first ski jacket that fits his long arms- couldn't be happier! Yay!

I have been a Columbia fan for years and I thought I would try one of their jackets this winter. I love the warmth this jacket provides, it's not only waterproof but it provides a great sheild from the wind.

I got the jacket 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with it. It keeps me warm and dry and is very lightweight. I got the graphite / super blue color and I LOVE THE COLORSSS I'm super happy I chose this color .The quality is second to none. You get the quality that is expected from a columbia jacket. I highly recommended!!!!! Thanks Columbia for not dissapointing me and for having a big and tall line for guys like me, unlike other brands. THANK YOU!!! Will definitely buy more jackets from you this my second one and whenever I go into the market for another jacket Columbia will be my first option.

This is my third Columbia winter coat, and it meets the expectations I had for it. I'm a big guy, and it fits perfectly. I appreciate the little touches like the inner cuff and snow skirt, and the many usable pockets. We've already hit below zero wind chills here in the Adirondacks, and it's kept me comfortable. Definitely would recommend.

bought this for its functions as a skiing jacket. I really like the hood it is what my last jacket was missing and the storage pockets are plenty on this alpine action jacket. also notable is this jacket is thin but warm it has very little bulk makes big movement easy

Very nice jacket and fits well, just tried it outside in -10 wind chill and worked very well at blocking the wind and keeping warm while shoveling snow.

I was looking for a non-bulky, warm jacket and this one fit the bill. It keeps me warm, repels water and has plenty of pockets for all my needs.

The coat is nice however I forget that when you order a tall, often times it is a bit bigger in the body as well. It is too big so I will return it but the length was good for my 6'5" son.

Fits well. Nice long sleeves. Not very thick but yet quite warm.

My eldest son is a big guy, 6' tall, and needed a new winter coat. I looked at other jackets, but this one appealed to both of us. When it arrived, it was exactly as advertised in the coloring and it fits him well, with room for a sweater if he wants one. The omniheat reflectors keep him warm enough to just wear a t-shirt!!! We're very happy with this coat

Very pleased with this jacket especially that it is available in sizes for tall. Excellent quality and sizing.

Very warm but light. Work well in cold or wet weather. A little warm for warm weather. Like how it wraps around waist to keep warm and dry, same for arms/wrists. Plenty of zip up pockets. Hood also keeps your head nicely warm and dry.
