I was looking for a lightweight but warm jacket to replace my 3 in 1 and this had been and excellent choice. Though I live in Southern California I do travel back east and overseas as well as we do have mountains here so I needed a jacket that I could travel with and still keep me warm. I really appreciate that I could get it in a tall size as I have issues with normal sized jackets the arms are not long enough. I also like the style and have been asked about it. Definite winner

My husband loves this jacket! he says it keeps him warm even in 15 degree Chicago weather. Great quality and materials.

This is a very nice coat. I am big, 300lbs, and tall, 6'-4", and a 3xT is a great fit. I think 2x would have done it but I like a roomy coat. The cuffs have a nice spandex like liner to keep the cold out. The only complaint I have is the stiffness of the collar.

This is by far one of the best winter coats that I've ever own. It's super durable, very light but, heavy insulated. It's rain resistant & holds a secure security pocket. I Absolutely Love this jacket.

Nice fit with space for layering if needed, not bulky, excellent hood which fits nicely over ski helmet. Overall I'm very happy with my new jacket.

The fabric has a nice, high quality texture and looks great on. Very warm. It is a little heavier than expected but it's great for cold days.

I just purchased the Jacket (July). Still waiting to put it thru its paces , cold weather and rain. Being a big guy I have the tendency to perspire a bit when walking and hiking I am hopeful that this jacket will help keep dry better than some other jackets I own. I purchased a size bigger so I can wear sweaters with the jacket.

Great jacket for skiing. Im 6'1" 250Lbs athletic build. I would always get a XXL to fit my 37 inch arm length but jackets would be too baggy in the body. The XLT fit me perfectly. Ive had this jacket out in weather ranging from mid 40's to low teens and it does a great job. Minimal layering underneath needed. snow and moisture wick away from the fabric. Very happy with this purchase.

I got my jacket a while ago and after some time with it and really one of the best decisions I've made. It keeps your body warm in really cold conditions (especially when that cold snap occurred here in the Midwest). I am really glad to have gotten this item when I did.

I read the reviews first and made the choice, glad I did it fits well and I used it during the rain storms we just got and worked wonderful for the rain and the warmth with out having to wear layers. I would highly recommend this jacket.

This jacket is incredible. I can't believe how lightweight it is for the warmth it provides. I blew snow in it for 2hrs. with the temp at 4eg. f. and never got cold. Also I never got sweated up because it breaths. The tech in this coat is amazing. I would never have believed that Omni Heat ( silver dots) could be this warm. Just buy it, you won't be sorry.

I bought for my adult son who is in a wheel chair. I can't have anything too long or it will bunch up. This one was perfect. Not bulky at all which is what I needed also but cozy warm and I wanted a hood. This fit it all. I had another Columbia Jacket that I happened to get at least 5 years ago but didn't have a hood. These jackets wash up perfect and look like brand new. So pleased. Love the color.

I was replacing a Columbia jacket that is well over a decade old. At my size, Columbia is the best fit and I own several of their products. This coat is an excellent light weight but can keep you warm in exceptionally cold days option. Forecast is for 0 degrees Fahrenheit tomorrow and I have no doubt it will be warm enough for getting to and from parking to the office. Only constructive comment is that I wish it either had no hood at all, or the zipper that attaches the hood was hidden better on the jacket. I just don't like hoods on jackets.

The coat I recently purchased is high quality and super fit. The purchase was made for a dear friend who has mobility issues. It is difficult for him to reach back and find a sleeve. The interior lining is such that it is very easy for him to put on. It keeps him warm but is not bulky.

This is a very warm, good fitting, and comfortable jacket. I highly recommend it.

love it! It's so perfect for someone who is 6'8" tall. The sleeves are long enough, the body is long enough, the weight is light, and color is exactly as shown (got the bright blue XLT).

I bought this jacket last year, from a columbia store. I am a city dweller and it gets very frigid in the winters here in Maryland. Since my purchase I've been waiting for the chilling temperatures to come. This jacket is light weight and very moveable which provides a great comfort. This jacket get so warm you can actually perspire while being active. That being said the only flaw I find with this jacket is it lacks side/ pit vents for cooling. This is very minuscule flaw takes nothing serious away from the jacket.

Columbia does it well for me again. Wanted an insulated jacket not an interchange, I own two interchange and although I am happy with them I prefer just insulated. I have brought three Columbia jackets for my wife all three are Omni Heat and insulated without a zip out liner which is what she preferred. I wanted a similar product and the Alpine Action was it, the Omni Heat keeps me warm, waterproof sealed seams will take care of the worst rain keeping me dry. I could not be happier with this purchase. I do recommend using the appropriate detergent for cleaning and protecting the waterproofing of the jacket. Although it is lined with a membrane detergents can shorten the life of that lining.

I perches this coat around 3years ago and I loved it . So I got on Line and was so happy to find out they was still making this model with just miner changes. And I love that they added a front pocket and more shape to the waste. I truly recommend this coat:)

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend and he loves it! True to size and less bulk but yet very warm!

This jacket is a great addition to your coat closet if you are looking for a ski jacket . The black has a textured look to it making it look premium.
