Beautiful sneakers. Toe box perfectly comfy; heal too high and loose for my feet.

I have very narrow and long feet and Brooks have been my go to running shoes for years now. I either purchase the Addiction model or GTS. My most recent purchase is the Addiction 12. I find these true to size. Provide great support and comfort when running. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars overall is because I have only had for 2 weeks and waiting to see if the mesh will hold up better than my previous pair of GTS.

The wide Addiction 12 is much narrower than the Addiction 10 2E shoe that I need to replace. Sending back the Addiction 12, very disappointed. The width seems like normal width, not wide.

This is my second Pair of Brooks Addictions. I love the first pair for the color, great arch support and the correction of my pronation. Although I'm normally a size 7 in other brands of athletic shoes I wear a half size bigger in Brooks. My first pair of Addiction were a size 71/2 and fit perfect. I ordered this new pair in 71/2 and they are much wider. The support is still good but I will have to wear extra cushioned socks to obtain the proper fit.

I usually wear 11.5 but had to order a size 12 for length, so these seem to run short. I ordered these shoes to helpl me deal with plantar fascitis (a legacy of having torn my plantar fascia). So far, they are well-cushioned and comfortable. I don'thave a lotof wear on them yet, so can't give a full report.

These are very comfy walking shoes, but for running or aerobics (burpees, jumping jacks, etc.), I think these shoes are too wide. I ordered the narrow, and also had to go up a size, but they were still too wide. I kept them for walking and running errands, as they are truly comfortable, but have to use my narrow Mizuno Wave Rider 18s (in a half size up, not a full size up) for my running and FitnessBlender circuit training workouts. If you have trouble with narrow feet, I hope this review helped you! I've tried sooo many pairs!

I have worn the Addiction for a number of years now, at the recommendation of my podiatrist. This model does not seem to have the same amount of arch support as previous models. That said, it is still a great shoe, but requires that I have my orthotics in place anytime I wear the Addiction. That's the only reason I did not give it 5 stars across all categories.

My daughter has extra large feet and it is very difficult to find her shoes that fit her. Not only did these sneakers fit her feet well, they looked stylish.

I love Brooks shoes but these were just slightly tight and uncomfortable after a while. The toe box seems much smaller than other Brooks I have had in the past.

Very comfortable shoes. I have two pairs of the Brooks Addiction 11 which I love. I am pleased with the Addicion 12 in every way. I wear an 8.5 wide. The only change I would recommend is that the shoelaces could be made a little shorter but this is not a deal breaker for me. I have decided to keep them and will continue to purchase this brand in the future. Thank you Zappo's...it is a pleasure doing business with you!

Compared to my last Nike 8.5 they seem a little bigger, but otherwise they are very comfortable.

I bought these for daily walks and runs but found them to be on the heavy and uncomfortable side (a bit of pain in my right foot too). I was going to return them but the snow and ice came and I realized they were actually a pretty good shoe for extra support and stability in that kind of weather. I'm not sure if they're going to work as a spring or summer shoe, but I think people who exercise outdoors might find them a better fit than someone who exclusively does treadmill work. Also, I bought an extra wide and went up a half size.

The color "ombre blue" looks more like dark gray, and not an attractive dark gray. I am returning them.

Awesome looking and feeling shoe when I first slipped into it. However it ran about 1/2 size too small. My big toe kept hitting the rather rigid toe box.

Great shoes. Firm arch support but with a slightly clunky look. I work 12 hour shifts and these shoes hold up to my severe over pronation.

Recently I had foot surgery and was looking for a sturdy, supportive shoe for my return to work. I am on my feet all day and was very worried about my foot being comfortable. My doctor recommended these and Zappos got them to me quickly. I can honestly say I have never purchased shoes that felt great right out of the box but these did! My orthotics fit perfectly and I still have plenty of room. My surgery was 3 months ago and the shoes I was wearing had to come off after a few hours. I put these on when they arrived and wore them the rest of the day! My foot feels great! I do agree that the style is lacking but the comfort and support makes up for that!

Overall, pretty good. Wore them out of the box for a 4 mile jog this AM. No issues, except that the shoe laces are really stretchy, and end up being very long. Double knotted and I still had to tuck in the laces. As someone who wears wide shoes and has high arches, etc, I never have had that much lace leftover, and it was a minor annoyance.

These shoes were recommended by a local shoe store because they offer good support and accomodate my orthotics. I have worn them for several years. I do need to buy them about every 6 months, as they are the only shoes I wear, and they do break down in that time.

I have an unusually long and narrow foot for a small person (5'5", 115lb)- 12AA in a running shoe and even then I have to usually add another insole to take up the space. I have been running in Brooks Glycerin which work okay but are so garish in design that I was hoping the Adrenaline might prove a worthy alternative. Unfortunately, it is still a little too wide for me. The comfort and quality are very good and the length feels identical to the Glycerin but the toe box has a slightly wider footbed with more fabric and I found my heel slipping out just too much when I tested the shoe. It is much more classic and attractive than the Glycerin but it looks like I'll be blinging my way down the street in those instead.

These shoes ran small for me. I usually wear a 10 1/2 or 11 extra wide. The 11 was too short, though the width was great. Exchanged for the 12ww and they will work. I'm still close at the toe, so no thick socks. Good looking shoes. They feel very stable, which is important to me. Thank you, Zappos, for your great return policy!

I count on Brooks shoes to fit perfectly right out of the box. No exception here, they feel like a natural fit and were immediately put in daily use. I've found that they don't last as long as other brands like Nike and New Balance, it's hard to get more than 6 months out of them. I got these mostly for the neutral color,as I am limited by choices for a narrow foot. (The bright colors of my favored Asics are just too weird for many situations. )

Lots of room in the forefoot, which is what I was looking for (sadly most Brooks styles this year seem to have removed both height and width from the toe box.) Unfortunately the padding at the heel counter was not right for me and hurt when I stood up. It might be fine for someone else. If you need a larger toe box, give this one a try, it may be perfect for you.

Same good fit. Why only one color? Will keep the shoes as they are what I need for comfort. Why only the one color?

Brooks makes the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. After a herniated disc these were the only shoes that felt good- and when I say good I mean incredibly supportive and lightweight. It has taken me 2 years to re-purchase Brooks however because the aesthetics are just not my taste. I like something streamlined without bright fruit loop colors that I can wear with my Athleisure gear. I want something all grey or all black with some white or a pop of color, not crazy multi-color angular designs all over the shoe or something that looks like a Star Wars sword fight. I have tried other brands the past 2 years but nothing feels close to this except Nike Lunarglide 7's. Finally I repurchased Brooks Addiction 12 in the Ombre Blue which truly is a grey-toned Navy with a bit more grey in the webbing. (Some websites make it look charcoal-colored which it is not). The inner arch of the shoe in white and grey tones is enormous aesthetically but feels amazing. My normal size 7 in sneakers fits in these shoes. While I don't over-pronate I have higher arches and these work well. They are smidge heavier than prior Brooks' and the Lunarglides. Hoping Brooks updates its designs for this milenium but if you're someone with back issues or neurodegenerative problems where support and stability are key these sneakers may rock your world.
