There is a spot about where your toes start where the padding just ends. Too bad.They don't live up to Brooks standards

I was disappointed in this shoe since it had so many good reviews. It is an extremely shallow shoe. I have thin, flat feet and I could hardly get my feet into the shoe with an over the counter insert inside. The toe box felt narrow as well and I even exchanged them for a larger size. The heel fit well but that's about it. I'll keep searching......

I started wearing Brooks Addiction 11 after New Balance shoes went downhill in 2013. I've never had a problem until this shoe. I have 2 of the blue ombre 12 and a hole has appeared above my big toe on my right foot. I also have this shoe in silver and no hole has formed. This happened on a couple of New Balance several years ago. I believe it's lesser quality material that part of the shoe is made from. Other than that, it's a great shoe.And Zappo's service is unbeatable.

I have worn the previous version of this shoe for a year and half without any problems but this new pair I have worn for a month and the stitching is already coming out near the toes. Very disappointed in the quality. The support of the shoe is awesome!

Sadly these didn't have enough correction for my one foot which overpronates severely. There didn't seem to be enough arch for my collapsed arch which is unusual. The toe box was nice and roomy for my wide forefeet. Disappointed I have to return them

Brooks was recommended to me by a NPA. She recognized right away I overpronate along with my PF. So I ordered these. I stand on my feet all day working in the medical field and let's just say I didn't make it two hours before my feet were killing me. Felt like I was wearing cynder blocks for shoes. No cushion what so ever and very heavy. Had to send these back. Don't know if I picked the wrong model. I have to wear a dark solid color that matches black or blue scrubs. This leaves very few options. This is also my 4th brand of shoe trying and I am losing hope. Gonna try Asics again, they seemed the best out of the four I have tried. Big Sigh.

This shoe has a strip across my little toe which rubs and hurts. When I bought the Addiction 10, there was a clear area around my little toe and this was perfect. I wish I could find the same setup in any shoe! this problem has caused me to not be able to wear many shoes! Please tell shoe makers to stop putting straps and reinforcing strips across the area where the little toe lies (or in my case: sticks out a little bit). That simple improvement would mean the world to me and open up so many other choices!

I love the fit of these shoes, but the colors are, simply put, awful - I have tried to like it, but it is not possible.

I wear an 11.5. I ordered a 12. They feel like a 10. And the toe box is low. So I tried on one shoe and sent them back. Disappointing. Never tried a Brooks before.

The insole on this shoe is very cusiony and the whole inside of the shoe is soft. However, the arch support is too far back towards the heel and hurt my foot.

Really really wanted this shoe. Tried 4 times in different sizes, but the sizing is off. It is too tight in the width. Normally I am B, but D was too tight and EE was too lose. Wish Brooks had their sizing down.

The fit is great, and the shoes are comfortable. However, I am on my third pair in 5 months. The shoes quickly get holes in the lining, and my second pair had stitching that pulled out within the first month. I am happy with the colors and prefer shoes with dark-colored lining as in the navy with purple. Brooks, please insist on better fabrics and quality control or I will be giving up! I wear narrow shoe so my choices are limited. I wear 1/2 size larger in this shoe than in other brands.

This is my second pair of Brooks Addiction. The first pair was SO good, lasted a long time, and I wanted to stick with the brand. This second pair, however, has totally fallen apart in less than 6 months. The stitching is coming out in the exact same place on BOTH shoes, so clearly a manufacturing/design problem. The stitching around the toe started coming loose first on one shoe. I had to take it to a shoe repair shop hoping it was just a fluke. Then it started coming out in another place on toe that was un-sewable, so tried some shoe glue. This was within 3 months of purchase. Now 6 months out, the other shoe is coming apart in exactly the same way. Really disappointed. I've never even had a $30 pair of shoes fall apart this fast. And I'm not a even a dedicated runner... these are mostly just used for walking around.

I normally buy Brooks Adrenaline shoes, but decided to try these instead. NOT a good idea! I am a PE teacher and being on my feet all day in these shoes was torture! I could barely walk by the end of the day. It does not have much cushioning or arch support.

I typically wear Asics, but I bought this shoe because I over-pronate and this brand comes highly-recommended for my issues. I wanted a shoe I can wear all day for shifts as a nurse. The toe-box seam came unraveled within the first week and within a month there were holes in the toebox on the seam where the mesh meets the big toe. I got these because Brooks typically gets high ratings, but I am disappointment that these fell apart so quickly considering their price point. If I pay over $100 for shoes, I would like them to last a while. They also felt "soft" like they lost a good portion of their support within a month. I was so hopeful for this shoe, but I think I'm going back to Asics.

I loved the Brooks Addiction 12 initially. I had been wearing Brooks Addiction Walkers for many years, because I needed the support to help prevent foot/heel pain. I decided to try this style for a different look. They gave me sufficient support, however after only six months the seams have split. The mesh on the shoe is very thin and stretchy. Your socks can be seen through the mesh. I adjusted to this, but soon noticed the mesh tearing on the side by my pinky toe. Now there is a dime sized hole, and the other side is starting to tear. I am disappointed in the quality, and would not recommend the Brooks Addiction 12.

These shoes are really gorgeous, but they started falling apart within two weeks. First the front plastic piece started coming away from the mesh. That was annoying, but I figured I could fix it with shoe goo. Then the inside back began tearing up. By the time I'd worn them for a month, both shoes were badly torn up inside at the heel and were unwearable. I wanted to love them because the color is very attractive - subtle dark grey, not bright orange, pink or purple like most shoes of this type. They also fit me pretty well - I wear an extra wide shoe and these are fairly wide in the toe. Very disappointing.

The fit of this shoe is great! However, the toe stopper rubber end things both came unattached within the first 3 wearings. I am not a runner, I was just looking for a comfy shoe to stand in all day at work. After that short time, they are unsightly and i trip on the floppy rubber piece.

Four months ago, I had bunion surgery on one of my feet. Since then I have struggled to find a shoe to fit my wide swollen foot. I was super excited when I first tried these on because it fit my big foot - and they didn't look as homely as some of the orthopedic shoes I've tried on. I've been wearing them for about two weeks now -- and each time I put them on, I like them less and less. These shoes are like wearing wooden boats on your feet! They are huge, stiff and HEAVY! Its difficult enough getting around or working out with a foot problem...then add these massive boxes on your feet!! If I could return these, I would! Such a waste of money. Wide shoes are great (and hard to find). These shoes are wide but they are super stiff, heavy & hard. Don't people with wide feet deserve something sleek and lightweight, too??!
