My wife has used this make and model for years. It's all a matter of finding the right shoe for your foot and activity.

My beloved ariels over corrects my "good lol" foot and the addiction under corrects my bad foot. I'm waiting for my custom orthotics to be adjusted and I was wearing a neutral shoe with pro stride arch inserts , not comfortable! Ouch screams my ankles. I added the arch inserts into the addiction which gave me the correction I was missing in this shoe and voila I'm happy! Now I have shoes if my custom orthotics are in the shop again lol Toe box could use a bit more depth and width and this shoe needs more cushion ( the ariel 16 is PERFECT regarding all these issues) but the addiction works for me now

I have had a very difficult time ordering shoes because of my narrow feet. Other than Zappos's,I don't know of any stores that can help me. My new Brooks sneakers fit perfectly and are very pretty as well. Thank you Zappos!!

Love these shoes! I tried another pair earlier this year from Brooks that had absolutely no toe room. I couldn't tell at first, so I couldn't even return them. Sigh. Thankfully, these don't have the same problem.

I have narrow feet and usually order Asics running shoes. This is the first time I've ordered Brooks. They fit similar to Asics narrow shoes. I really like the soles on Brooks. They keep you very stable.

After trying 10 pairs of tennis shoes, at least, these were the winners. They have great support and fit my wide feet and high instep. I don't need any inserts with them. I love the two tone laces and the look. They are fun, but don't stand out too much and can be worn with regular clothes, not just sweats. I'm just ordering a second pair...I don't want to risk that they'll change the style.

I've been wearing New Balance for years. Love them too. My Podiatrist said to try Brooks Running Addiction. I really like these shoes. They seem to be deeper than the NB. Comfy shoes for sure. Didn't need any "break in" at all. Just GO!!

This shoe is great! I had a previous pair I was wearing only to run in (about 12 miles per week). I love the Addiction as it is a true "motion control" shoe.

I'm not a runnner. I've had multiple surgeries on both feet and finding comfortable shoes is a priority--and a challenge--for me. These are great! They started out pretty stiff, but after a few days (and with my grocery store inserts, which provide more arch support than the provided insoles), they are very comfortable. I'm a dog trainer and spend a lot of time on my feet. I can go all day in these. Like the Brooks Ariel, these run slightly short. My normal shoe size is a 7 or a 7 1/2 or a Euro 38. I take an 8 in these.

Brooks Addiction 12 is fabulous. I'm 72 years old, and in the past I've worn Brooks Ariel, but due to some new pain in my feet, I decided to try Brooks Addiction. They are comfortable and seem to provide better support than the Ariels. During an appointment last week with my podiatrist, he noticed the Brooks Addictions, and said, "Perfect! Those are just the right shoes for you." Then he added, "I'm a Brooks guy myself!"

I love these Brooks Addictions. I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for many years and they have been very comfortable walking but these Addictions are even better! Thanks Zappos!!

Ahh heaven! Tried these on and decided to wear them the rest of the day. No break in period for the shoe or my feet. Hope they come out with lots more colors in this model - please Brooks don't change a good thing!

I like these shoes. This is my second pair if the same style. They are comfortable and seem to help my over pronating.

I have worn these shoes before in the. 11 Addition .They are the most comfortable shoe i have ever worn . They have good Support and feels true to size,great if your on your feet all day long . Ive tried other shoes and none will match up too these. Thanks Zappos's for your shoes and great services you provide for your customers .keep up the good work ! I. Have flat feet and bunions. And these shoe help with both.

There are very few sports shoes that feel this comfortable on my feet. These feel so great that I bought them in both colors. I always wear a WW shoe and these are a true WW, with plenty of room for my toes to spread out. I generally wear a 6 1/2, but I felt they were a bit snug. I went up to a size 7 and they're perfect.

I have been buying Brooks shoes for years, mostly because I have a very narrow foot and this is the highest quality shoe (perhaps the only "stability" shoe of this type) I can find to fit my feet. All was well until the latest incarnation of Addiction, number 12. I was pleased by the jazzy new shoe laces with the stripe of color to match the shoe. How nice, I thought. Unfortunately, the new ones are also very stretchy. By the time I laced them up, they were absurdly long. This required tying a double knot to accommodate the extra length. I thought that perhaps the new ones were actually longer, but they are exactly the same length (50 inches)as my old non-stretchy laces from Addiction 11. It looked like they had stretched a total of 10 to 12 inches longer than the 50 inch length. Since I didn't like the prospect of struggling with untying a double knot every time I wanted to take them off, I called Brooks and talked to Chad, who was extremely helpful. He hunted around in his desk until he found some candidates to send to me. That part is fine. But come on Brooks, did any of you test out this product? If you're going to use the stretchy laces, which I would love to insert in my shoes, you have to make them shorter!

Love the shoe but as many have stated the toe box is a bit narrow They are true to size and orthotics fit nicley

I have been looking for a long time for sneakers that are motion control, moderate pronation, and stabilizing. These are the best of the ones I've tried (which include other Brooks models, New Balance, and Asics). They give a little spring to each step, just the right amount of cushioning (not too much or too soft), and the materials are quite breathable. Highly recommend.

I like this shoe, but I ordered it because I heard that Brooks was a good alternative to Hoka or Altra as a maximalist running shoe. It is more like a normal running shoe with good support, but not very cushy and comfy like a maximalist. I will return, which makes me sad because it's very nice looking compared to the maximalists shoes (Of course, because maximalists are always clunky compared to regular running shoes, but I was hoping I could have it both ways).

I have plantar fasciitis, so this hard soled shoe with limited arch support is not for me. Back to the Asics Gel!

This is the best show I can find for my problem feet. I knew what I wanted and Zappos mail them to me without incident. Very pleased

Liked this shoe. Tried both the medium and narrow widths. Usually get a medium, but found that the narrow fit me better. Like the dark color. Nice change. Doesn't show dirt as much.

Great shoe. I usually wear a wide. Ordered the wide first and tried walking in it. Felt too tight and made the top of my foot ache! Ordered the WW and it felt so much better!!!!
