I received the Addiction 12 three days ago. I have worn addiction 10s and 11s and now the 12. Of the three, the Addiction 12 is the best fit for me. I have neuropathy and of all the shoes I own, this is the best for my condition. I do replace the foot bed liners with my choice of inserts. A necessity for any shoe that I wear due my foot problems. I am very pleased with the Addiction twelve. I have worn it for hours right out of the box. My hope is that the Addiction 13 is very similar. I will be back.

Zappos the shoe's are great the customer service is even better if that is possible. I'm so sorry for the mistakes on my part in ordering these shoes and with the three orders it took for me to get it right. As usual Zappos team made everything alright and did there best to not make me feel so stupid. Thanks again customer for life. Steve

I've had three versions of the Brooks Addiction and find it's the most comfortable shoe for me, though not stylish. The colors are fine; I'd even like an all-black version. I have a hard time finding shoes in my size--11.5 N--so I'm happy to find a comfortable shoe that fits. The toe box seems a bit narrower than the earlier versions I have but the stretchiness of the mesh helps. On a former version, I wore through the mesh on one shoe on my big toe area; hoping that doesn't happen with this pair. Easy to use with my orthotics.

Wow! They fit great! I have been looking for months for a comfortable pair of shoes to walk in. I have arthritis, so they need to be supportive. They are very comfortable, no break in time needed. I also like the cushioning yet very supportive at the same time. Have previously purchased New Balance but lately they are just not a good fit for me and I find them uncomfortable. I highly recommend Brooks Addiction!

I've worn this shoe in the past but needed another pair. I ordered a half size larger because my current shoes seem too short now. But, this half size larger just doesn't seem to hit my orthotics in the right place, so unfortunately I have to return them.

I love Brooks brand. I always buy them. But for some reason they changed their sizing. They are now a half size smaller than they used to be. Be sure to order a half size larger if you want your normal fit. I ordered this model because they come in a narrow and they fit and feel great. Once you wear brooks it's tough to switch. I also love Zappos! Geez, they are great! Love the service and the free shipping!

These are wonderful shoes. The arch support is really good. The foot bed is very comfortable and since I have a wide foot and a bunion, it works really well. Even having had back surgery it is hard to find shoes with a good arch. I'd highly recommend these.

I've been wearing New Balance shoes for years and was skeptical about trying a new style. I am happy to say that I love the color, style and especially the feel of the Brooks Addiction 12. I ordered a half size larger to accommodate orthotics for high arches and the size was just right. The first day I wore them I walked 3 miles. That's how comfortable they feel!!!

This sneakers are very comfortable. I have a narrow foot and pronation and these help a lot. I'm satisfied.

i stand on my feet at work 8-10 hours a day in a hot kitchen so i need to stay hydrated. the arches are so good on my feet that one day i didnt hydrate sufficiently and at night i had feet cramps. the only way to get rid of them is to put back on the shoes for the support. that is how wonderful the supports are in these shoes. my feet dont feel fatigued at the end of a long work day. in the past, i couldnt wait to get my shoes off when i got home; nowadays i forget to take off my shoes. i just ordered brooks glycerin 14, cant wait to try them.

These seem like quality shoes. I ordered the WW because I have large bunions but i can feel they are tight after wearing them for an hour in the house. Back to men's New BAlances.

This is my 6th Brooks Addiction over the years. I have low arched wide feet, and I have hard time finding shoes that fit me and provide comfort. I tried wide width shoes from other brands, and I decided never to do that again. I hope Brooks keep producing Addiction, so I can buy them again in the future.

These were recommended to me to help support my ankle instability. Hard to find narrow walking shoes. I have never had a pair of Brooks until recently but will definately buy again. Ordered this pair as a spare and to trade off with another pair I just bought. Nice snug (but not overly tight) fit. Plenty of toe room without being sloppy. As with a lot of running and walking shoes I had to order a half size larger. The only complaint I have is that the shoelaces are way too long. I have to tuck them in the other laces. Tying them twice doesn't solve the issue. But the way they fit and the comfort they give more that makes up for the laces issue.

I love this shoe! It was recommended to me by person who made my custom-made orthotics and said this shoe would help with stability and motion control. And so far this shoe has done this. Yes, it does seem narrow in the toe. I had Asics before and loved them but this Brooks Addiction has surpassed the Asics GT10005..I have had these two weeks and so can't comment on my toe shooting thro' the mesh but if it does I surely will be on here to 'whine'..I had total foot reconstruction and these have been a blessing along with my orthotics. I have the B width and tried the wide D but couldn't keep them tied to stay tied and rubbed my heel so went with the B. They have helped me walk and not fall all over my myself with two left feet. Am trying to get the pair with the pink 'swoosh' to have two pairs but having a hard time finding them in a B. I have happy feet at this moment :)

I have been a fan of Brooks Addiction Walkers for a number of years. My feet need to have firm support to keep my feet from supinating. Though I love sneakers the combination of cloth and rubber does not give me the support I need for my particular issues. I love the mechanics of the Brooks Addiction Walker shoes and decided to give the sneaker version a try. Since Brooks tend to run short on me (I run beween sizes), I ordered a 7.5 instead of a 7. That way I could wear these sneakers with thicker socks. I also placed a thin Spenco comfort insole (#1 size 5-6) under the existing insole in the shoe. Excellent support and stability when walking plus a bit of extra volume to boost my low volume feet. I am very pleased with the Brooks brand and hope that others will give it a try.

I bought this to replace my Echoes. They felt great right out of the box. I got the D width to wear thick socks and still be able to spread my toes.

I have bought Brooks Addiction a number of times over the years, and I think version 12 is just as good as the previous ones. I am not a runner, but I do use them for walking and for workouts. I'm definitely happy with them for these uses. And finally a shoe that's not white! This new color is pretty cute in comparison to standard white/grey/blue options, though not as colorful as some items I have seen from other brands.

The only sneakers I will wear. I have plantar fasciitis and inflammatory rheumatoid arthritis that make my feet painful and swollen and these sneakers are amazing.. I can walk my dog and stand without pain.

I have worn brooks addiction forever and the shoe never disappoints. I wore it as a runner and now as a walker. Great support and comfort. Love the color !

Wow! I have NEVER had running shoes that were so comfortable. The shoes have arch support sufficient to go without my inserts, they stabilize my foot, and feel all-around amazing to wear. I purchased the wide and I'm super happy about the entire purchase. I will definitely look for and buy Brook shoes in the future. I have planter fasciitis, and these shoes seem to help tons.

I just purchased my third pair of the Addiction 12. I have a skinny foot with a high arch. I like the arch support, but with my foot, I need to take the insole out and replace it with a orthotic-style insole. I'm sure for most wearers that will not be the case. I have struggled with plantar faciaitis and find this shoe is very stable and comfortable to walk in. It is the most comfortable shoe I've owned. The only reason I didn't rate the shoe with 5 stars for style is that I wish the colors were more fun and prettier for a woman's shoe
