I have been wearing Brooks for years as I love the support they offer. However, I have constantly been returning them after not much wear. I am returning my Brooks again...as I think the quality of this shoe is terrible. It is already showing wear and tear on the item after a month of wear. I am tired of exchanging Brooks...I am switching brands. I will never buy Brooks again.

I have been running in Brooks shoes for years. The Ghost line had been one of my favorites. The Ghost 8 introduces significant changes to the shape and feel of the shoe. The toe box is smaller. The shoe is a LOT more narrow than ever before. The plastic and mesh on the outside are much stiffer. The shoe is unwearable for me and causes immediate pain. The good news is, I just purchased the Ghost 9 and they are great again.

My first time trying Brooks and it is very likely I'll never buy another pair. The extremely thick tongue actually rubbed so much on the anterior portion of both of my ankles that it left rough patches.

I was very disappointed with these shoes. When they came to me it appeared as though they were poorly made. I could see the glue around the sole of the shoe and there was glue on the tongue of one of the shoes. The fabric was also torn on one of the shoes. I have ordered from Zappos before and I have never received shoes in this condition before. I was quite disappointed and I'm hoping I get my full refund.

Very disappointed in the Ghost 8. I have the Ghost 7 and it fits perfectly. This shoe has a much higher arch support and is very uncomfortable. I've tried wearing them around the house to see if they'll break in but no go. Unfortunately I got rid of the box (was sure they'd be as perfect as the 7) so can't return them. Wish Brooks wouldn't have changed them so much.

These shoes wore out very quickly and I was disappointed with the craftsmanship. After 4 months of moderate use, these went in the trash. I was running about 5 mi/week outdoors and the soles were worn completely smooth in some areas (meaning slipping hazard even when walking) and there were holes in the mesh. These weren't my first pair of Brooks, but I am unlikely to purchase another pair of shoes from them after these.

I usually have no issues with Brooks. However, this Ghost version HURTS my feet when I walk. The feel great when I first put them on but by the time I'm halfway through the side and area in front of my heel is numb and painful. Everything else about the shoe is typical Brooks style. Not sure why these are causing so much pain for my feet.

So ugly. So old-lady. Come on, Brooks, can't you do any better than this? At least lose the bright white stripe on the soles.

I have been a long time fan of Brooks Ghost but this shoe must be defective as the shoe was causing my left insole just behind my big toe to bleed because of a bump in the material on inner part of shoe. Also the upper is separating from the sole and you can see the glue where it is tearing away. Poorly manufactured and not tested for quality control by Brooks apparently.
