Gorgeous comfort: I'm not a runner but wanted looks and comfort for the diverse terrain I encounter. These shoes feel balanced and provide great support. I love the blend of jewel tones.

I'm a Brooks girl all the way! I buy new running shoes every 3 months or so. Each pair is often better than the one before. However, the Ghost 8 are by far the best pair so far. I usually get heal pain after a long run but not with these. The fit is great and my feet are happy!

My first Zappos purchase and I will totally use them again! My shoes were on my doorstep in two days. I also appreciated the fun tone of the emails telling me when my order was received and then shipped. As for the shoe, this is a replacement for the Ghost 7 for me (like the 7 more than the 6). I've only run about 12 miles in them but they seem to fit just like the 7 did. So far, so good, but I'm hoping they last as well as the 7 did. Feels comfortable but maybe a little heavy starting out; hard to compare because my last shoes were so worn. Love the look of these, though!

I love these shoes. I used to wear the Glycerin but began to not like the colors they were putting out. So I tried the Ghost and it fit very well. The shoe is light weight and fits great. I especially like the wide toe box.

The Brooks Ghost 8 is a beautiful, beautiful shoe. I mean functionally and aesthetically. As a matter of fact, having been a runner for decades, the first time I tried this shoe on, was the first time in years I felt that "Yes. Yes. Heaven and perfection," feeling. Like, wow, welcome home. I'm a neutral runner, no real issues. I have had the hardest time in the past couple years finding a shoe to love. So, instead of paying more money (which I don't mind at all) for "meh" shoes, I went with "okay" shoes for less money. But I continued searching for a shoe to love again. I won't go into the dozens of shoes that didn't work for me. I will say that the Saucony Omni 14 is a close 2nd to the Ghost 8, as is the Mizuno Enigma 5. But for me, there's no giving up the Ghost. Couldn't resist. This shoe runs almost a half size large, but I'm keeping it. Width is generous but true. In street shoes, I wear size 8M and ordered 9M in the Ghost. Let me say, the Peacoat color scheme is just gorgeous. A lot of thought went into it. Comfort is unmatched. I am happier than happy that I continued my search. I now believe that I can train for a half marathon without interruption due to injury or discomfort. I never ever write reviews, but this one is so worthy. If you're on the fence, or looking for a cushioned, stable, lightweight neutral shoe, give the Ghost 8 a try. With Zappos great service, you can't lose and might just win big. We must all face our Ghosts.

These shoes were exactly as I expected. I had Brooks GS shoes and bought these because I like the look. I walked 5 miles in them today and I love them. They are light and have a lot of cushion. Great shoe true to size.

I was using my Ghost7 for Zumba, fitness classes and tread work. They are a great shoe but I found the Glycerin felt better on my poor old feet than the Ghost 8.

Great shoe and very comfortable. I was wearing the Nike Free shoes and my knees were starting to hurt. These shoes provide me the appropriate cushioning and my knees feel better. I had to order 1/2 size larger than usual size in other shoes.

Great sneaker. Shaved 30 seconds off my mile. I have a wide foot and it still fit comfortable. New runners - order a half to full size up for running comfort

Thank you Brooks for keeping the Ghost consistently the same from shoe to shoe. Manufacturers usually add new features or Change the heel drop or Something minimal with each new year. I happy this go to running shoe has stayed perfectly the same! I know what I am getting when this shoe comes in the mail! Keep it real Brooks- thank you! I've been ordering my running shoes from Zappos for several years now and have been so pleased every time. They ship quickly and get to the house in only a couple days. The return process is simple and convenient with no hassles at all. Prices are very comparable to in store purchases as well.

I've run in Brooks Adrenaline and Nike Vomero, but these are my favorite by far. I'm a neutral "clydesdale" runner, with past plantar fasciitis issues, and the cupping in the heel lets me run without issue. I pair them with Carbon Superfeet insoles. I love the neutral colors. I'm so over the "loud" shoe trend. I want to wear running clothes that don't clash.

I have worn Brooks Ghost for many years, and they never disappoint. These are just as comfy as my previous ones. The size is always right on point too. I was not sure if I would like the darker colors, but when I saw them I had no doubt. I would recommend these to anyone who wants an active seeker.

These shoes felt comfortable right out of the box. Fit is as stated in the ordering info. When these wear down I will order another pair.

LOVE these shoes, very comfortable! I have long flat feet so it's very hard to find shoes that are supportive, comfortable, and look good all at the same time!

Was unsure whether to get narrow or mediums. The narrows work great! Was surprised to see material around the toe. Hopefully that won't wear. Pretty comfortable shoe!

I wear a women's 12W and was so happy to have found these shoes. The cushioning under the foot is better than anything else I tried and they are super comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone, particularly those with thinning padding under the heels and ball of the foot. The color is nice although I would have liked more choices.

Love these shoes! This is my third pair of Brooks brand shoes and I absolutely love the way they feel on my feet. This pair in particular (Brooks Ghost 8) is the best I've had yet. I bought these for running and working out in and I love how cushiony they are around the ball of my foot, yet still provide adequate stability throughout my stride. They are very supportive, but they still feel light on my feet while running. They are cute too! A bit of an investment, (the most expensive pair of Brooks shoes I've bought yet) but feel I got what I paid for and I am more than satisfied. I also like wearing these shoes to work as I have a very physical job with a lot of moving, standing, lunging, and lifting people. In the past I used to wear Saucony and then moved on to loving Asics for the last couple of years, and now lately I've loved the fit and feel of Brooks.

I've been wearing the Ghost 7 with great success for the past year or so. And as soon as I saw these I knew I had to try them. I didn't think I could like anything more than the 7 because they work so well for me but the 8 is fabulous. They're lighter, super comfortable, and I have zero toe or foot pain. I buy a half size up as I did for the 7.

I've had Brooks shoes before. I walk at least 15 miles a week. These shoes provide excellent support. No blisters. Comfortable right out of the box. I sized up a half size from my normal street shoe.

Great update to my favorite shoe! This is my 3rd pair of Ghost and the new version feels as great as my Ghost 7! This version feels a bit lighter but the underfoot is equal to my last pair. Good update Brooks!

I've had the last 3 or 4 variations of the Brooks Ghost and have loved them. They have all held up well. For some reason, this pair does not fit quite as well as they have in the past, specifically where the laces tie. It feel a little looser around the ankle. But otherwise, great and adaptable for various activities - running, weights, boot camp class, etc.

My Podatrist recommended the GHOST shoe for my plantar fasciitis. The fit feels very good and the sole helps reduce my heel pain. I like them!

The ghost is great for comfort but the mesh wears quickly for the price. Mine started to wear away after six weeks!

Not neutral. As soon as I put my foot in the shoe I could see it was severely rolling my forefoot to the outside. Walked around to verify and it is most definitely not a neutral shoe. Disappointing since otherwise it felt comfortable. Going back.
