Delightful! A light shoe, good cushioning, and it really helps my knees. Initially, I thought the shoe might be too small, but I did have a finger's width of room between my big toe and the end of the shoe. I discovered that my toe was lightly touching the outside side/front reinforcement. After wearing the shoes on carpeting for a couple hours, my foot settled in and there is no contact with the outside side/front reinforcement. I'd previously used the Brooks Pureflow's, but their latest iteration (4) prooved uncomfortable for running, though great for standing on one's feet for an extended period of time. I was looking for another neutral/slight supination running shoe. I'd considered a less expensive brand that I had used in the past. Though the other brand was good, it's nothing in comparison to the experience I've had with Brooks. As I get older (in my 50's) my aging joints require a higher quality. These are well worth the extra dollars.

They are definitely comfortable right out of the box. I am overweight and looking for sneakers to take to Disney World. I read that these are supposed to have more cushioning than the average sneaker. Although comfortable, I do not really notice a difference between these and other sneakers that I have tried. I ordered a 9½. I am normally a 9. I will let you know when we get back from our trip how these held up!

I bought these shoes in an effort to help remedy knee pain that I had been experiencing while running, and it was a great choice. They are a bit overpriced and comparable shoes can be found for cheaper but I am happy with my purchase. They offer plenty of cushion and support while not being too heavy.

I've always been a New Balance woman, but the last pair of New Balance shoes I got didn't work for me. So I checked out different brands of running and walking shoes on Zappos and concluded that the Brooks Glycerin 13 was worth a try (and Zappos has such amazing customer service, I knew that if Brooks didn't work with my foot, I could easily return them and look for something that would). These shoes are AMAZING. Comfort from the get go. Walked for hours in them. I'm not a big runner (although I do some treadmill running and a lot more indoor track and outdoor walking), and these are the best athletic shoes I have ever worn. GREAT stability. I didn't even realize I wanted or needed that level of stability, but I did and do. The heal is perfectly narrow for me. I have a long narrow (9N) foot with pretty flat, although not completely flat, arches. The toe bed area on this is wider than I am used to, but I discovered that allows for even greater comfort. I've never said this about an athletic shoe, but these shoes are PERFECT for me. I also think they are good looking. I wear a lot of black and navy, and these shoes look good and feel great. Thank you Brooks, and thank you Zappos!

I wore a hole with my little toes in my Glycerin 12's after less than 50 hours of wear only in a gym. They were incredibly comfortable and gave me good stability and traction there. I was pleased that these Glycerin 13's have a thicker fabric but the same comfort.

These are great neutral shoes. I was looking for one to use with my custom Orthotics and after trying multiple brands (Asics [no real neutral], Saucony, New Balance and Nike, these turned out to be the bomb! There is plenty of room, they are very comfortable. The only slight negative (for me) is that the heel is not as narrow as I was used to with Asics, so it slips a tiny bit, but not so much that it's a big deal. I wore a 9½ in Asics, wear a 10 in this shoe.

These are the most comfortable sneakers. I wear Brooks Addiction Walkers. It's been hard to find sneakers that have good arch support, flexibility for a neutral pronator and thicker cushioning for the bottoms of my feet without feeling 'locked' into the shoe. Some running sneakers have very thin soles so you feel the pavement under your feet. Not the Glycerin 13. There is good cushioning for the soles, excellent arch support and just enough control for my mildly pronating feet. These are quality-made shoes. I wore them all day the first day I got them and the 'spring to my step' returned. No aches or pains at the end of the day. Highly recommend Brooks shoes!

These are the most comfortable running shoes I have every owned. I've worn Asics, Mizuno and Nike previously. Hopefully Brooks doesn't change much and I will not have a need to search for any other shoe next year. There was absolutely no break in period needed. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Out of the box comfort. I have wide feet with a high arch and these fit perfect. Very light weight and supportive.

Reminds me of Mizuno Alchemy which I still miss. But these are a good second-best. Tried Brooks Ravenna before this -- flimsy construction and minimal support was unimpressive.

I have never written a product review before, but I am so pleased with these running shoes that I am happy to chime in. I have been running for a long time, and quite honestly can say I have never experienced such quality, comfortable shoes. I liked Mizuno and Asics, but I am older now and was really looking for joint protection. These Brooks' shoes feel amazing; what a difference really good shoes can make! Sturdy comes to mind, while still soft and light. The first day they arrived I tried them on and kept them on all day - energizing! I bought my regular shoe size and width - totally fine. I do not wear particularly thick socks, so I did not need to size up. Nice room in the toe box, and I do not have narrow (or a wide) feet. I really want to buy a second pair and store them in the closet so I always have a back-up at the ready (or just to wear for everyday comfort. And I love the raspberry color - adds even more pep to already excellent shoes! They are totally worth the price.

Wow, trying to find running shoes to meet my needs has been difficult, but I finally found a winner! I have got high arches, I supinate, and I have recently developed plantar fasciitis and I need a wide due to my high instep. I went back to try my usual go to shoes which include the Brooks Ghost and Asiics Nimbus, but neither felt or fit shoe however seems to fit the bill. There is enough stability in the heel to keep it aligned - but still neutral shoes, a soft in sole that does not feel like I am walking in mud, and a good fit across the toe box. I did have to go up half a size. I measure a 7C, and usually wear a 7½W in running shoes (including other Brooks), however, my toe hit the front of the 7½ so I sized up to the 8 and we have a winner! Thank goodness as for easy returns and exchanges on Zappos!

These are my third pair of Glycerin's thus far. I have wide feet and high arches and although the colors in wide are terrible, the fit is amazing. I tried to go back to Asics and had to return them because they were too snug on the top of my feet. These are perfect for running. I highly recommend paying the price even if the colors are unattractive.

I have a very difficult time finding shoes that meet my needs. I wear orthotics for flat feet/shortened tendons, and also require cushioning because I get plantar fasciitis a lot. These shoes are amazing. If you require a neutral, high cushion sneaker, they are really worth the money. I have heard that these are great for other people with various foot issues. Give them a try!

I have worn GTS series after Brooks were recommended for foot problems. This time I tried the Glycerin 13. It was comfortable out of the box and feels just as cushioned but firm. The black color is stylish but doesn't scream. Bought a 6 1/2 - usually wear a six.

Great sneakers - a bit pricey but if you have foot problems like myself they are worth the extra bucks. I also love the fact there are wide sizes.

My daughter had been having trouble with other running shoes giving her blisters. This shoe was like 'heaven' from the moment she put it on. Well worth the investment.

I was introduced to the Brooks Glycerin 12 by a specialty running store. Prior to Brooks I have been a huge Asics fan. I've ran 2 marathons and 5 halves with 2 more in the next few weeks. These shoes arrived just in time. Putting them on makes my feet feel like heaven! I absolutely love Brooks over all the Asics I have run in from Cumulus to gt series to Nimbus. These glycerin are an upgrade from the 12s. I love the 3 shade ombre color with the laces and insoles to match. I agree that they do run big. I wear a 10 in women's dress shoes, 11 in Nike and Asics but these and the Glycerin 12s are a 11.5! The fabric on the 13s are different from the 12s. Its more of a satiny, smooth versus the honeycomb like fabric. I do not regret my purchase and cannot wait for my upcoming races. They don't need to broken in either.

I am kicking myself for not replacing my old Brooks Glycerin 11's sooner. My new Brooks Glycerin 13's fit exactly the same and provide the same outstanding support and comfort. I did not realize how worn my old ones were. I am walking on air again! I highly recommend Brooks Glycerin 13 to anyone who needs a neutral platform or uses a custom orthodic.

These shoes are VERY COMFORTABLE right out of the box. I ordered a second pair to wear in the house, and the other I walk with outside. Love them!
