Just switched to the Brooks Glycerin after over 10 years of running in Asics Nimbus- wanted a cushioned neutral shoe with great arch support but my Asics were starting to feel a bit heavy. These are slightly lighter. I have a lot of trouble with bruised toe nails after long runs. My first run in these was 12 miles and I was shocked and delighted that my toes were not sore at all afterwards. In normal shoes I wear a size 5.5 but I run in size 7. The sizing was perfect and arch support was great for my very high arches. I have found my new running shoe!

More like my favorite Glyercine 10, but better. Good to know: the Glycerine 13 runs a bit shorter than previous Glycerine models. I've been wearing Brooks Glycerine since 2011 (the Glyercine 9), several pairs a year averaging 400 running miles a pair. The Glycerine 11 was a dipping low point in the series for me. The 12 a slight improvement, and the 13 seems to have brought back the feel and "ride" of the Glyercine 10 (a favorite cushy AND springy in the run!) and improvements on the previous models. It's well cushioned, heal doesn't slip, is well-balance as a neutral runner for a forefoot striker. My only qualm is the length of shoe with additional heal cup padding in now decidedly a half size shorter. I have consistently worn a 10.5 narrow for each model until now, for which I require an 11 narrow.

When I first started running several years ago, I went to a local running store and had them help me figure out the best shoe. They determined the Brooks Adrenaline was a great fit, and since then I have purchased that model from Zappos. However, the latest Adrenaline GTS 15 had some changes and I found them extremely uncomfortable and had to return. After doing some research and reading other reviews, I decided to try the Glycerin model. This is a great replacement for the Adrenaline! They are roomy in the toes, wiyh lots of cushion and support. I highly recommend the Glycerin if you are a fan of the Adrenaline!

These sneakers are above and beyond all the other Brooks models in my opinion. I have arthritic toes and knees and have to wear thick orthotics to be able to walk pain free. I have been through so many pairs of sneakers and sandals trying to find shoes that are comfortable. As soon as I put these on I couldn't stop smiling and knew I finally found my holy grail of sneakers. I need the wide width to accommodate bone spurs and wider feet and had to order up a half size with this model. Also I have learned that I needed a neutral walking sneaker as opposed to stability or motion control which makes all the difference in how they feel. I walk a lot for fitness and take Zumba classes 3 times a week. These sneakers felt great for both walking and Zumba. Thank you Zappos for being so patient with all of us who have such a hard time finding shoes. I do wish the sneaker companies would offer more colors in wide.

First time brooks buyer. I have always purchased Suscony however they started messing with the height of the heel so I thought the next best thing would be Brooks. I usually wear a size 9 but had to return my first pair because they run a little small. Other than that I love this shoe, I wore them without breaking them in and did 5 miles. Light weight but just wish the toe box was a little larger.

I love my Glycerin 12 shoes, so I bought these thinking it would be an easy switch...but the Brooks Glycerin 13 are not for me. I noticed right away that the laces seemed really short, but ran anyway. Then after a few runs I noticed the tendon on top of my foot running up to my big toe was really inflamed and painful. So I went out and bought 54" laces so I could loosen the tie. I have just given myself 2 weeks off of wearing these shoes and today ran 8 miles in them...and still find them incredibly painful. Am going to see if I can find a new pair of 12s or may go back to Saucony ISO Triumph.

Very lightweight! Lives up to Brooks quality. I bought this style and the Brooks Ghost and this one is much more comfortable. Worth the couple of extra dollars. I've worn Asics, Nikes, and other brands for running, but Brooks is the best hands down.

Absolutely love these shoes. They are comfortable from day 1, feel like slippers on my feet. I have purchased two pairs of the Glycerin 13s. Most comfortable that I have found. I just wish Brooks offered more colors in the wide width.

The Glycerin 13 is really comfortable. I've struggled to find wide enough shoes that are still girl-looking and these, in wide width are fantastic! They are holding up pretty well as far as I can tell. I run about 25 miles a week and I've had them for two weeks. A good buy for an avid runner or just a girl who needs athletic shoes.

I wear Brooks exclusively. The Glycerin addresses my underpronation issue and provides the support that my feet require. I also need shoes that are wide, so my options are somewhat limited. That said, I love the color of these shoes as well as the function.

Bought these shoes to use for Jazzercise. My feet and knees had started to ache from all the hopping and lunging. Happy to say that wearing these has helped. They have great cushion and enable me to move well on the floor. I have always been happy with Brooks' shoes (being somewhat wide in the foot makes it tricky to find comfy shoes) and these have not disappointed.

These are the most awesome shoes I've ever worn. They are supportive in exactly the right places with the perfect amount of cushion. Very light weight too. Love everything about them.

I was fitted for this model at a running store many years ago. Ever since switching I do not have much of the pain I used to experience running. I can usually get about 400 miles on these shoes before needing to retire them. I wear orthodics and there is plenty of room for them in this shoe. I have a narrow foot and with proper lacing I have no heel slip in the medium width. I wear between a 6 and 6 1/2 in regular shoes but wear a 7 1/2 in these.

Great shoe with good cushioning. I used it for running and it's held up well over the past year. A little narrow in the toe box.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes. This is my second pair. I have foot issues and although nothing is perfect, these seem to help with my doctor prescribed orthodicts. I'm very close to needing a new pair because I have worn these so much.

These are the best shoes for my wife and her high arches. Whenever she wears a pair out, we buy the new model.

These shoes are so comfy.great arch support or can easily handle an orthotic. Couldn't decide whether to order an 81/2 W or a 9 reg. Went with the 9. Kinda wish I'd ordered the W. They are great when I'm walking, but just sitting around, they seem snug. Strange. But love them.

Brooks Glycerin line - works for my feet! It's sometimes hard to find the same shoe again. So. I turned to Zappos! All it took was reading the label on my beloved old shoes and getting the closest thing to them - only new. Thanks Zappos.

This is my first pair of Brooks and they are my most comfortable shoes now. Would love to know which other Brooks models have the same footbed in order to buy some more. Thank you Brooks for a great shoe!

Very different from the Glycerin 12's, but better in every way. Same great support, but lighter and more comfortable material was used throughout. I'll be putting plenty of miles in on these.
