These are the most uncomfortable pair of Asics I have ever put on meet. They are extremely stiff and dig into your feet in various places.

I just finished training and competing my 4th half-marathon using these shoes. I am now looking for a new shoe. I also had what felt like an unfinished seam in the toe of the right shoe. The part of the shoe where the ball of my foot hit in each shoe felt like there was very little cushioning. My knees really hurt during this past training cycle and I can't help but think the shoes played a role in the paint I experienced. Very disappointed.

I have the previous version, the ASICS GT-1000 3, in a size 8 and they fit perfectly. My GT-1000 3s are starting to wear out so I ordered the successors, the GT-1000 4s, in the same size. The size 8 arrived and they are too small--my toes are hitting the front. I returned them for an 8.5 and they are too big. I wish they hadn't changed the sizing between the GT-1000 3 and the 4; the GT-1000 3s were great shoes for helping with overpronation.

I damaged my foot. Now I have plantar fasciitis, my knee is killing me, and my ankle is hurting, too. I hate these shoes. One of them is horrible, I think it was made wrong.
