I wanted sneakers that would compensate for my foot pronation but I did not want neon colors. These are lightweight shoes with a broad base that feels cushy enough to make walking linger distances comfortable. I ordered them half a size larger than my normal size and they fit well.

Great cushioning especially in the heels. Toe box is more narrow than the Cumulous I previously bought. I had to go up a 1/2 size for that reason. They give good support and stability.

This new model is the Gel Kayano that I have always loved! But DO follow the other reviewers - I'm normally a medium B width, but chose the wide - fit is perfect. Not sure what Asics did with the sizing this year, but the wide definitely fits like a medium width. Love the overall cushioning, support, and fit of this runner.

I haven't worn these yet but am glad I tried them on in a store and read other reviews before ordering. They run small in the toe area so I ordered a wide width and they fit well. My opinion is to try them on in a store before purchasing online!

TOO NARROW! I bought these in a D width (wide) but they are not wide. They feel like a B width. I am so disappointed. I had bought a pair of New Balance D width which fit beautifully but had too short a tongue. Maybe I will have to keep them anyway since these squash my feet and toes.

My Kayano 20s are finally falling apart, and because I love them so much I decided I would suck up the cost and get some 22s. So glad I did! I have narrow feet and these actually fit me somewhat better in that respect. They are as cushy as ever, and so comfortable. The only negative is that they really need a bit more reinforcement on the side where the pinkie toe rubs, because that's where I always end up with a hole. Other than that they're perfect!

Excellent support. Usually wear regular width size 8. Bought them in reg 8, wide 8 and reg 8.5. Ended up keeping the 8.5 for a perfect fit.

I have a heel problem, plus I have a very narrow foot 4 A, so need something that would give me support in the heel area and not feel too wide. So far these have been very comfortable, I have not worn Aspics before. I usually wear a 8 1/2 AAAA, so I bought a 1/2 size larger 9 AA and them seem fine with socks.

I went up 1/2 size and purchased a regular and a wide width after reading reviews that it ran narrow. I couldn't tell the difference between the 2 shoes when I had them on, so I kept the regular width shoes. They are very cushiony and feel great when I run!

I bought these for my daughter. She absolutely loves them! The color is great and not something I've seen in stores.

The Aspics Gel-Kayano 22 is an excellent shoe for running. It works for walkers too. I have flat, narrow feet and pronate and these shoes accomodate for all of these issues. I have been running in the Kayano for several years. I bought the Kayano 20 three or four times and then upgraded to this latest version and I am happy with them. The look great too.

Like many other reviewers, I have been a GEL-Kayano wearer since the 13 came out. Now we are up to version 22. I predictably purchased the same size every year, and right out of the box, these shoes were the best. No problems until this year. The 22 is narrower and a full inch shorter. Yes, I measured! I am crushed. Like a lost love. What to do? Spend more money ordering another size and width or both? Maybe a permanent break up is in order. Asics, you screwed this one up. These shoes are a beautiful color, but that's the only good thing I have to say about them. Sending them back.

Pleasantly Surprised! I was very skeptical in ordering the 22s! I have been a loyal Kayano runner since around #15! Having said that, my favorite Kayano was the 22- what a dream! I normally wear an 8 average in all shoes but in my running sneaks, I do a 9 wide (again, always Kayano). After reading the reviews about the narrow toe box and "feels smaller than marked" fit, I decided to order a 9.5 wide. It felt a bit more snug than usual, but I wasn't sure if it just wasn't broken in. I agree, the cushioning on the 22 is great. I was concerned it was too cushiony. Wrong! My first run was 5 miles and my feet felt great! I didn't feel they were snug or narrow at all. Before my Kayanos many years ago, my feet would rub/irritate and I was petrified it would happen again after spending $160. These were great. I am however glad that I ordered a 1/2 size bigger than my usual Kayano. One last thing I noticed (and liked)... In previous models, there was a seam that ran across the "bunion" area of feet. There is no seam here on the 22. Go for it but consider upping it a 1/2 size.

These shoes run a full size too small. If you normally wear a 8½ order a size 9½.

These shoes run very narrow. I am a 2A or 3A so I tried the narrow width. The shoes look great but they hurt the tops of my feet and made them feel numb. I am exchanging for a medium. The toe box is too small.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I've worn Gel-Kayanos for years and I like the 22's best of all. I thought the 21's were too narrow and didn't like how I much I had to loosen the laces in order to wear them comfortably. The 22's are also a more fitted shoe than the earlier models, but the fabric is very different (at least on the black/coral color) and feels supportive rather than tight. My custom orthotics still fit well in this model too. The 22's are not as easy to slip on, but if you don't mind adjusting the laces for a perfect fit and giving a little extra push to get them on since the fabric has less give, I think you'll love how the new design fits.

Yes! I love them! Worth the price. Very comfy & fit well. I wear a 10 in normal shoes & ordered an 11. Perfect! I would highly recommend.

These are great shoes for any type of workout. I do strength or cardio in them. They are a little heavier than the Nike Free but they provide much more support. I found the Nike Free to not provide enough support when running. Overall these shoes are great and I will be purchasing more like them in the future!

Disappointed. I've worn Kayanos for many years. I've worn before knee surgeries, during and after. I no longer run, but they are still good for walking. The new model runs extremely small and I had to size up. That's probably not that big of deal, but I'm glad I tried on at a local store. I dislike the color selection of the current styles. I wish there was one normal combination. They are all so gaudy. I'll have to pick the best of the bunch I guess. I thought about going to the Nimbus, but Kayanos are tried and true for me. I hope the bigger size works. Fingers crossed.

I bought these as a gift for my wife. The Kayanos have long been her favorite for trail running, and this color combo beats white in that it doesn't look filthy after running a wet trail. They ran a half sized smaller than she remembers, so we had to bump up.

These are really cute looking and the orange color is bright. The medium width seems narrow in the toes, but they stretch.

I have owned Kayano's for many years. I was disappointed in the re-design of the 22. I ended up having to go up a half size from my usual. The toe box seems more narrow and this is from someone with a narrow foot! The half size seems to work but not quite as perfect as previous models; however, it's not off enough to send me on an endless search for the perfect running shoe!

In the past I have loved this shoe. I have bought ASICS Kayanos for years. Six months ago I had a sizing problem and had to go to a Wide, which I'd never done before. This time when I ordered the same size, I had to go up another 1/2 size in length. The shoe still didn't fit well. I also ordered the Sarcony Omni 14, which I decided to try instead. This ASICS seems to have a curvature from heel to do and the Sarcony tends to keep the foot straight. I am very disappointed that the ASICS have declined in quality in the last few years.

These shoes are smaller than the previous Kayano versions. Also, the arch support doesn't seem as high. I needed a 1/2 size larger, but felt the shoe wasn't as "deep" to support my high arch.

I've been wearing Asics Gel Kayando for years and years. Each model is a bit different, but essentially the same fit. Not the 22. Ordering the same size I've always worn, there seems to be an extra inch at the end of the shoe beyond my toes. Will exchange.

This is the only running shoe that has fit me well, I hope the smaller size works!
