I love it, I put my computer and my textbooks in it. And I only know it's heavy when I'm lifting it. Once it's on my shoulders, I don't feel it anymore. I only wished that the bottle holders on the side where deeper and had tightening strap like on my previous north face back pack, to secure the bottle.

I purchased my router bag in MNL, PH. But was on a vacation is the US when it tore. So I brought my bag to the outlet, filled out forms and after 2 weeks they said my bag was to be replaced with a new one. Ain't that great?

I needed a backpack for college. I wanted a bag with separate zip compartments for my laptop, books, writing utensils, other, and the option of tablet storage.
Other important features were: non-seethrough water bottle holders, good solid back/waist straps, and a black on black color option- per Army ROTC regulations.
I love the grab handles and versatility of the organization pocket.
I wish they had a black logo option as I had to color mine with sharpe to comply with Army regs. And had a separate zip mesh compartment in the laptop section to stow laptop cables and power cords.
Over all it's a great bag that will hopefully serve me for the next five years of collage.

I bought this backpack because I'm a freshman in college and needed something that I know will last all four years and more, plus is great for things like hiking and packing a day bag. I am a woman and do wish the straps had a little more padding because I can really feel them on my collar bone (only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me) and also maybe the fleece like fabric in some of the zipper pockets could pose an issue cleaning depending on what gets them dirty. Overall great product though, love it!

Overall, I think this could be a decent backpack for the right person. Personally, I thought it was far too large with a very long and box-like appearance (the angles are a little odd). This being said, if you're 6'+ this backpack might fit you better. In the time since I've ordered this, I returned it to a North Face store in exchange for the Recon which I think is much better fit for me.

The website pictures looked like colors were a very very dark blue and a grey almost white combination with a very celan and modern design of fabric with a mesh of tiny squares.
The product is actually more of a blue marine and it is a darker grey. The fabric texture and design is old style like wool feeling instead of a more light and cleanable fabric. Not cool or modern at all.
Really dissapointed with the design.
There are many many pockets inside and some of them ridiculously small that takes out space if you want this for cycling, travel, outdoor, etc.
It is good if you want for school use only.
Not what I was looking for. I only wanted a travel bag with a laptop pocket. Besides, if you catch up a rain outside the school or car and gets wet it will get very heavy since fabrics are hevy and very absorbent, fluffy.
It is a heavy bag by itslef.

I have lost expensive items that have fallen out of the rear compartment of this backpack while wearing it. The bag is big but any weight in the front compartments causes the zip of the rear compartment to undo itself while wearing. I lost a pair of glasses on one trip and a pair of expensive headphones on another. I now put wire tie on the zip tabs of the rear compartment do it does not open itself. Very bad design on an otherwise good bag.
