This product is very roomy. I am quite surprised that each time I forget something to put in my backpack, even though it's usually pretty full, I always find some extra room to add additional stuff.
Good place for laptop and tablet.

I bought this backpack for my husband and based on the reviews I choose this one. Great choice!
When I see the video I thought it's only have two openings, one in the front and one in the back for the computer, but has another one in between very roomy.
There is a plenty of compartments for you tablet, phone and computer.
It's definitely a item for a lifetime and the colors are vibrant aand nice I love it!
First time buying a the north face gear and I might buy one for myself.

This backpack is very comfortable , fashionable, and nostalgic. I use to have a black North Face backpack when I was younger and it was comfortable, fashionable, and useful then just as much as it is now; I am glad that I bought this back pack, it has several useful pockets for sunglasses, Laptop, books, calculators, Cameras, etc. In addition, I bought this back pack from Zappos because North Face was sold out. It was the exact up to date model that I wanted, and it was nicely packaged for shipping.

The soft fleece-like material is different, but I don't have a problem with it.

This was a great gift for my son who is in college. He is able to put his 13" laptop with his tablet and still has plenty of room to carry books, folders and his headphones. The shoulder straps definitely help when he is carrying a lot when he walks to and from his dorm room. The dark color gives it a sleek look that he loves a lot. Would definitely recommend to anyone in college or those who travel with their laptop.

Was in need of a new backpack after my old backpack experienced years of wear and tear. I do not regret getting this backpack one bit! The size is perfect for carrying technical books to and from work along with space for my laptop. The look of the backpack is great and the interior and exterior design can't be beat. I really enjoy the separate compartments and the built in storage features for each. It allows for organization on the go.

This back pack is great, I primarily use it for school but it can be used for any occasion. It has room for over 17 different items and it's perfectly comfortable to carry on your back and for your shoulders. It's convienent for your electronics and other Gagdets even bottles of water. I would definitely shop here again and recommend to anyone.

I travel 120+ days a year and need to maximize the use of packing space. Checking and picking up bags when flying is a waist of time! I needed a bag that would let me carry my Microsoft Surface4, running shoes, shower kit, two sets of workout gear, a packed meal, work papers, and more. It also needed to fit in the overhead or under my seat for flights. This bag will hold everything and is very well designed for easy access to everything I need.
When I'm home, I bike to the office and this bag is great for wearing to the office while biking.
Love North Face and this is another great item from them. Thanks!

I bought this for my fiance to use to take back and forth from work. Not only can he use this backpack as his work pack, but also for hiking, a gym bag, and a great carry on, (because we travel a lot).

This backpack is beyond amazing. Enough room for all of my textbooks and anything else I can think of. Great organization pocket at the front and an awesome design. I was a little nervous because my laptop is 19" but it fit perfectly in the bag. Would not trade this backpack for any other.

No complaints on this gift for my college student son. This baby goes from campus to his library job to church mission trips to church business meetings, outings and leisure jaunts, and then some. Bravo on getting it right. The only feature that is on the next time list would be monogramming.

If you are searching for the perfect computer backpack to use for school, work, or even travel, look no further.I use the backpack everyday for everything. I commute form my house to college and to work. When you often have long distance walks, this backpack make them comfortable without the sweat. The Straps are durable and strong enough that I don't have to worry about them breaking off when i am running to catch a bus. The computer compartment is well padded, and large enough to carry a laptop with a 17 inch monitor. One of the reasons that i bought this bag is because of padding that it offers for the laptop compartment. I feel safe that when i lay my bag down my laptop is well protected.

This bag has been amazing for me. I travel for work often and this thing is a lifesaver for the following reasons:
-the computer compartment can hold multiple laptops, I always have two in there, and they aren't small
-certain pockets are lined with different material, some a typical nylon-like material where I'll stash receipts and others with a soft microfiber fitting for cell phone/iPad/anything delicate where you wouldn't want a screen to be scratched
-the third outermost compartment has a million mini compartments where I can easily store toothbrush and floss for the airport, another microfiber one where I put my passport and checkbook if I need it.... You get the idea, it's endless

The only issue I have is that the straps above the water bottle pockets are bit too high. I was hoping to use them to hold my water bottles in place but the top of the bottle slips down and they tend to fall out of the pockets. I use an aluminum water bottle that measures 11in tall. Other than that it's a great backpack that fills all my needs.

I upgraded from the Angstrom 28 because the Angstrom was too small and not very comfortable for heavy loads. I am so glad I made the decision to upgrade!! Pros: To start, there's a pocket for everything I take to school. My e-reader, my voice recorder, two calculators, my laptop, textbooks, notebooks, pens, pencils, charging cables - **everything** has a spot!!! For someone who appreciates being organized, this thing is amazing. The fleece lined pockets are awesome too (technically there's 6 of them). The comfort is superb. Seriously, it's incredibly comfortable. Finally, the volume is massive. Out of curiosity, I put my entire Angstrom 28 filled with all my books and stuff inside the main pocket of the Router. This has the perfect amount of space for a college student that rides the city bus to school and who doesn't want to carry two bags. ....................... Cons: I'm not sure how water resistant this pack is. TNF doesn't really advertise its water repellency, so I'm assuming it's near-zero. It's an unfortunate con, but the rest of the pack is awesome. (I live in Seattle, so I'm just going to use the rain cover that came with my Angstrom 28 for this when it rains. But you can buy rain covers for ~$15.)
