I use it every day. A great upgrade from the duffle bag I had. Better for my back and posture.

Excellent backpack, really comfortable and versatile. I am able to use it to go to work and to train, being able to have my computer and office instruments and my training gear without mixing them and feeling any type of overweight.

i like the fit and finish on this bag. My black red color looks amazing. It has been used and stuffed all of the pockets (including both sides of bottle pockets) and still carry it comfortably. I think this pack can be carrying 30 lbs weight of load and still comfortable enough. The fabric itself (500D Cordura) is perfect balance between weight and durability, so i expect some resistant abrasion for my daily use. Here are some cons to be improved: 1. If only they can make wider laptop compartment on their next iteration (1/2 inch ) to accomodate more 17" laptop. I'm using EVGA SC17 (lil' bit on wide side). 2. Makes wider shoulder strap with more foam (like 5.11 Tactical Rush 24). i know, this will increase the weight of the pack, but that's the tradeoff i'm willing to take. 3. Increasing more pockets doesn't hurt so much (makes more mesh pockets on main compartment). I write this because i know i can expect more from this brand (Better packs on the future). Overall, this pack strikes excellent balance between capacity, weight, comfort, design and color, and price. FYI, this is my first time purchasing backpack from this brand (looking for another types on the future).

i've had this pack for 4 years now and i use it almost daily. it looks pretty much brand new despite daily use. but the best part is how versatile it is. i use this for cycling, carrying school supplies and traveling and the backpack always accommodates what i have to carry perfectly. the laptop compartment doubles as a camelbak carrier for example. for me, this backpack is also the perfect compromise between being lightweight enough to carry around all day comfortably and having features that more rugged backpacks have such as a rigid back piece, and waist/chest straps.

I've been using a messenger bag and needed to switch back to a backpack. I'm a professional who travels frequently, so I needed something durable, pragmatic, and roomy while still looking like something an adult would carry. This is now my to and from work bag as well as my trans-Atlantic flight bag. (My partner has the same model in a different color - to prevent the likely scenario of grabbing the wrong one)

This backpack will not disappoint. I use it for school to lug around a lot of heavy books which are really hard on most backpacks. This backpack is very durable and comfortable under the heavy load. I would buy another one when mine wears out, but that will likely take many years!

I use this backpack for both work where I keep my laptop and tools in and love the origination it provides. Its great to take on hikes when I'm not using it for work. Love how comftrable it is and what a good job it does distributing the weight, even when it is uneven.

This was by far the best backpack I've ever had. I was worried about the price but once I got it, this was totally worth it.

Excellent stylish bag, the 17" laptop pocket barely fits the dimensions for my laptop, but maybe not yours. My laptop is the Gigabyte P37XV5-SL4K2 and it is paper thin. If it were any thicker, the laptop would not fit. Currently the fit is extremely tight and takes some work to get it to zip shut. Other than that the bag looks great, has tons of other space, and is quite comfortable.

I carry around a lot of dumb electronics and I like to have them at the ready. Who knows when you'll need a solar battery charger? With this backpack, I can always be prepared for that eventuality. It's got a ton of room and I'm especially looking forward to the summer for taking it with me on my motorcycle. I've gone through a bunch of cheap bags before settling on this and I can tell that it'll last. Very quality.

The Router Backpack is a versatile bag that offers support, convenience and style. This bag has multiple pockets and has lots of storage room. I personally use this bag for work and school and on a daily I carry my papers, books, laptop and water bottle. Even if I carry a heavy load, this bag offers support to my back. Somehow, the bag evenly distributes the weight load- it must be the thick straps or the flex-vent backing of the bag. All-in-all, this bag is efficient and stylish and I highly would recommend this bag for purchase!

This backpack is great for both going to work (carrying my laptop, files, etc) and hitting the trails (water bottles, food, gear). Amazing overall backpack. So durable. Sleek. Sexy. Worth the money... won't be buying another backpack for a decade probably. I recommend it to however is considering it :)

I purchased my North Face Router backpack over 5 years ago and still use it daily. This backpack is a perfect option for anything that you could possibly require a backpack for. I used this backpack for school primarily from senior year of high school to my current college age. I have used this backpack on a daily basis for this long span. It is perfect for school because of the many different pockets it offers. There is a large one that is ideal for books or a laptop, a smaller one beside it for pencils and other school supplies, and finally an even smaller pocket on the outside to keep keys and other valuables during the day. This backpack has also been to the top of many mountains in Colorado with me. The water bottle holders on the outside are extremely convenient when you need a drink without stopping to take off your backpack. Often when mountain climbing, your backpack will be much heavier than the normal school day requires. This backpack comes with a waist strap to take the majority of the weight off of your shoulders and put it on your hips, which is much safer for your back. The main thing that made this backpack top of the line was its durability. It has lasted over 5 years with only minimal wear and tear, none of which rendered the backpack unusable. The main signs of stress after the years is a few threads hanging, which when removed are insignificant to the backpack's usefulness. I would definitely purchase one again.

I really like how big but not bulky this back pack is. There are so many pockets, and some are bigger than I thought they would be. I was able to fit my laptop, a couple books, a large 17' tablet, hard drives, small camera, an extra shirt/jacket, and still had some room. My new main backpack for sure.

I actually returned it for the red/black one instead. No regrets whatsoever. The material feels incredibly durable. Great protection for my laptop and with lots of room to boot. I walk 4 miles a day to and from the train with this bag and it's the most comfortable I've ever owned. The only con is that it's slightly expensive, but you pay for what you get.

I bought this for a work trip to hold my laptop and tablet and other items while traveling. It's perfect as a carry-on for airline travel. If you're looking for a pack to commute to work everyday with this may be a little on the large size. If you travel regularly or have to pack a lot of stuff in general this is ideal. Plenty of pockets(a couple are even fleece lined for items like sunglasses or your phone), nicely padded back and a couple of useful handles too.
