I have worn your MW577/4 E size 16 BLACK walking shoe with hook and strap for many years and wanted a shoe in brown and ordered mw813/4E brown shoe. I find the width of this shoe is much wider and uncomfortably so. What do you suggest i do?

I have a wide foot normally, plus I wear orthotics. New Balance has always been a good fit for me. These are a bit wide, but the 4E fit my foot with orthotic perfectly. They get really hot though.

Shoes are comfortable. Gave it a one because they zero air ventilation. No small perforations in sides. After wearing for a full day, shoes and feet smell due to normal sweating. Will get some odor eaters, I guess. Have not had foot odor in many decades before this. Would never buy these again, nor do I recommend to anyone. They are smelly sweat traps.

I ordered these for my cousin who has balance problems and is diabetic. He loves them and they fit great! They are easy for him to put on and take off. I would definitely recommend them.

I wear NB 8xx velcro walking shoes with my ankle-foot orthotics (AFOs). No problem with 811s; have had these for over 3 years and they are finally deteriorating. The replacement 813 is a completely different shoe. While it looks like it is roomy, with a large toe box, they hurt my feet in several places and are unsatisfactory. I had to go up 1 size and 1 width just to make them semi-work and they still hurt. I wish NB would go back to the 811 last.

I have bought New Balance shoes for over two decades. One primary reason was they were always USA made. No longer. Very disappointed that this latest pair was made in Indonesia! This will probably be my last pair of NB shoes...

I purchased these shoes because I broke my wrist and could not tie shoelaces. Unfortunately, the shoes are too wide for my single A feet. The velcro straps worked well, and that is all that I required.

Fit was too wide at the heel and slipped badly; would have caused blisters. Returning for the New Balance MW411v2 which fits perfectly, without slippage. This shoe (MW813) seemed wider than marked.

These are comfortable shoes and they wear well. We used to buy the tan color as they went well with shorts and pants. See they have tan in women's, what happened to tan in men's. Still like the shoe, disappointed with the colors.
