I use this product for waking. It's good. But little less weight of the product will make it great.

The shoes are very nice. However, I wanted a different style but there is a very limited selection. I am wondering if new balance is going out of the shoe business.

This is a good shoe. I have been unable to get the 928 shoes, recommended by the foot and ankle surgeon. I don't know why the 928 seized is unavailable. Can you help please??

Have been wearing this same 813v1 shoe for several years. They break in easily and fit very well.

This shoe was for my husband. He wears them when he needs to have a dresser look to his outfit. Because the shoe is all black it comes across as a dressy shoe. Overfit fit is true to size.

Having had difficulty finding a comfortable shoe after foot surgery, I have depended on New Balance shoes for footwear. This includes the 813v1, which I recently ordered. Thank you, New Balance.

These are my every day shoe. Typically quite comfortable. Size tends to run small for the range I shop. The new elastic retainers for the straps strike me as less durable and potential point of failure. Time will tell.

These shoes are awesome. They have a rollbar which I really need, are very comfortable and I think stylish. I wish they made the velcro in XX wide. The price is right. I wore these to a hosta convention where it was muddy and raining, I wore a rain slicker but my feet stayed dry. I am very impressed.

I've bought 4 pairs of these shoes now and would recommend them to anyone that has a solid leather shoe as a requirement for their employment, and are looking for a lightweight comfortable shoe.

Fit perfectly, offer excellent support for my extremely flat feet (with orthotics), and stylish. I've been wearing New Balance footwear for 40 years. They are the best.

The shoe is very comforable and a decent return for the money paid I gave only 4 stars due to my preference for a higher back and fewer holes for the shoe laces

New Balance has always been my favorite athletic shoe, whether for walking or running. I first started wearing them because they seemed to be the only athletic shoe that offered 4E widths! But then I started reading about them and how they started out making orthopedic shoes, I've never bought another brand since, they always fit right, always comfortable

I have severe bunions. So I really appreciate being able to get a 4E

I like a wide and rounded toe box. Too many shoes are now made to look "cool", but don't conform to the natural shape of ones forefoot. These are one of the few models that I could find that give the front of the foot plenty of room, especially when on your feet for long hours. Great shoes !!

I have a very narrow foot. I probably knew better, but I ordered a B width just to try. As I normally buy 13AA New Balance shoes, I should have known better. I would have liked to have kept the shoes, but especially since a walking shoe has a more roomy toe box, they were just too wide. Other than that I'd have awarded them 5 stars. I returned them.

Fit was okay but styling left a lot to be desired. Looked like something my Grandpa would wear. "old man"

I bought these shoes to let me work on my feet for up to my 12 hour days at the liquor store. They're comfortable and supportive enough to make that feasible. Sized properly to fit my narrow width feet. Lace up snugly for good support and lack of movement in the shoe. Very comfortable and supportive for long days on my feet. I'll probably buy another in a different color.

I started with the older model of these, the 811 back in the dark ages. I was so disappointed when you retired those and went to the 813. The toe box was originally narrower than the 811 but you listened to the surveys and they are more comfortable again! The sneakers built on the SL-2 last are so wonderful and keep me on my feet longer. Thank you New Balance!

I bought the 813 on a suggestion of a friend. I am a big fan and long term buyer of the 990 series running shoes. Sorry, the 813, even though half the price of the 990, is uncomfortable as a walking shoe. It doesn't have the sophisticated comfort and support of the more expensive model I am used to. I won't be buying it again.

Walked around Universal Studios Florida and my feet felt great.

New Balance are my preferred athletic shoe, given their comfort and wide sizes. The walking shoes are particularly comfortable. My only issue are the very lightly padded insoles. My feet can swell and the insoles provide insufficient padding. I resolve the issue routinely by buying special insoles into the shoes for more padding and better fit. I wish this were not necessary and understand this might not bother others.

As a longtime buyer of the model 812, I am very impressed with the improved version #813. The longer padded tongue keeps it up and straight. The overall shape prevents excess heel movement without pressing on my ankle bones. Good lateral support and ample toe box will make me repeat customer.

Great stability but no cushioning. Not great for being on your feet a long time or for long walks.

I wear these as my outside of work shoes. I would recommend them.
