If your mobility is compromised then this is the shoe for you.

Use the shoes for everyday walking. They are comfortable and fit nice. Not quite the look I wanted but can't have everything. A little more expensive than what I was buying but at least they're made in United States.

My true shoe size is 9 1/2 EEEE. Consequently, I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit properly. Not so with New Balance. Not only did they have my size, which fit very comfortably, but they shipped them very promptly.

These shoes are the best I have found for my feet. I have to get a 6E in width and these are perfect and comfortable for standing and working all day.

Best shoes that I have ever worn, been using New Balance shoes for years. I am handicapped so it is hard to tie a shoe, but with the velcro I have no problem

I have worn New Balance walking shoes size 11.5D for many years. They have always fit perfectly with little or no break-in. This pair is much too small. I did not immediately return them because I wore them for a day or two thinking they only required break-in, but all they did was make my feet ache. I cannot wear them and I cannot return them because the return policy says they must be in "new" condition and I tried to wear these for a couple of days.

Very comfortable but a little bit tight across. When buying get a half size bigger.

I'm able to use the shoes for work. I'm not a petite man and the shoes are so comfortable.

The fit was spectacular.! I need extra wide and they came through

My husband is diabetic and has to be very careful about his feet. He loves the support and stability that New Balance 813 shoes provide. He has more confidence when he is covering tough terrain.

have only purchased New Bal;ance shoes for the past 15 or 20 years. Great quality at a reasonable price.

Really comfortable walking shoe. Tried a different model in 4E but was too tight for me.

Bought to replace worn out walking shoes but that's are not any better. Unbelievable that these shoes are pure junk, staying away from any and all New Balance products!

Good basic shoe, I'm used to a shoe that has more foam support, but these are better than many. I have a few foot issues and I'm fine wearing them all day, which says a lot. Will see how they hold up, but I'm just working in an office and test lab environments, so should last.

I recently had a total ankle replacement and now use this New Balance shoe with my brace. The roll bar feature is helpful, and the shoes are exceptionally comfortable. Would prefer a color choice in brown, but the black is fine. I highly recommend the 813v1.

I do a lot of walk-in and I find these shoes so comfortable to walk in they have brought the joy of walking back into my life

Worth the purchase as they finally got the right size that fits my feet and also fits my AFO brace so needed that extra wide width for comfort wear.

I have owned New Balance shoes for decades, most notably every incarnation of the 990 running shoe and some others. These days I mainly use the shoes for walking. I was excited to get New Balance walking shoes to wear everyday with jeans. When I tried these on, I had difficulty getting the right shoe to feel comfortable. I finally noticed that the tongue on the right shoe was sewn in such a way that it curled even with extra effort trying to prevent it. The left shoe did not have this defect. So, I returned the shoe without ever wearing it.

These walking shoes are comfortable and supportive. Can't go wrong

If you thought the 813 would be a replacement for the 577 you FAILED. I loved my 577's, the 813 don't fit the same they are tight around the toes and the arch. The Velcro straps look like wings when you are wearing the shoes. they are uncomfortable to say the least.
