Great hook and loop shoe for people with arthritic hands. Sizing is 'true'. Glad to get black shoes in this style.

I am wearing my shoes right now and they feel better with my orthopedic support.

My feet are extra wide and these are the only sneakers that will fit my feet. It is nice to know that New Balance will accommodate any foot size and width.

Love NB's hook and loop walking shoes. My neurologist commented on these shoes (he liked the look of the shoe and width--feet are not cramped). I like the fit, wide width and leather attributes. I can walk in these shoes for as long as is necessary.

I have had bunion surgery on both feet and so need a shoe that is wider in the toe area and this fit the bill correctly.

With chronic hip issues..these shoes with the Rollbar built in are the best for me. But pricing has kept me from buying more until this one. Great price for a great shoe!! Thanks PS Remember that NB's should be a size bigger than what your normal show size is..I am a 10..in NB's I am an 11!!

It is hard for me to find quality shoes in my size. I need a narrow shoe and most do not offer that width. I use these for walking a lot and they were great right out of the box. I didn't need to break them in.

the shoe is comfortable and is as stated. It comes in a wide width which I like for running and extended walking. I always buy New Balance when I want the shoe to last a whole and give good support.

I use these shoes for walking, they help my feet and high arch feeling very good.

Thankfully they haven't changed anything on this shoe. I have been buying this shoe for the past couple of years. The wide width can accommodate the braces I wear.

i really like this new color--the 813 style has been my favorite for years, now I have a shaded color to add to my winter black and summer white for in between the seasons! These fit great!

The size width is perfect in the 813 hook & loop walking shoe.

Nice high, wide toe box. Good to accommodate AFO; stabilizing roll bar to help to keep ankle from rolling.

I love not having to tie the sneakers. The 12.5 women's size fits true and the sneakers fit me well.

I wear them all the time, I have a metal plate in the right foot and this pair is better than the last. I was very disappointed that they were not made in America but I will continue to buy either this pair or the next pair up.

After ordering numerous shoes from different places (and returning them) I finally found something that worked!!! I have to wear an 11 XXwide due to several foot surgeries on both feet for bunions/hammertoes/etc. I am a 61 year old RN (still working) so on my feet a lot. It is so hard to find a comfortable shoe but finally found this one last week. At first it was uncomfortable on my left foot because the insole felt too high along the outside of my foot. After taking the insole out and putting it back in, though, it was perfect (maybe it just wasn't inserted correctly to start with). I am ordering another pair just like this one so I will have one to wear for work and one for home. I just wish it came in more colors besides black and white! Really not crazy about either color but at this point I have no choice.

I am on my feet all day. New balance shoes are the most comfortable and supportive shoes that I waer.

Very comfy. I can see why nurses depend on this model. There is actually a break-in period in which you and the shoe become "accustomed" to ea other. This involves getting used to the sole and the roller bar; the leather will stretch a bit to accommodate your needs. Nice cushioning overall. A very dependable, supportive shoe for those of us who walk a lot w/problem feet. I got the black lace model, which is easy clean. I like the relatively square toe box. Highly recommended.
