I first heard of the Hedgehog 10 years ago, when I was researching another shoe and someone recommended it. I'd never considered TNF for footwear. I loved the look, the fit, the sturdiness and the waterproofing. The price was reasonable for all of these features. Not surprisingly, they lasted several good years. When it came time to replace them, I couldn't think of a better alternative, so got the latest version; and I've just repeated that cycle! I've used these shoes in various settings: as sneakers for everyday use; hiking; digging us out from a snowstorm; and even in the office on casual days. Admittedly, I'm a bit of a shoe minimalist, so the more I can use the same shoe for multiple purposes, the better.

This is my second pair of these ,the first pair lasted abot 2 years before they gave up the ghost loved the first pair and slid right into the second ,only hikers for me.

I'm a camp counselor, and wear these shoes everyday. After two months, they've worn down a lot. But they've been amazing shoes.

Are good For hiking

Excellent shoe that is comfortable with good traction.

I use these for light trail hiking up to about 7 -8 miles on local established trails with either dirt or rock. The shoes are comfortable and provide support. They are a snug fit without being small; if you wear thick socks you might want to go up 1/2 size. They also look good besides being practical. So far, they are durable, light weight, and very useful. Pretty cool shoes and great North Face quality as expected.

I love this product

This is my second pair of the Hedgehog Fastpacks. The first pair lasted for two years and I still wear them as back-ups. The Hedgehogs are great for walking, hiking and playing rugged outdoor sports like disc golf. I even wear them out sometimes. They're very comfortable with good arch support. I will, without a doubt, be buying a third pair in the future. This is, hands down, one of the best and favorite shoes I have ever owned.

The blue is the perfect understated color for everyday use.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned in recent years. I wear them principally for fitness walking and/or whenever I am going out and will be in a situation where I would very likely be doing a lot of walking, e.g., going to the city, a large mall, the zoo, a park, etc.

We've bought North Face shoes for years and will continue to do so. VERY durable and they look nice too.

I purchased these shoes as a Christmas present for my son. He absolutely loves them! You cannot go wrong with a North Face product!
