I have this shoe in blue and ordered another pair in black because I love them so much! They're really comfortable; like walking on cushions. No breaking in needed for most Asics.

Great shoes and got them fast! They're cushier than the other nimbus models, in my opinion, but they feel great when running.

Love the feel! The Gel is perfect! My son has the men's version and I wore them a few times to take the dog out and even though they were too big they felt great so I purchased my own in the correct women's size! The only slightly negative is that the colors are a little funky for my taste.

This is my 2nd pair of Gel Nimbus the 1st was the "15" & now I got the "17" I'm a nurse & on my feet 10hrs a day. I use to come home with my feet hurting all over, but not anymore!

I got the shoes I wanted! And the best part? The price was far below everyone else! They arrived very fast too. Thank you Zappos.

Shoes were just what I wanted them to look like when I opened the box. They fit perfectly, I'd recommend them anytime!

Due to heel spurs and complications from a broken foot, I stick with Asics. These shoes are well padded, stable, excellent arch support, and very comfortable. No extra gel heel pads required for the heel spur. I usually take a 4½ medium in street shoe, and 5 medium in sneakers. I got the 5½ medium in this shoe and happy I did. I felt toes had more room. I hope these shoes hold up as the Asics GT2170 is now developing holes in the netting on the exterior top toe area. I like the color as seems to go well with my wardrobe. This is my first time wearing the Nimbus, and I plan on buying another pair soon.

These shoes run a little small. I usually wear a 6.5 but needed to exchange the pair I ordered for a size 7. The shoes are great and have a lot of cushion in the ankle area and arch support. Love the shoes!

These shoes are very comfortable. I work on my feet all day and need a supportive pair of shoes and these work. I am glad however that I read the reviews and ordered up 1/2 size.

I purchased these shoes for my wife. She absolutely loves them. Great heel cushion. She can easily go on 5 mi walk and have no foot pain. Thumbs up.

Great support, heel cushion, mid sole cushion. Great for plantar fasciitis. Heel hurts considerably less at end of day.

I supenate and have bad knees and right hip. These really soften my walk and correct my stance. They are wonderful This is my third pair.

I love Asics. I have worn Gel Kayanos for several years. My last 2 pair have been the Gel Nimbus 17 and I am in love. I'm not a runner but I do walk 2 1/2 miles everyday and ride my bike 3 miles. These are like floating on air. :) well almost. I had been waiting for these to go on sale and Yeah they did. Thanks ZAPPOS!

Been running in Asics gel-nimbus for the past 4 years. This version is by far my favorite. NO breaking in period. NO blisters on my toes. Bought 3 pairs so far to stock up. I buy a full size larger than my "street shoes" size.

This has got to be the best shoe in the market. It's comfortable. Is wearing very well and I'm very hard on shoes. I walk approx. 20 miles per week.

I love these shoes. This is the second pair that I have purchased. They offer good support (with my insert) for my plantar fasciitis. And I have gotten so many compliments on the coral color!

I have been walking in these shoes for about 2 weeks and they have been very comfortable. I bought this style because the description said "suitable for the underpronator" which I am. I wish I had more color choice in my size 11.5 2A.

After reading all the reviews and having doubts about purchasing a pair of shoes online, I went ahead and decided to buy them. I am so glad I did because my plantar fasciitis pain is almost gone. I walk on concrete for 8-10 hours a day and they are worth the money. I just ordered another pair because they are very comfortable.

Love Asics and love the color of these sneakers. I ordered D for Wide and think that the GEL-Nimbus 17 model isn't as wide as the GEL-Nimbus 16 model.

After two pairs of Hokas, I was ready for something with a bit less sole but with plenty of cushion. After three runs in the Asics Nimbus, I am pleased with my choice. I have medium arches, and these are plenty supportive. Cushion feels good although hard to compare to the last pair of Hokas I had (Bondi, for the record) since they were about a year old, so the cushioning was barely there anymore. My first run in the Asics was a short one, and of course, I had some soreness. But my second and third (a long run - 11 miles) felt fine.

The Nimbus line is a fabulous shoe with amazing comfort and great arch support for those with high arches. I have worn the Nimbus 15, 16 and now the 17 and I will never stray again. I recently tried the Brooks Launch 2 and it cannot hold a candle to this ASICS GEL brand.

I have small feet, narrow heels, and I supinate. Asics offer construction supportive of my feet and the way I move. In street shoes, I wear a US 5M or EU 34/35, but Asics are short, so if you are in doubt, size up at least a half size. Lots of support around the heel, but not confining. Gel cushioning makes moving a delight. Price was quite reasonable.

I was looking for something to give me more cushion for Zumba since we do a lot of jumping. Most other shoes have too thin a sole, either though they are good for pivoting in Zumba. This shoe doesn't allow as good dance pivoting, but it sure does have a lot of cushioning.

Love these shoes. I tried many other running shoes and even tried these with a top pair of Nikes side by side and Asics won out. They are the most cushioned and comfortable and lightweight too.

I am grateful to have read reviews of Gel Cumulus 17 which lead me to buy this pair in addition. These shoes are truly much softer and more comfortable than Cumulus 17. I just wish that they would make this model in full/mostly black color like Cumulus. I still far prefer this model overall to other though keeping other pair as alternate for running as well as for clinical use as only permitted all black footwear for ER uniform. I am very pleased, also I wear a half-size larger in Asics shoes.
