I love Asics, they are my go to sneaker; however, this pair seemed too snug. I felt as though my toes were right at the front. I am a true 8.

These are amazing shoes! I am on my feet on cement most of my day at work and these are so cushioned and feel great! I wish they made a tan color choice, as black is not my favorite color, but these are so comfy and not hot pink or lime green, that I will happily wear them!

I absolutely am hooked on Asics!! Excellent arch support - I have high arches which can cause issues with the wrong shoes even with orthotic inserts. They all run on the narrow side so I have to go with wide even though I normally do not wear wide shoes. They do seem to vary with each "upgrade"; the exact same shoe may not fit the same (ie- nimbus 16 vs 17). I have had a pair of kayano for many years and I did not like the upgrade so after much research, decided on Nimbus vs Cumulus. I purchased both and the Nimbus has MUCH more cushion in comparison so Nimbus it was! So far Asics has not failed me yet! And of course Zappos is always my go to for excellent customer service and convenience- thanks!!

These shoes are great for people that have to walk on a concrete floor all day. They were pure comfort right out of the box. I work for Home Depot and the orange accents are an eye catcher. I love them. Do buy half a size up.

I like my shoes very much, just like the other Gel-Nimbus shoes I've had!

I always buy asics for running. This is my third gel nimbus. Good padding as always a little narrower than 2015. But not enough to make a difference. I do have a wide foot. I usually wear an 8 and was fitted with an 8 1/2 and am glad I went with it.

I am not a "real" runner so for the small amounts I do run, I kept experiencing blisters and my feet always hurt. After trying 2 other brands of running shoes with the same results, I decided to give Asics a try and so glad I did. 2 weeks later and no new blisters and my feet feel great. The shoe is made exactly like my foot, narrow in the middle with support and wider around toes. I love these shoes! Zappos delivered my shoes in 2 days- another nice surprise, great job!

I have a hard-to-fit foot, narrow heel, flat arch; wear 7 or 7.5 narrow in dress shoe. This shoe in 8.5 narrow is nearly a perfect fit. To make it as snug as I like, I added a Spenco insert on top of the shoe insert. Gel-Nimbus 15 worked well for me, but I was no longer able to find them. The Gel-Nimbus 16 did not work at all. I've now purchased 3 pair of the 17's as a safeguard. Only complaint is that I'd prefer color other than white. Asics, women with narrow feet like a choice, too.

I am not a runner but rather bought these shoes for everyday use/walking and for travel. I also considered the Asics Cumulus, which appears to be very similar (to a non-runner, at least) but less cushioned. The Nimbus are the most cushioned running/walking shoe that I have ever worn, and they also seem to fit to the form of each individual's foot. I have a narrow ankle and fairly wide toe box, and they work well on me. I wear the same size in them as in other Asics (which is bigger than what I wear in most other shoes), whereas the Cumulus (if you are considering them) run small--I needed them half a size larger than my normal Asics size. My only regret about these shoes is that they don't have a firmer arch support. Although I can substitute an athletic insole, I will then lose the cushioning that is the greatest advantage of this particular style. (For that reason, I am rating them a "4" for comfort.) Finally, I might add that I did a fair amount of research on running sites, and they all rate this shoe higher than the Cumulus. I was very glad that these came in black, because I am looking to use them for travel in Europe, where "flashy" American sneakers are not generally worn.

I had 3 pairs of the Nimbus 15 and skipped 16 as was "different". The 17 seems to be more like the 15. A very good supportive shoe with good cushioning and a very good price! I'll probably buy 1 more pair to have 2 to switch back and forth.

I always purchase Asic shoes for my athletic shoes because they are comfortable, cushioned and durable. These shoes do not not disappoint. I love them!

I love this shoe. These are my new workout shoes, and my normal exercise routine consists of doing Cathe Friedrich videos. I normally wear a half size up in Asics but the last two pairs I tried were too big. So, instead of a size 8.5 I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfect. The color is great.

This is my second pair of Gel Nimbus and they are just as comfortable as the first pair I bought a few years ago. The inside are very cushioned and have a nice springy step when running on a treadmill.

Asics seem to be always narrower than I expect; my D width shoes are narrower than past shoes. However, I work in a store with concrete floors and need protection from shock. Asics do protect my feet well; they are better than a few others brands I've tried. They also last longer than other brands, despite my walking a couple of miles every day on those concrete floors.

My new favorite shoes! Very comfortable out of the box. I like the bright colors. No break in period necessary. I will probably buy this style again.

Shipping was very quick!!! These shoes have made work so much easier, especially being pregnant. I will be buying another pair soon. I normally wear a 9.5 and had to order 10.5 in these, so I think the sizes run different in these.

I finally found the right sneakers! I've had 22 different casts on my left foot and leg since I was born, beginning at 2 hours old, so I've had quite the battle finding sneakers that I can walk in all day without pain. I also have a bunion on my right foot so I can't have shoes with a really restrictive toe box. I can't order wide shoes because I have a narrow heel so I need a toe box that can be stretched. The mesh upper on these is fabulous for that! These are perfect! I did have to order them a half size larger (thank goodness for Zappos' amazing return policy) because my toe hit the end in my usual size 9. They are comfortable right out of the box I ordered the blue and pink ones, I was debating on the white and coral ones because I love the look of white sneakers, but I need these for my upcoming trip to Disney and figured I'd be worried about getting them dirty the whole trip. I love how low the ankle is, they will be great for summer! Asics are the best! I'll definitely order another pair soon.

Love these shoes. They have the cushioning and the room I need. I wear a size 6 and run in a size 7.

While training for a full and half marathon I began to have foot pain. I was a die hard naturalistic sneaker fan (thin and flexible) so I decided to switch it up. I got a pair of New Balance shoes that felt different which I thought meant they were good. I hated every run in those shoes and after the last half marathon I knew I needed to try something new. These shoes are like nothing I have run in before, they are so cushy that I feel like I'm bouncing when I run. The only problems I have are that it feels a half size larger (I have narrow and thin feet) than usual and occasionally the extra cushion makes my toes tingle. It turned out that my foot pain is from collapsing arches and I have no pain in these shoes.

Love Zappos. Always have the shoes I need. I run a lot and am really partial to good sneakers. The shipments are always on time,usually before the promised date and the zero hassle return policy is awesome!!

At last! A super cushy, wide enough (I ordered wide) neutral running shoe. I love them the minute I take a step. Only improvement I would make is longer shoe laces. I can barely tie them.

I run 42-50 miles per week. This is a great, cushiony, shock absorbing shoe. I have chosen this shoe for 14 years now. So comfy and has great support. I have a neutral gate and always order 1/2 size up for toe/impact room. I have run a marathon and done speed work in these shoes.

Absolutely love these tennis shoes. I walk 5 -6 mi daily & have plantar fasciitis in one foot. These shoes are the most padded & comfortable I've ever worn. I've had several brands, even Asics before! I also ordered my husband a pair of men's and he loves them too!

The Asics Gel Nimbus 17 is a great fit for anyone looking for a shoe with unsurpassed comfort and neutrality. I personally have an injured knee which has caused me to be bowlegged. This has been the only pair of shoes that has helped the arthritic inflamation in my knee.

These shoes are some of the best that I have ever owned. I honestly bought this pair because my sister told me about them. She had gotten a different color, but these were Detroit Tiger colors, so of course I had to have them. They feel much better than my other pair of shoes (different brand) while I am working out (mainly intense cardio workouts). No longer do my feet hurt post workout. These are awesome and feel wonderful to walk around on since they do have the gel in the heel. I definitely recommend these!
