I am very frustrated with these pants. I received them as a gift in my usual size, and they were too small, so I returned them and reordered them one size up. I just received those and they are still too small in the waist, especially to be active in. If I go up another size, they will be way too long. Would not recommend.

small, stiff, and not flattering

I was so disappointed. This should have fit perfectly but it was way too small. I have found enormous inconsistencies with the sizing on Columbia sportswear and recommend you don't purchase anything without trying on first!

Super small even though I should be drowning in the size I ordered. This size anywhere else would fit 1.5 of me. They are also not made well. Cheap fabric and weak stitching. Thought Columbia was supposed to be a good brand?

Much smaller than expected I always wear a size 10

Too small. I normally wear a 6 and I could not even fit in the 8. The cut of the leg is so straight that it does not make it enjoyable to bend at the knees.

Completely inaccurate sizing and getting worse by the year. Two years ago I bought 3 pairs of these pants. I usually wear a 2 or 4 in hiking pants, but back then I had to order a size 6 to get a good fit (fitted to my body but not super tight). I really like these pants because they are durable, soft and feel cool even in summer. This year I bought another size 6 pair, and they were ridiculously tight! Each year it seems they are making them smaller. I don't know what's going on with their manufacturer, but someone from the Columbia company needs to tell them these are not for children.

These run very small. I ordered my usual size 8, and couldn’t button them.

I had a previous pair of these in size 4; ordered the 4's and they are basically 2 sizes too small! Sizing must have changed. I still fit in the original 4's....these were my favorite pants for everyday. Didn't reorder in diff size because I just get tired of online shopping ;)

Runs WAY too small. I am a size 0-2. The crotch area is so short that it's painful. Horrible horrible pants. I had a pair I bought last year in the same size. I wear them all the time. Totally different fit. Why are these so low waisted?? No one wants a muffin top while being active. I wouldn't even wear these around the house. Waste of money.

Size up 2 sizes sizing is definitely off from others I have purchased

Runs two sizes too small. I love the style of the pant, the weight, the fabric, so very disappointed that I have to return.

I ordered these pants twice now and am extremely disappointed to discover they run VERY SMALL. I am 5'7 155 pounds & typically wear a 6 long. When I initially ordered a 6 long, I could hardly get them past my thighs! Once I did there was zero chance of them buttoning. I liked the pants enough that I sent them back and placed a second order for an 8 long. They are very tight in the butt and thighs and again will not button! Very disappointed..

Terrible fit. Like made poorly. Fit nothing like the moAlso ridiculous that you have to pay for the return.

These pants are too too tight in the waist. I wear the size 12 Anytime Bootcut Pants in size 12 and they fit perfectly. Why can't Columbia make pants in different styles that fit the same way?

I have these same pants in the same size from 2 years ago and loved them. I just ordered another pair in the same size and they run way smaller. There are other reviews with this same complaint. Why hasn't Columbia addressed this issue or responded?

Yikes, I sized up after reading numerous reviews. The sized up pants were still probably TWO sizes too small. The rise is very short which didn't help the fit. A definite return.

The size 12 in this pant is too big for me and the size 10 pulls in the crotch and sits awkwardly below the natural waist and I have a short waist. These are pants for hiking?

I have two pairs of Columbia pants, one in a size six (which I no longer fit into) and one in a 10, which is just a little large. I ordered these in a 10 and they were tighter around the waist than my size 6. Unfortunately have to return.

Returned pants at once. Extremely thin fabric, skinny legs, overall terrible fit. Not impressed.
