I ordered a 4 short and am pretty true that size in the hips, but these were more snug than I would like for trail pants, so I returned them.

I have two pairs of Saturday Trail II knee pants by Columbia and love them so I thought these Saturday Trail pants would also be a good choice for an upcoming trip where it is hot and humid. Unfortunately, Columbia's sizing is not consistent between their products. These pants were about 2" smaller in the waist than the knee pants. I would advise anyone considering these pants to read the sample sizing shown under "more information" closely.

Wanted to love these pants for work but they were way too small in the waist but fit everywhere else. Wish the waist band had a little more flexibility but with still the belt loops.

I usually wear a size 2 but bought a size 4 to be on the safe side but they were still way too small in the waist but bigger in the hips. Definitely more of a curvy fit.

My husband and I purchased similar pants for a European tour. After one month, his pants still look like new. The fabric of my pants is of poor quality compared to the men's. My pants have pills of fabric and the stitching is breaking in many places. I am so disappointed in the quality of these pants.

Too tiny of a waist- with no stretch or give=if you have narrow hips and a waist that is slightly larger than the norm- these pants will not work.

I am 5'9" and have a difficult time finding pants that are long enough. Four years ago I found a pair of these pants in size "14 Long" and was thrilled. They have been my go to travel pants. I decided to order two more pair for an upcoming trip and was beyond disappointed after paying express shipping to discover that the inseam is now much shorter in the same size. Please consider making these with a longer inseam again.

These pants were a disappointment for me :( I have about every pair of the Saturday Trail Shorts and thought that I would like these as well. I am 5'2" and 105 lbs. I have a small frame and these pants fit in the waist and the short length was great, but the hip area was huge. I just felt like there was a lot of extra fabric for me, if you are petite i would suggest buying the "Take Me Anywhere" pants...they fit petite frames way better.

Very tight in the seat of the pants and I am anything but endowed in that area. Very uncomfortable.

I recently purchased a different color of these pants and they fit great. This pair was very tight, not at all the same fit, returning. Rating is specific to this pair.

The size 10 arrived while I was out of town. They fit like a size 6, NOT a size 10. I have an older size 10 that is wonderful. Now have missed the date to return So disappointed I wasted this money. Definitely do not recommend unless you try them on first.

So disappointing to order two pairs of my favorite pants and have both of them not fit. Same size, same style, different colors. One pair wouldn't even come over my hips; the other was much too large in the waist. What has happened?

I was looking forward to wearing these pants. Unfortunately, they're very tight in the waist. They fit me well otherwise. I'll be returning them.

Based on reviews that said the size runs small, I ordered 1 size up and discovered they are still way to small in the waist. Disappointing as I have another pair from a few years back that fits finenin the larger size. I will be returning.

Sizing is way off, I sized up and still too tight. The crotch in these pants is extremely short.

This is the third pair I ordered and went from size 4, 6, and then size 8. They are all too tight. There is something wrong with their sizing

I don't know what you guys did. But nothing fits right anymore. With Columbia sportswear products they used. To be good.

I really liked the way these looked, but terrible fit

They seem to have changed the dimensions on this product and now the rise is extremely short. I have one OLD pair that I love, but when I bought new ones, they fit terribly.

The size of the pants or shorts depends on where they are made. I have 3 pair of size 10 that fit perfectly. The two pair I ordered recently said size 10 but fit like a size 6.

Columbia has the most inconsistent sizing of any brand. You can never order the same item in the same size and have them fit. Sometimes they are sized in letter sizes and other times in numerical sizes. The rize (sp?) is always too short. Also, there are way too many choices. Narrow the selections, get rid of the zippers which make the pants bulky in the wrong places i.e. waist and hips. Just my 2 cents for what it is worth.

I am so disappointed. The PFG Aruba pants and the Saturday Trail stretch pants used to be my favorite all-purpose pants. Comfortable, stretchy, great fit. I have been wearing them for years and they have held up very nicely. I have them both in size 6 but recently lost 10 pounds and they are now much too big on me. After reading recent reviews saying these pants now run small, I reordered in both size 4 and size 6, knowing that I would have to return the ones that don't fit. They are both much too small! I can barely button the size 6 Saturday Trail, and cannot even button the size 6 Aruba. The old size 6's of both are literally falling off my waist. Listen to all the reviewers who say the sizing has changed!! But not only that, the material is very different -- crunchy, not soft and pliable like the old ones. I am returning all six pairs of pants I ordered and will never again order pants from Columbia. So disappointing! Why did you have to change a good thing, Columbia?!

Worn for years. New ones are different, cheaper and crispy material. Should get 0 stars if intended to be just like my old ones.

The material was very soft but they are not made for curvy women.

I am 130 lbs and 5'9" tall. Normally I wear a 6 (sometimes a 4) and that was too small. I then ordered an 8 and still too small. Returning both. Style great but fit is very odd.
