Loved these pants only I found they run small. I bought another pair of Columbia (same size) at the same time and those fit perfectly. Had to send these back, unfortunately.

I really liked these pants. I have a hiking trip to go on during the beginning of spring and pants like these were recommended. It seemed like they allowed a wide range of movement and would be comfortable. But the sizing wasn't right. I used the size guide that is provided for Columbia clothing. I know my measurements, but I took my measurements just to be sure, and ordered according to the size guide. The pants were too small that I ordered. They fit perfectly everywhere except the waist. Bummer. Unfortunately, I ended up returning them.

I didn't realize when ordering pants I should of went up a size. I usually wear a 6 so I ordered a 6 and they were too tight I had to squeeze to get the button snapped! Haha so upset because they are so cute and soft but I didn't think it'd be very comfy to hike in pants that didn't snap well. I decided to order another pair and of course no 8s so I'm trying a 10! I don't own any 10s but I'm hoping I can use a belt and have plenty of room to move or even layer up when hiking. I read other reviews saying people went up two sizes on some pants. The 6s felt like 4s. I'm 5'3 127lbs hope this helps! I will be sure to post when I get the 10s! The material is light weight great for spring hikes!

I am between a size 6 and 8 at most places, so seeing the reviews ordered an 8, which was much, much too small. There is no stretch to the fabric at all. Due to the cost of return, in case a 10 is too big, I will not be re-ordering.

Liked the fabric weight and feel, but the cut of the pant did not work for me: rise was too short & hips were too wide; legs seem to taper too quickly from the fuller hip to look stylish.

The fabric is too stretchy and it pulls easily when you walk through thorns. The fabric rubs where my thighs are and creates little pill balls. Also, the velcro that holds the back pockets shut doesn't work as well after several wears/washes. I wear them once a week and bought them several months ago. They serve their purpose but I like the Pilsner pants better.

Unfortunately I will be returning this item. I had my doubts when I saw how many people said the pants run small, but decided to take a chance. I do love the style of the pants, but the material is very thin and the pants do not have much give to them. They fit great if they were a pair of everyday pants I would wear, but since I plan on doing a lot of hiking in them, I wanted some give to the pants.

The short is too short for me (5'3) and would look awkward with hiking boots or shoes. The waist is very high and they are quite unflattering in the booty. Going to return.

The fit and materials of these pants are great. But the pockets are a joke! They are so shallow that chapstick, coins and money easily fall out when sitting and forget about putting a phone in any of the pockets. I'm disappointed that these aren't more functional for active hikers and travelers. I hope they update the pocket design on all of their pants and capris otherwise I won't be a customer.

These were so close! I am 5'7", ~150 lbs, and very pear shaped/bottom heavy. If these pants had a drawstring they would have worked. I love that you can roll them up into capris, and the stretchy light material, but unfortunately I would have had to tailor the waist in so that they would fit my larger thighs and smaller waist. I tried on at least 10 pairs of similar pants and finally found the Columbia Anytime Outdoor Full Leg Pant! They have a drawstring and a fuller leg and fit like they were made for my oddly proportioned body!

These were neither flattering nor comfortable on me, which was disappointing given the reviews. The waistband is, as others have mentioned, constricting and the slash pockets gapped on my body. The material was great and the pant leg straps are an interesting and possibly functional design feature, but neither was enough to keep these.

I really wanted to like these pants. They look so good on the model in the photo and are made of a really nice material. They were not flattering on my hips and did not fit my butt well - too low when I bent over and unattractive bunching in the crotch area. Probably more suitable for someone with narrower hips and a flatter butt. I ordered a size 10; I am 150 pounds, 5'7".

Ordered both my normal size and one size larger due to report that these run small. Neither were a good fit.

After a cruise and 4 days at a resort, I wish I could say I lost weight. Nope, it was the pants. Have to say, I love Columbia products. And these pants feel great when you put them on. They are true to size THEN. However, after a day of travel in them, they stretch. So you need to be wearing a belt. After washing and drying, they are back to size. Thought about getting a smaller size, but that might not work. Bought them because the Saturday trail shorts are so great.

I wanted to love these to use for an upcoming trip, however the sizing was very different than a pair I purchased a few months ago. I'm petite, so although I ordered the short, I would have to have them tailored. Will have to return.

Ladies, I almost never write reviews, but I needed to warn others that these run small and the rise was *very* short. These pulled up uncomfortably in front. Ouch! And I was trying to wear them below my natural waist. Now, I am naturally short waisted, although do not have trouble buying pants that fit well, generally. Also, I have other pants from Columbia. Still, this style seemed to have a much shorter rise than the others I have from this brand. Very cute and loved the style. But must send these back…any movement that involved bending, squatting, climbing, etc., created a very uncomfortable front-facing wedgie.

12L was the right length for my 5'9" frame, however, the waist and hip are way too tight. I'm an average BMI and they fit more like leggings up top. Not quite what I was hoping for so back they go.

I am a size 6 so that is what I ordered. The pants run so SMALL that I couldn't even get them to close. I had to return them. They do not run true to size. If you're a 6, order at least one size up, maybe even two sizes up. Whatever your size, order up!

I used to love these pants, but the sizing and material changed, and they no longer work for me. The waistband is way too tight and no longer stretches like it used to. If I go up a size to where the waist fits, the pants are way too big otherwise.

I am 5'00" and 103 lb. Size 2 Short has an inseam of 30"! Product info only said Inseam: 30" Short. I assumed the length was for somewhere in medium size. The inseam length should be adjusted depending on size. Snap closer is so tight to open/close to the point my fingers hurt. Over time, it may tear fabric. Waist band has no give whatsoever. I have an old Saturday Trail Knee pants. Snap closure is easy to operate. Waist band is comfortable. Material is much softer & less noisier. Over all, quality went way down.

The snap design is very poor and difficult to accomplish. Why must one always order a size up and why is the rise on most bottoms so short?

These pants run extremely small. I am usually consistent in the size I wear but had to order two sizes up for these pants. I'm 5'10" and the Long was a good length for me.

Bought them for fishing and other outdoor activities. Got my usual size (14) and they were too small. Will return for a bigger size. Seems like good quality material.

Thread on seams shrunk & pucker, which makes the pants look really cheap, which is not at all the look i was going for.
