I have a couple of pair of the Saturday Trail Capris. I love them, perfect fit. I wear them for work all summer to take me from the office to work outdoors and back. I thought the pants would be perfect for cooler weather. They are much more fitted then the capris however, enough so that I'm not comfortable wearing them in the office-they are quite snug. I was pretty disappointed, I might still wear them for camping or hiking, but eventually I'll try a size larger (6 instead of 4) and see if that works better, hopefully they won't be too big in the waist.

The styling of these pants is very nice, the fabric is great, however the size 10 was too tight on me. I purchased the Saturday Trail II knee pants as well and those fit just right. Also, I have several other pairs of Columbia pants--all size 10 and all perfect fits.

I've worn these pants for a few years now and loved the fit and style. However, this year's pants are uncomfortable tight in the waist (I haven't gained weight, and the old ones still fit great). It seems like the old waist had more 'give' than the new ones do. I was so disappointed to discover that. When I size up, they're too loose in the legs. Please bring back the old fit by adjusting the waist size. Otherwise my original size still fits great. Thanks!

I really want to love these pants because the color is great and I like the feel of the fabric on the legs, plus they have the option to convert to capris. But, the fit is weird. I am 5'8" and about 130lbs. Typically I wear a size 4 in most pants. I originally ordered these in a 4, but I could barely pull them on- no way was I getting them buttoned! I exchanged for a 6 and though the thigh/hip fit is better, the waist band is infuriatingly small with ZERO stretch and the crotch length is also short . So, if you have ANY tummy at all be prepared for a serious muffin top. I'm currently wearing them around the house to see if I can tolerate the tightness around my waist (well, top of hip bone really since the waist band is low) or if I need to hang it up and send them back.

I'm 5'6, 180lbs, and ordered a size 16. The overall fit was just weird. First, they were very high wasted and buttoned at least 2 inches above my belly button (not as pictured on the website). The crotch area also creased up weird. Great color and stretch, but unfortunately the fit just didn't work for me.

I wear an 8 or 10 in every pair of pant I own. Tried these in a 10 and they didn’t even come close to buttoning. I could barely get them over my thighs.

I purchased these at a discount rate at the end of the season, however I have to return them as they are too small. Like others have said, these run at least 1 size probably 2 sizes too small compared to other Columbia pants. I think they would have been alright if they had fit.

I REALLY wanted to like these. The fabric is great, the shape is nice, but it pretty much stopped there. The pockets don't lay flat, which I could get over, but when I started walking it felt like the pants were riding up my butt--they gave me the worst wedgie.

Nice looking trail pants, but cut way too low for hiking (less than mid-rise) and the Long is not very long at all. If you are tall, these are not the pants for you! (I am 5'10"). Too bad, because the color and the material is nice!

These run very small. I usually wear a 4 and the size 6 was too small.

These pants are of good quality. However, it runs at least 2 sizes too small.

I originally ordered a size 8 which I always wear with Columbia but they were really tight in the crotch . Not a good thing! The wonderful woman in customer service reordered a size 10 and it came the next day. These pants don't have the bit of stretch that other Columbia pants used to have. Not as comfortable. I'm a very active 60 something. 6' ,149 lbs. Thanks for having tall pants.

I am almost always a size 8 but the 8s in these were way too small. I think I would have needed to go to a 12 but I decided to go to a total different style because these had no stretch to them. I went with the Bryce Canyon pants instead and they had a lot more stretch to them and fit my shape much better. I have a rather narrow waist and wide hips. I didn't give them a below average rating because they would be a nice pair of pants in the right size if someone didn't mind the lack of "give" I felt they had.

for Me too slim in leg and 14 did not fit as other columbia pants, runs very small.

Great fabric and well made. However, I ordered long and they were still too short. I'm 5'9" - mostly legs. I was disappointed that "Longs" weren't long

I bought these pants in sizes 10 and 12 in an attempt to replace a size 10 pair I bought 3-4 years ago. While the details (snaps, pockets, zippers, etc.) appear not to have changed, other aspects have. The new size 10 is much too small for me in the waist and hips, although I can still comfortably wear my old size 10 pair. Also, the fabric seems stiffer and makes more rustling noises. Since the size 12 was too large at the waist and in the legs for me, I had to return both sizes. However, for someone with the right configuration, these would be nice-looking and very stretchable pants.

loved so much about these pants, but ultimately returning, because of the camel-toe vibe (the seam is not tight, it's just the way that it's stitched, that it adds attention to that area).

I had purchased this exact style of Columbia pants in olive from a different retailer and they fit great. So I ordered these in tan, same size from Zappos -- and the fit was totally different -- upper legs too tight, generally bad fit. Not sure why.

True to size, but legs are too skinny for me. I have muscular thighs, and these fit too much like a skinny tight jean.

I was so excited to get these pants. I ordered them in a size 6L- the same size I order all of my other Columbia pants and shorts. The legs fit but the waist was too tight to button, the material was not as elastic/stretchy as the other pants I have purchased. I ended up returning the pants.

Pant legs fit true to size, but waist band was too small. Waist band also had no stretch capacity to it, making them slightly uncomfortable when not standing. Roll up feature on pant leg makes them comfortable in most weather conditions. Overall, ended up returning product because of fit in the waist.

I've ordered the convertible omnishield pants, and these run much smaller in the waist. I ordered 3 pairs, different colors, all the same size. The fit was not consistent.

I usually order this type of pant in an 8 as the stretch compensates for any "snugness". These pants did not fit the bill. The were tight in the crotch and the waistband did not have much give. I felt the overall design would not fit my body type even if I went up one size. I recommend this product due to quality and workmanship.

I love these pants and have them from last year in the same size, but when I ordered them again because they are so good, they are too small. I am very disappointed that I had to pay for shipping to return pants that should have fit so I could exchange them for a bigger size!

I'm 5'3 and normally wear a womens 29 or size 8 pant. The regular fit is way too long and so I ordered up a size in a short. I was shocked to find that the leg length was good but the inseam and waist were still way too small and uncomfortable. I'm now ordering a 12 short in the hopes that it will fit well all over. There is no stretch/give in the material. It's disappointing because I really love the look and feel of the pant but I'm having to spend a lot of extra money in shipping because the fit is so untrue to my normal size. I'm still recommending this product pending further review and receipt of my size exchange.
