The one thing that I'd like is a little stretching where the zipper is for the leg.

These pants are nice because they come in a short length. Although they run a little tight in the waist for the size I wear. I'll probably keep them and try to adjust the waist somehow. I will not be wearing them until the summertime for fishing season but they seem very comfortable when I tried them on.

I have worn these pants a handful of times now, and absolutely love their comfort. The fabric is very breathable. I use these for my Scout pants, and they look very nice, and are very practical. I do wish I had ordered my actual size. I ordered a size larger as everyone said they run small and feel that they Gap a little bit. Truthfully, the only thing I do not love about these pants is that the pockets want to pop out. I wear a size 6, I bought a size 8 and do not feel like the pockets should pop out when I'm wearing them. I actually had to pin them to make it look less strange. Even with that critique, I do recommend these pants.

These pants are well made. I haven't worn them yet, but I think they will be very handy when I'm travelling. The fabric is lightweight, has a quality feel and a little stretch to it. They fit true to size. I gave them 4 stars overall and not 5 because I haven't used them yet.

The waist is true-to-size but the leg is a little narrow when I sit down. I feel the seems where you can remove the pant. It's all around OK so I'm keeping them.

Love the zip off legs. Pretty comfie, unless you're sweating. Material has some stretch but does not breath or wick sweat at all. Would really like to see this improved. Love the zip off legs.

I've been looking for a convertible backpacking pant that has a little stretch in the material. I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs. I ordered a 10P. I have an athletic build from skiing, running and cycling and am muscular through the thighs and butt. Normally I wear a 6, but I've found Columbia pants tend to run thinner so I sized up. The length is perfect and the material has enough stretch for athletic use. These are a perfect fit and will be great for backpacking this summer!

I had bought these in the regular length but sent back and got in short. I usually wear a 4 or 6, bought an 8 and was glad I heeded the other reviews regarding sizing up. I'm 5'3", 120 and an 8 short fits perfectly. Yay.

Great looking and nice feel. Unfortunately they are too tight in the thigh and the zipper irritates when sitting. Had to return.

I love these pants. I am a tall , 5'11", and have a difficult time finding clothing that fits, especially for outdoor activities. I will be ordering more in the future. The waist and length are perfect, the only drawback on these is that when bending in certain positions or sitting, they feel a bit snug where the zipper is that converts the pants to shorts. I have slender legs and I think anyone with a fuller thigh may have an issue with this.

The upper thigh area around the zipper can be a little tight when raising your knees. But it hasn't been so bad that it's stopped me from wearing them. The pockets are great and the zip offs are perfect for variable weather or if you're about to go for a swim.

I saw that some people said to order a size up and I did. The pants fell off of me. Am thinking I need a size smaller than usual. I'm 5'10 and the L is perfect. Just huge.

Took these on a really rugged trail (west Coast Trail) and the deep pockets and versatility were so valuable to me. Only down side is the fabric pulls a bit easily when you log sit so be careful around the campfire or climbing over a downed tree.

Very difficult for me to find pants that aren't way to long, these fit perfectly.

Unfortunately I had to return as they were way too small. The material is soft and stretchy. 2 Velcro pockets in the back, 2 pockets in front, and 1 zip pocket on the theigh. I will be ordering a size up.

High quality pants but run very small. I wear a 2 in the Columbia Just Right Straight leg pants. But in this style, a 2 is two and 1/2 inchess too small in the waist.

Quality hiking pants, little tight around the leg, were the leg zipped off. Love the color!

These pants will get used a lot. The brown color is good with lots of things including two of the 1/4 zip ruched sleeve tops that I bought to accompany them. I bought a size 10 short, and I am 5'5". Regular length was sold out. They are a tiny bit short, but good length for hiking. The draw string at the bottom is a good idea for tick country. I found the waist to be a bit smaller than usual Columbia size 10s. Comfortable and figure flattering.

Side (hip) pockets are a problem for me ... they "bag out" and do not look very attractive. My husband reminds me that these pants are for hiking - not runway modeling - but, still ..... Other than feeling like a hippo in these pants, the product quality and fit are very good.

Nice comfortable stretch fabric for hiking. I agree with previous reviews that the area where the zipper is located feels tight if you sit or significantly bend you knee.

I love these pants so much. They look cool, and are so functional. The material is great for warm or cool weather. I like the zipper function, but it is kind of snug. I am 5' 3 105 lbs and the thigh part was dangerously close to being too tight. They fit perfectly, but if i get thicker, these will be uncomfortable. I got a regular because they were out of short, and I am happy I did. They arent dragging like the other regulars I've gotten. As for now, they are great and I love them. So many zippers.

These are nice convertibles for travelers and/or campers/hikers. I own two pairs! Pros: They have a cinch cord at the ankle (nice!) and they zip off far enough above the knee joint that they don't interfere or bug the back of the knee. Cons: They are prone to show any butt-flaw. Flap pockets would make these the perfect outdoor pant!
