Although I love the look of these red shoes, they simply are bizarre: I've tried to wear the size 40 ones I tried on at the store & thought that they would stretch. They were very comfortable. A year later, I still cannot wear them at size 40, which is ~9.5. Ordinarily I float between 9 and 9.5, but these?! My left big toe goes to sleep from the pressure & they _still_ slip off my feet very easily--almost too easily to tell the truth. The color red is now out of stock. So...what did I do? Finally broke down & just bought another color--light gold--in the 41 (!) & they fit perfect. (sigh)

I bought these shoes last year in a size 9.5. They were so tight crushing my feet into the toe area that I had to send them back. I then ordered a size 10.5 and that pair was exactly the same deal as the 9.5 pair. WAY too tight in the toe area. Both pairs of shoes felt like they were missized and should have been labeled as size 8 or 20. I am deeply disappointed in these shoes and in Bernie Mev for not seeing how back the sizing is. They aren't slightly off in sizing. They are WAY off. Bad business. Too bad. They look comfortable but they are painful to wear.

I purchased these shoes a little over a year ago. They have completely stretched out of shape ---so much so that they no longer stay on my feet. Don't buy!! LOUSY! WASTE OF MONEY!!

Wanted to love these stylish flats but they were really uncomfortable. When you walk your toes get scrunched into the shoe and your heel slips out with every step. Couldn't stand to wear for even 2 minutes. Very poor design.

These shoes are really weird, believe me, the size 35 is not a 4.5, they are quite large and the left foot is bigger than the right.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I tried U.S. size 8.5 & they were too short in the toe box. I wasn't able to find a good explanation why Bernie Mev only makes half sizes & whether their shoes stretch out after wearing for a while, so I took them up on their invite to make inquiry on Bernie Mev's own website. Still waiting for a reply & don't expect to ever hear from them. In the meantime, I ordered next size (9.5). They fit well in toe box, but are too wide. I have a feeling the 9.5 were previously purchased, tried out for a while and then returned to Zappos (if that's true, then it was good to find out just how much they stretch instead of getting a pair that had never been worn).

I ordered both a 41 and a 40. I returned both, because the ones that fit (41) were not the color I wanted. I waited till that color was in stock again, and ordered another 41. To my disappointment, they didn't fit, and felt even shorter than the 40. I believe they were mismarked...in fact, I can tell the shoes were returned by someone before I received them, because they were not packed the same way. Loved the design of these shoes otherwise, but confused how one pair in the same size but different color are so different in fit. Will be returning this pair.

Augh! I love the Hazels in this brand and it looks like they're discontinued. Ordered this one in the same size (39) and a size smaller since I read that their sizes vary from style to style. The 38 was too small and the 39 managed to be both too tight in the big toe and too wide in the middle of my foot. It also felt like my foot wasn't centered in the shoe when I walked. I tried it in 2 colors so that wasn't just a weird pair. Super disappointing.

I love Bernie Mev shoes for comfort and style, but it seems to be hit or miss with consistent size and quality of production for this shoe. I ordered a 37 and the left foot fit but the right foot heel was all stretched out and was falling off my foot. I ordered a 36 and the right foot was too tight but the left foot heel was all stretched out and didn't fit. I give up!

I received my bernie mev. Catwalk shoes today. I ordered size 39. Left shoe fit as it should but the right shoe is way bigger and I walk right out of it. Both shoes say 39 on the soles but you can see the difference in size just looking at them side by side.

I was more than pleasantly surprised when I slipped these on. I wear a true size 9 and ordered a 40. They fit perfectly. I have a narrow heel, so was worried they may slip off. Due to the higher than normal back, they are perfect! If you are looking for style and comfort in one shoe, these are the ones!

This is the fourth pair of these I've ordered. Loved the first ones I got. The opening in the woven upper on this shoe has changed. The fit of the redesigned version no longer works for me and does not look as nice on as the earlier purchases, which I still wear.

Do NOT buy these shoes if you want a pair of shoes to fit your feet. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe so I bought both the size 40 and 41. When trying on both sizes, my toes are right up against the front of the shoes which means both sizes are too small for my feet! Since Bernie Mev doesn't bother to make any sizes larger than a 41 I am stuck with 41. I don't think they get how to make a pair of properly sized shoes. While walking on a hard surface, the shoes are comfy on the bottom of my feet but the toes are screaming in pain. May I also add the shoes smell? If your feet sweat while wearing the shoes, the smell, a chemical smell, will get worse.

The color and style are great, but there is absolutely no support. They are very flimsy and cheap feeling. I am returning them.

These shoes felt really good until I started walking one day and all of a sudden they are hurting me only in the toes. I guess they push your foot forward and therefore I cannot wear them. I wish I could trade them for an open toe instead. Cannot wear them, shame! Wish the store had the COMFY.

Very disappointed. I wear size 8 1/2 and European size has always been 39. Some manufacturers have 2 options now for each European size. Either an 8-8 1/2. Or 8 1/2-9. Neither fits a true 8 1/2. I ordered 2 pairs in a 39 - way too tight - had to send them back. My sister has them and loves them. if they fit they're great.

I wear size 9 and I ordered size 9. They fit well except when I walked they slid off my heel. I don't have a narrow heel. These shoes are cute and look nice on. really wish they were designed better.

Very frustrated! I wear a size 9 shoe, size 10 running shoe. After reading reviews, I bought a size 40. Too small. Called and ordered a 41. Still too small!! I feel like my toes are crunched in the front of the shoe. Going to switch back to an open toe since these do not come any larger. Sad because these shoes are very cute and would be very comfortable if not too short.

Very cute shoe, but absolutely no cushion or support. I tried putting in one of my cushioned soles but that didn't help much. I would keep them if I didn't have to walk in them-just cause they are so cute. They remind me of my mothers rag rugs. Also, I wear a size 9-9.5 and the size 40 was barely big enough.
